For the few muslin indigenes of the south-east or Ndi Igbo population, we all know why they joined Islam.

Now, this blanket analysis should at best be made for states having the two major religion who are like Nigeria itself . Example of such is Kaduna state who for the sake of balance and equity should have two competent persons from both religions ruling the state.

Until it happens to their sisters or close relations before they will believe that female travellers at times for genuine work / business purpose travel all over the country and sometimes have to lodge in hotels.
What we should all clamour for is the law that ensures cctv works in hotels just like banks and NIN is cross checked and used for room booking purpose. This will at least minimise this kind of evil being perpetuated in our hotels today.
