Steam inhalation wit silverbird or mentholatum helps relieve the congestion(add silver bird or mentholatum int a bowl or bucket of hot water and cover u both wit a blanket or cloth,pls b careful to avoid burns/spillage). U can apply shea butter(ori) to his chest and nose bridge after the inhalation and u can also use towel to mop his chest wit warm water b4 applying the ori.

Sabi mamas in the house I hail o, how are our LO doing?
Please make una help me o, 6 months old Zina has had a running nose for like 3 days and now he is coughing really bad, we went to the hospital yesterday and all we were given was vitamin C and Piriton. I used them both diligently but still no change, sleeping has been very challenging for him cos the as soon as he lays down the cough n blocked nose won't let him rest.

Please I need tips on the best way to handle this I really feel for him and wish it can be transferred to me. Sorry for my long story

the main reason I think pple discourage walkers is cos ur baby is so mobile n can lead to accidents so u really have to watch your baby well n d environment. but personally I think its OK. my baby enjoys his time in it. though they need to be carried out from time to time n allowed to play on d floor etc too.

for best walker I generally think u should get one made from very thick rubber.usually comes packaged in the big carton. not those cheap light ones cos those can break easily.
since your baby is on d big side you should Aldo check for the weight specs of the walker

Ma'am, you can also get him crawling knee pad, it's about N700. This will help with better grip on the tiles which can also be sometimes very cold.

My dear I was surprised myself we weren't up to 30 and I left @ exactly 11am, very well organised with very mature people. Me that went there very early had to wait almost 3 hours before they came and mothers didn't start coming till around 8am, those that got there at 10am were attended to also. Thanks a lot dear, he seems a little calm now.

Good day sabi people. Pls has anybody experienced itchy nipples while breastfeeding? My left nipples has been feeling dat way for days now. Rotavirus and pcv is 10k each in my hospital and we are to take it at 3 different times abeg i wont mind any hospital around Abule egba, ijaye, agege area that has cheaper prices for these two immunisations. Thanks

About the itchy tips no idea, experienced mum's will help handle that.

We got the 2 injections today on special request @ LASUTH for N14,400. Was told Rota is just 2 doses while the other is 3 while the others are free. I have no regrets for going that far all the way from Igando. Service delivery was superb.
Now nursing high temperature and a very cranky baby, after 1 injection each on both legs.

OK. But why is that people are saying that they are employing, the news as circulated every where. I just received a call that I should take the printed one to Lagos. Am just confused not to waste my transport money.

I don't think this is true, I just left the SUBEB office now and they claim not to know anything about openings. Saying they have had many people since morning coming to drop CV'S and wondering where they got the info.
I left disappointed, just wasted my time and transport.

@Opeasho, how are you? I've noticed that my discharge/smell is gone. If yours hasn't do not worry it'll go. So many people experiences it as I read on baby centre. All the best

Hello wonderful mothers in the house. Please I need help o, had my baby approximately 7 weeks ago and I am still having slimy discharge(stinky lochia), I noticed like 4 days ago it became really smelly and has since remain like that. Called my Doctor and he didn't seem worried saying as long as it's not heavy n bloody it can be normal,
That gave me a little peace of mind but I would just like to know if there is anyone who has experienced this before o because I am not comfortable with the smell @ all and I am not a dirty person. Thanks
