You go there for education. Countless non-graduates. Your degree from here is worth squat over there, unless maybe you're a first-class graduate. I know someone that was a chief matron at Luth, she left about 10 years ago, she got over there and still had to enroll courses, do exams and get certification before she could practice over there. Today, 10 years later, she is miles ahead and doing one million times better than she could have done if still in Nigeria. She has her own house now and has gotten citizenship too. She has moved all her children over there. They are schooling and doing great. She came to Nigeria about 4 years ago, guess what for, to struggle to collect her pension of about 25 years in service. Your corrupt naija system wanted to chop her pension money. She had to fight to get it. Last 2 years, she had to come again because the pension she struggled to collect, was no longer been paid. She had to come again to sort it out. Maybe they were praying she was dead so they can eat her money. Nigeria is a shit hole.

Hello dear nairalanders.

Please I'm going through a state of mental confusion.

Currently i have approximately 20 million and 300 thousand naira in my bank account.

I have two thoughts.

1) I am 25 years old but I'm not a university graduate, i only have ND (National deploma) from a polytechnic In Edo state, Auchi precisely.

I would have become a graduate years ago but after my "ND" years ago, i refused to go back to school and i decided to hustle for money.

Most of my classmates in school back then are all graduates but all the same, looking at my bank account now, i have no regrets.

So this is what i plan on doing.

1) Can i further my Education In any university in the United States with the money and plan on staying back after my degree, for the fact that I'm 25.
Will that be advisable?

2) should i stay back in Nigeria and use part of the money to build a house In my hometown in Benin and use the rest for business?

3) Is there a chance of going to USA and start all over again, look for job.
Will the money be enough to rent a house, foot some bills untill i see a job in the USA.

Note i choose USA only because it's my dream country, I'm not scared of the traveling ban because I'm 100% confident that it will be taken away few months from now.

Please i won't be replying any mention or questions.

All i want is to take note of good advice.

I already know a reliable traveling agent.

Please other suggestions are welcomed apart from mine.

People with N3m or less have traveled to the USA and succeeded big time. You have N20.3m. The best investment you can ever make is investing in yourself. If you're sure of your agent won't dupe you and can get a student visa for schooling there, you better fly there. You can be schooling and working part-time, in 3 years, you graduate, do your masters, marry one white girl get your stay and enjoy the good life for yourself and your generations to come. They will thank you for taking that bold step and you will be happy with yourself. Invest the N20m where? Invest in this shithole that is full of uncertainty, no security and anti-business government policies huh

Dictator Buhari will soon devalue the naira after destroying the economy, let's see what your N20m will be worth by then. People abroad are praying it happens, so they can send $10k home and build house in banana island with it cheesy
