This same people complaining could be part of those discriminating against people for job base on age. You see, what goes around comes around. When it it is your time, you wail. I got no pity for anybody in this obodo naija. A country filled with cold blooded people. People who would join an oppressor to oppress you as far as their bread is buttered but quick to deafen the oppressed with noise when they get the same treatment. Move on women, , you are not the first neither will you be the last

Please, fibroid can't be contracted. Rather, it is an abnormal growth that can develop in any woman of reproductive age. Being a virgin or sexually active does not determine who develops it. Go to a gynecology clinic and get examined. Please, always educate yourself using Google .

Really? i believe that if he is and you are not, as long as you are both married or partnered for a number of years you should be entitled to All benefits or Atleast some benefits.

It's hard for people who aren't properly documented, i know these nigerian couple they had a child at home just because they are Afraid to Attend hospital and Doctors Appointments. the poor woman didn't even Attend ante natals till she gave birth. until i Advised that they should visit the A&E that the Doctors and nurses are not the immigrations. their job isn't to Arrest Undocumented individuals, Although i didn't know their circumstances. they didn't wanted disclose their postions to me.

I even offered our my NHS cards if push comes to shove

we wanted to know if we could use that procedure to give birth due to genotype palava but he said that the price at which pgd and amniocentesis is offered is outrageous. we may be going our separate ways afterall.

there are tests Available to determine if a child is down syndrome or not here in England, problem is it's not Always Accurate, before my son was born the doctors suggested the tests to which we declined, the doctor was %90 sure that my son would be down symdrome, but he was wrong! the child is now 5 years old good looking boy just like his father grin**jokes** this is also one of my reasons of not taking the genotype issues Too serious.

thanks! i am Always on meds. it can be difficult but i have no choice.

Is the test you used amniocentesis? How much did it cost you there in england.

I am sure that if it were possible to do genotype testing to avoid bringing a child with Down's syndrome into the world, many people would do it.

But for Sickle-cell, a simple, inexpensive genotype test exists, that prospective parents can take, to avoid bringing SS children into the world. That is why in this day and age, it is sad if parents still go ahead deliberately to have SS kids, when they could have avoided it.

If you are bi-polar it would explain why you have been giving such strange responses on this thread. Please take your medications. Accept my sympathy on your condition.

Please help. Like how much could the inexpensive testing be done? Where can i get it please?

You can't stop him. He has to decide himself......at times it takes a divine touch. Decision alone doesn't work, especially when the person is addicted.
Just pray for him, and don't stop advising him about the dangers and side effects.

Though I've seen some old men smoking......and they are still strong. I asked one when he started smoking(He should be in his mid 70's) and he said he started when he was a youth.
There are some that do not smoke nor drink, and they still die young. I'm not saying smoking is good. I'm just trying to make you look beyond the person's smoking habit and accept him.

Thank you. I have accepted him but I feel I can do something about it. That's the only thing I don't like about the person. He is an amazing personality

Please nlander I need you guys help.
I'm dating a catholic right now n am about to marry him, I'm scared of becoming a catholic member cos of my background ( the church am worshiping with), we believe in gift of the holy spirit and his presence in us.
I dislike their method of worship and their believe.
I don't know, how i will cope with him cos of his church...
...
... please mature advice.

Why not discuss with him and tell him what you just said now. If it doesn't work, you move on and he does same. Don't go into marriage with deceit. That is how problems are created from start. It is not a must that you must marry him. Just tell him exactly what you told us, if it's okay with him, fine, if not okay, you must then choose either to become a catholic or forget the marriage. I repeat do not go into marriage with ulterior motives.

Politics / Okorocha Bows To Pressure, Restores Assumpta Avenue Name by onyinyenwadigbo(f): 3:46pm On Dec 27, 2017
Imo State Government has bowed to the superior force of the Catholic Church and restored Assumpta Avenue street name. The government action came barely a few hours after Vanguard hit the news stand with growing tension generated by what some respondents called “the unwholesome renaming of Assumpta Avenue. Confirming the restoration of the street name, the Commissioner for Information, Professor Nnamdi Obiaraeri, said that it was never government’s intention to rename the said strategic road, which he claimed spans from Assumpta Cathedral and terminates at Warehouse Roundabout. “Assumpta Avenue is symbolic for both religious and historic reasons in Imo State, and these facts are not lost on the government and people of Imo State. All inconveniences occasioned by the initial oversight or error of wrongly installing a Street sign, suggesting a renaming of the street is highly regretted”, Obiaraeri said. In his own reaction, the Catholic Archbishop of Owerri Ecclesiastical Province, His Grace, Dr. Anthony J. V. Obinna, said that there was no need to celebrate the restoration of the street name by Governor Rochas Okorocha. “Catholics were already putting heads together to face the unwarranted and most uncharitable frontal attack on the Church, when he retraced his locus. His misdeed had already reached the ends of the earth before he did the needful”, Archbishop Obinna said. Answering a question, the cleric wondered why Okorocha wants to destroy everything that predated his administration, including Assumpta Avenue. In his own reaction, an Owerri based legal practitioner, Mr. Chikaodi Igbokwe, reasoned that “if a rabbit enters a hole with speed and jams a snake in that hole, it will reverse with a turbo speed”. While saying that any leader who plays God will certainly commit deadly blunders, Mr. Igbokwe also opined that “this mistake exceeds the allegation of slapping a Revered Father”. “After that rumour gained ground, nothing could save that government. As I said earlier, time will tell”, Igbokwe said. Reacting also, a Catholic Knight, Sir McDonald Ebere said: ” Rochas Okorocha has finally bowed to the power of Catholics. This is the beginning of the end and there shall be no end until the beginning ends”. Meanwhile, Catholic laity have declared three days of fasting and prayers in Imo State. According to an online directive, Catholics and their well wishers were asked to do this “for God to manifest His power in Imo State, and deliver His children from the evil leadership of Governor Rochas Okorocha”. Catholics were asked to begin the fasting and prayer from December 29-31, starting from 6am-12noon, while recitation of the Rosary starts 12noon. “Strict adherence to this call will go a long way to salvage Imo State. Our Lady will surely crush the ugly serpent that is raising its head in Imo State now. Catholics stand up to your faith and win this spiritual battle. God is with us. We shall live to see the end of this evil. The heavenly beings are greater than all the principalities here on earth. We will surely overcome”, the directive added.
