@hotness
well to you that is what heartbreak is because that is probably how you experienced or something. but to me that was heartbreak because well it was my fault of what happened to us the other day. and i had to deal with that because im not use to being wrong. and yeah im quick at the mouth. so i had to deal with what i did and wonder if i just throw away the one good thing in my life. You might be reading this and thinking that i have no idea what your version of heartbreak is, but this is mine. undecided

making up is alwayz the best part grin grin
well yes and no. It was fun making up!!! but the next morning i had a huge hickey on the side of my neck. and no matter what i did i couldnt conceal it. so when i went to practice, my coach noticed it and was furious. i had to do an hour worth of punishment. but it was worth it. grin grin

@hotnes
heartbreak means different things to different people.

Romance › Re: Cure To A Broken Heart! by onyinye2(f): 11:19pm On Jun 17, 2008
Well yesterday i had my heart broken so this is what helped me get through it
1. My music
i pulled out my Tupac and started jamming. it cleared my head and i let the beats and rhymes flow through my head.

2. Work out
I ran two miles on the track to clear my head. when i run i forget anything that is around me and let my mind run and heart speak. Them i went to my belly dance class and it put my mind into a different perspective.

3. My mirror
i stared at myself for a long time. this helps because i see the pain im in and it makes me remember who i truly am.

4. Acceptance
When i finally accepted the fact why my heart was hurting. By understanding this i was able to calm down to help myself find a solution to the problem that would make me happy.

@ jenny
naw, that is kanye west

@debosky

easier said then done. he is not going to hear me out. and we are both too uptight to apologize. but seriously it is mostly my fault. this wouldnt have happened if i just let my ego down and let him throw his little fit. but like i get stressed too and i dont go around showing it. i have alot on my plate too. i got have a job, track practice, basketball practice, and i have to take care of my brother who is autistic. but i dont go around yelling at him.

@Jenny

i get your point in some sense. i know i shouldnt have asked for a break at the midst of the moment but i just couldnt take it any more. it seemed like i was having to hold my tongue all the time with him. which of course you guys know isnt me. I know im always quick in the mouth but i just couldnt take it any more. it is not like he is the only one who has problems.

TOH:
then why did you say what you said?
you see i know you guys are dog tired of hearing all my bf problems and such. but he means alot to me. he has always been there for me so of course im going to talk about him all the time. but his only fault is his biggest problem. he does have a temper. and that collides with my controlling independent self. and i couldnt take it any more so i wanted a break. not a complete separation. so that is why i asked you guys for your help because Jenny you are right, we are pretty much are kids and i need you guys adult advice.
Romance › Re: The Right Decision? by onyinye2(op): 12:23am On Jun 17, 2008
he is under alot of pressure right now. he has two jobs, takes care of his mom and has track practice. so he is a man. but i just get tired of him taking his anger on me sometimes. but i dont want him to leave still. i love him. and he is all i want.
Romance › The Right Decision? by onyinye2(op): 12:10am On Jun 17, 2008
Today i was on one of the other threads you know commenting on my beliefs. then all the sudden my boyfriend walks through the door all mad. He imediatley took some of his anger on me. he told me he was tired of me being on this site all the freaking time and i needed to delete. so knowing him as long as i do, i just did what i was told. usually i would have snapped back but i knew he was really stressed. So i started a new one when he came back to me stating that i could go back to my old one. Im so tired of his moodiness. i understand that he is under alot of pressure but it seems like im the punching bag for his anger. not literally. so even though i knew he was mad i told him that i wanted a break from the relationship. he looked at me and just walked out the door. i have tried calling him but he turned his phone off. Then his sister called me telling me that she has never seen him this angry. So im asking you guys for you help since i consider you guys as family for your help. usually i have things in control but im seriously afraid that i have probably lost him. so since most of you are more experienced in relationships then me, would you please help to find a way to get him back?? i really couldnt imagine him not in my life.

it wouldnt bother me if a woman called her man monkey if his name started with Pa and ended with taki.
Romance › Re: A Wife Referring To Her Husband As "my Lord" by onyinye2(f): 11:05pm On Jun 16, 2008
you men are something special. if you want to be called lord then that is your own cup of tea. but personally i feel that if a ordinary man needs to be called lord then you really need to re-interpret your manliness. a real man doesnt need to be called lord cause he knows he is holding it down in the household. but if you are one of those men you demand the title well good luck to your ego.
Romance › Re: A Wife Referring To Her Husband As "my Lord" by onyinye2(f): 10:58pm On Jun 16, 2008
sorry but there is no way in the world i would call my man my lord. he is not my savior just my husband. i love him but sorry it aint happening.

Pataki:
Ask the queen of England, why she is is referred to and called as Her Royal Majesty. tongue Then you will realize calling names in relationship strengthens the relationship and flows. tongue
mind you that the queen of England has no power at all. you might want a different example.
Romance › Re: A Wife Referring To Her Husband As "my Lord" by onyinye2(f): 10:47pm On Jun 16, 2008
there is no need to give your partner a name of high distinction. i dont need anyone calling me a queen cause i already know i am.
Romance › Re: A Wife Referring To Her Husband As "my Lord" by onyinye2(f): 10:41pm On Jun 16, 2008
why do men want to be called lord?? is there a feeling of power in such a name?? a queen means a women leader basically. but lord means savior and someone to worship. and if your first name aint Jesus and last name Christ I AINT WORSHIPPING YOU!!!!!!!
Romance › Re: A Wife Referring To Her Husband As "my Lord" by onyinye2(f): 10:27pm On Jun 16, 2008
oka when you call your woman a queen it doesnt mean that much . well i mean it does mean something but to compare that with the word lord just doesnt cut it. by me calling my husband my lord i get the feeling he is my savior or something or a god. queen and lord are in to different categories.
Romance › Re: A Wife Referring To Her Husband As "my Lord" by onyinye2(f): 10:14pm On Jun 16, 2008
oh heck NAW!!!! i could never call my husband my lord. i might love him but im sorry i just couldnt do that. i hate the feeling of being inferior to anyone and by calling him that it would just add to that. i understand that there are some men you call their woman their queen but that is a whole different story.
Romance › Re: Sincere Advice Needed Please! by onyinye2(f): 10:06pm On Jun 16, 2008
oh just grow up already. you cant expect to please everyone. you gonna have to be cut throat on this one and be straight up with this pyscho and tell her you are not interested. yeah there is a possibility that she might cry well that is a chance you are going to have to take. she might be your close friend but if you keep her as a friend, just start kissing your relationship goodbye.
