Thing is, you're not having cold feet but rather a COLD DARK heart. Here are the following errors you made in your story:

1. You got a visa in Qatar. A country you claim to be living in for 2 years yet, you want to get a health insurance in Nigeria? There aren't any in Qatar? How can any sane HR hire someone with this level of reasoning?

2. A question requires a question mark by the way. And the rest? Good lord

3. It is impossible to get an EU type visa without health insurance. So, how did you get a visa without one? Think hard and come up with a good lie for this one

4. "The German company is paying for my flight and accommodation for 2 weeks but I am still having cold feet. The process is cumbersome". So, which is it? I mean, you already got the visa and they're paying for your accommodation and flight. What is cumbersome about that?

5. A company that pays your accommodation and flight ticket cannot afford to get you health insurance? Really?

6. Next time, don't claim to be in the IT field as you're seriously lacking in intelligence. To get a work visa you need to have verifiable references and yes they'll check. Also, you need to have a degree in the field of study related to the job offer. Also, with years of verifiable experience.

7. Creating multiple fake accounts with fake replies of joy and interest to the subject at hand is an old classic move. It rarely works. Or maybe I'm wrong. Maybe people are really that desperate and ignorant

It will be very hard to get your wife to join you in Germany (from my experience). The travel insurance thingy, try https://safetywing.com/ I used them as well. You will also need German health insurance already issued (your company should have done this with your labor market approval) I didn't go eventually because the German company did me a strong thing before I could even join them in Germany. But still, God dey. If your city is Munich or Hamburg and your net pay isn't above €4,000 please turn it down. The Standard of living in those two cities is mad. Congratulations man

What you need is a German health insurance and not the usual travel insurance we get from Nigeria. You can not subscribe for German health insurance until you land in Germany, I will advise you discuss this with your employer/Hr for better understanding. Germany is a cool country and the people are great.

Are you sure you can survive with Euro 2000? Please check cost of living before moving. Things are very expensive there as compared to Naija. If the job is remote why can't you stay here and support? However, if you want to leverage on that so as to get a better offer no problem. Just be aware that there's language barrier. You need to learn their language.

In as much as it sounds to be good news. Please do thorough research about the company to be rest assured that it is genuine. Don't just be carried away and rush there since you are having a reservation. I am not saying this to create fear in your heart, but there are many fake companies out there looking for human organs, (kidneys).
Above all, pray about it and remember to tell your family and friends where you are going. If possible, let the closest person to you know the address of this company in Germany.

2000 Euros per month ?.IT Looks small .what Kind of Job are you going to do there .That will detwrmine If the pay is Wörth IT.dont get trapped into some Slave Jobs .you need to Look at the contract ,the Nature of the Job .If they Tell you 2000 Euros before tax.by the time ,they remove Tax,you pay for accomodation ,all bills.you need to Know what is left.if you are coming for a Professional Job,2000 Euros is far small .depending on the City you are going,cost of living is high based on different City .the contract May specify that you will be on probation for 6 month ,If you dont deliver .you are Kicked Out .You have language to Deal with ,so If its a Job that does Not require german.you May cope ,learning German May Take years to be fluent lol.so If i will advice you,study your contract and dont JUMP to a miserable job.i Know a Guy WHO left Nigeria to discover He is trapped to a Job which involves working 12 hours a day under harsh conditions with No insurance and very little pay.Its a good Thing to travel abroad ,But be smart .have a nice day
