ROFL This is hilarious we had a visitor at work today and I greeted him by saying Welcome to Washington. It was unbelievable I apologised and told him my spirit was at the Inaugural in DC
Hehehehe. . . . . you know I had to show everybody up on the first day of school. I came in with my spray painted Obama shoes, my Obama shirt, my Obama sweat pants, and of course, my Obama hat. You know I was a show stoppa' today. |
KarmaMod:Remember when she wore that one dress early on in the running?? OMG. . . . . . folk was going nuts and crazy of it. As if she done committed murder. Talking about how she is this and that. These ppl truly have time. |
KarmaMod:Bwahahahahaha. . . . . . . I hate weaves on my head. I can barely withstand ghana braids for two weeks. But I personally like what Michelle was wearing. And we all know if she got her hair did, Ohhhhhhhhhh. . . . . watch tabloids explode saying "Is Michelle bringing the ways of the streets to the white house?" "Michelle Obama and her controversial hair do. Could this foreshadow the direction America will be heading? A more liberal America?" Olodos. |
I have lived in an area where there were man Black Americans. And well actually I really didn't see many people with so called "Ghetto Names". In fact some were better than the english names i saw Africans giving their children. I would see maybe a few Shaniques and possibly Deshawn but all that crap and stereotypical names you wrote above were just out landish and ridiculous. If you want to make fun of names, why not go after celebs who name they child: Apple and Saffron. |
ChinenyeN:Yeah, yeah, yeah. . . . . but you probably had supportive and willing people to help you. I for one don't have anybody of humble persona to teach me. ijeoma2619:I need more than good luck, more like a miracle. romeo:Oka first off, you can't come and and assume that I don't put an effort into learning because I do. If i didn't the hell I would be even giving a damn. I would have just pushed this language aside and stuck with english and spanish. Second off, NO the Igbo thread can't help me because I don't read Igbo so going there is like sending a chinese person to some arabic thread and expecting them to grasp it. Don't act like I don't ask for help when clearly if you go back pages into the Igbo thread, I was. And what happened?? Not much that is what happened. And the kind of corrections yall do, aint even constructive more on the grounds of "Holier then Thou" attitude. Spirit ko, sprite ni. afam4eva:Negative. You don't know the Igbo I know. |
KarmaMod:WHOA!!!! I surely wasn't expecting that. Barely Nigerian you say?? Hmmmm. . . . . quite thought provoking. Oka, I only dated AA men in high school because back than, I was only into athletes and they were athletic. So I went for them. So you can kick rocks with out socks. Onye iberibe dike gi. ![]() Treetop20:Izuzu onwe gi. Agadi nwoke. ![]() |
Riskie:My hair really improved because most don't know I have natural hair because I get it pressed. So it looks like I have a relaxer. So my hair is really thick so getting moisture to it was very hard. So I tried what you said, and like my hair is growing alot more and looks so healthy. Good luck with your transition and keep the faith because it does get frustrating. KarmaMod:LIAR!!! ![]() I saw you last week with La'Deshawn oka. ![]() @Topic Of course I have. They are absolutely delicious. ![]() |
Riskie:Hey Riskie!!! I know this is off topic but I just wanted to say that I have been using your hair care regiment and my hair has grown two inches and it is so full and thick. Like I'm just loving it because I was having so much trouble with dandruff and I'm like "What should I do?" So I increased the moisture in my hair and it is just been heaven sent. Thanks. |
HeatFusion:Girl I'm good. Just getting my stuff together for school. Treetop20:Enjoy gini?? Hmmmm. . . . . makes me value the kind of women you date. I got to go back to school and I can't mix pleasure with business. |
Treetop20:O di mma. Just enjoying my last two days here you know. Oh yeah don't think I didn't see your comment on us Nigerian girls. agadi nwoke. ![]() |
jalether:I'm sorry sweetheart. ![]() Could you do me a favor in explaining what this word means? Thank You. ![]() |
DaPhoenix:Buahahahahaha. . . . . . this is just sad. I mean all this bashing from this guy all because of what? ![]() HeatFusion:Hey babes, how you dey? Treetop20:Hey babes, kedu? |
DaPhoenix, u herd wat he sayd. U r a arrogant bitch. ![]() Mayne it is hard to write with poor English skills. ![]() |
DaPhoenix:DAMN. . . . . . and you say I'm mean?? SHEISH. ![]() |
Yall aint following the rules. agadi umunwoke. ![]() |
ibkaye:I believe this one is a lie. If memory befriends me, you said you have been to Nigeria Three times in the past. 1. I hate the taste of beef, pork, and veil. 2. I'm deeply afraid of clowns. 3. I love Krispy Kreme Donuts. |
Chi-Babes. . . . . I will look into the site you know but I'm not making any promises. You know because to me Igbo will never be a language I will be fluent in. That is just it. But you know I will work on it. Practice more. And maybe, just maybe actually allow a word to slip out my mouth. ![]() |
No parties for me. |
ijeoma2619:LMAO!!!! Yeah that is what I do sometimes cause like I know some phrases to say like when someone does something to offend me in Igbo and Yoruba. But for me to go right on ahead and continue a conversation with someone, I don't think so. Igbo is madd hard. And say that your accent and upbringings don't make a difference but it does. I can simulate an Igbo accent but to grasp is fully is a stretch. |

. . . well, at least you're not entirely giving up. That's a bit of a consolation for me. . . Also, if it's any consolation for you, I never really used to speak Igbo. I could say a few words and phrases (mainly "yes", "no", "it is/was [insert name here]" "hello", "sorry", etc. small things like that). But I never could hold a conversation until about 3+ years ago when I decided I'd pick up the language. So just have faith in yourself. If you say yes, your Chi will say yes.

I'm glad that it's working for you! I've had amazing results as well. I've made some changes to my regimen because I decided to go natural! Waiting a few more months to post progress pics. I never knew taking care of my hair would actually result in growth and super soft hair.
