backnbeta: The common man will see it but will not touch it. They'll put more than enough in Aso rock, allocate to themselves and the rest they'll give to their family and friends
God is our hope; let them keep the equipments and let God keep us, that's all we can hope for God doesn't fail or disappoint. An ever present helper in the time of trouble. My God is enough. The government can chop the equipment if they like, if they like share it for themselves alone, hoard it or sell it, na their problem be that. God will judge them all. |

iammo: so let me guess as a business man, perhaps you administrate a business and a family, so you would decide to own more empty ICUs than needed? Government is not a business organization that exists to make profit. As a responsible government, you prepare for the worst. There's nothing like empty ICUs in Lagos. All public medical facilities and government hospitals in Lagos are over-crowded and under equipped! You already have shortages of ICUs, having more especially at a time like this is a no brainer. When else would it be needed if not for situations like this. Is it when the world ends you will need it? |

iammo: cant you reason properly, the world has 8 billion people yet 300,000 got infected with 8000 fatality,.
so you want Lagos to own more multi million ICU unit for a pandemic with less impact The world has 7 continents, 6 has been infected. 300,000 "reported" cases you mean, what about the unreported ones? You see, you're reasoning "properly" but i'm reasoning way better than "properly". Maybe you should try it! |

Can the dead praise you, can those in the grave speak of your wonders? Only the living will praise your name, and a broken and contrite spirit you will not turn away. Heavenly Father, into your hands I commit my health and safety, and all those connected to me. Keep us all safe under the shadow of your wings. For whenever I pray Lord you're near me, whenever I call Lord you're there, I'm not alone because you neither leave nor forsake me, in the time of trouble you will hide me in your secret tabernacle where no disease or virus can approach, and keep me in the light of your glory where no darkness or evil can withstand. Eternal God, Jehovah, The Wonderful Creator, The Giver and Sustainer of Life, The Almighty God to whom nothing is impossible. I and those connected to me one way or another, and all those I care about are kept alive and well in the power of your name today and forever. Bleep you Coronavirus. Jesus is Lord! |

Nomanlike: Good morning Nairalanders..
There's this gal I want to break up with. She has always been kind to me and we loved us. But the thing is I'm a graduate who's trying to put his life in order and I don't think I can afford anything called concrete relationship right now.
She's in 200 level and you all know how these students girlfriends can be especially when we are not assisting them financially.
At first I thought it was a fling until she got serious. I want to remain focused and not have any gal emotionally attached to me. I want to break up with her but the thing is she loves me so much (I know cos she let me read chats of niggas asking her out, picks every call if we are together and speaks with freedom and she tells niggas I'm the main guy)
She might not understand if I tell her the reason for break up is I want to stay fully focused and not think about my gal taking dick etc.. Brothers how best can I break this news to her ??! Smh, simple thing, just tell her you don catch coronavirus, na she go run by herself , free you straight to japaaaaa |

voltron14: Not true.
You cannot quarantine all incoming travelers.
The best you can do is request they self-isolate and institute a fine should they be found outside.
No country would quarantine thousands of incoming visitors - none.
Yoi either close your borders or suggest self-isolation.
You only quarantine confirmed cases. Oga who told you so? See all this rubbish this travellers from coronavirus countries are doing they should go and try it in North Korea. From airport straight to firing squad. Las las when Corona do Southwest strong thing like he do Italy, southwest governors go get sense by force |
