The hell I would. I would just do what my parents did which is too threaten them if they behave badly, I will just ship them off to Nigeria. I have lost a lot of friends because they left like this.

Yeah half my family is from Enugu (Father) but my Mom is from Abia State. So I can sort of grasp her dialect but as much as my father's dialect because majority of the people around me are from Enugu State so yeah.

And yeah your accent really does affect how you speak Igbo. Oka yeah I have lived in the south all my life so uhmmm. . . . yeah I have wee bit of a "Country Accent". Not like Mississippi or anything but you get the jist. That is why I can speak Spanish because any fool can say "No puedo" and get their point across. But with Igbo, it is like just pronunciation of one letter can change the whole meaning.

And also, I don't have too much support. Because yeah alot of people are cocky as hell. And who wants to learn from that person.

Some I'm like, I'll just be content in being able to hear Igbo then to speak it.

They are the reason why I don't and many of my friends raised abroad don't speak the language. Because are only made fun of if we try. I remember one time my sibling had asked my mom a question in Igbo. This lady went and called my best friend's mom and was just chuckling up. And so now he no longer attempts to speak it. All we do is get chastised for speaking it so why bother?

Igbo was spoken in my home. I can fully understand the language. I don't have any problem in hearing it. It is just speaking it that is the problem.

I say if you want to see how life with your lover would be like before you marry, go right on ahead.

But for me, I enjoy my privacy. Don't feel like given it up anytime soon. And like a lot of dudes just be messy. I hate a dirty place especially since I'm a neat freak.

And I don't do free services.  I don't cook, clean, or whatever with a 3kt Aquamarine Wedding Ring. hehehehe

Idk hotstep. . . . . but I have really given up in learning Igbo. Which is weird because I'm fluent in Spanish but Igbo I'm like, ermmmm. . . . NO! Like I have tried to learn and I have asked people on here to help but like yeah it was effective throughout the beginning and then it was like whatever.

As i heard, igbo is easy to read and write. just write it as u say it.

Yeah for a native speaker but if you are not one: reading, writing, and speaking is surely beyond easy. More in the side of hard as hell.

Yeah Ify. . . . . . Good Luck. I remember me last summer tryna brush up on my Igbo skillz. Yeah but I quit. Because I really didn't have any reliable person to teach me. Cause Idk why all these native speakers feel the need to be all cocky and shyte. Oka you know I grew up abroad so for me to fully grasp the accent is not easy. So they get all cocky like "Awwww. . . , you Americans" And blah blah blah. Which is why I'm so hesitant in speaking Igbo cause I know I'm just going to get chatised for it.

And like I don't have to much support so it is like "whats the point?!?". So I gave up. I'm alright in just being able to fully understand but to speak, forget about it.
