Alwaysachick:It's not about me being too sure or not too sure. It's about what the Supreme Court is and what it represents, the final arbiter! They delivered judgment and it is final, whether that judgment is correct or not. The Supreme Court cannot review a case it has already delivered judgment on. It could review another similar case in future that comes before it and deliver the correct thing, but this old case is a forgone issue. They already fined the APC lawyers 60m for daring to put the Supreme Court in a self-compromising position. They might drop a sledgehammer on PDP lawyers for not withdrawing the request for review after they set an example with those APC lawyers. Those guys will definitely get a stiffer penalty, so that no other lawyers will dare ask the Supreme Court for review of its judgment again. You wait and see ![]() |
Alwaysachick:There's nothing to prove again because judgment on the matter has already been delivered. Ihedioha is just wasting his time and money. He should save it for 2023, same thing with Lyon. |
Sunnymatey:To reverse their judgment will make them the most useless and incompetent supreme Court in the history of the whole world. Why would they do that to themselves. Even though they know they did a terrible wrong, they will rather die and maintain status quo than to reverse it and become the laughing stock of the world for centuries to come. Na one chance Ihedioha dey so oooh ![]() |
Another 60m fine loading, if you know, you know ![]() |
itsme01:You finally did something right, you described yourself in one paragraph ![]() |
Vice president Buhari dey this table President Kyari has cow ruga matters to attend to, you guys can wait till 2023 abeg |
itsme01:The less privileged you can educate are those as dumb as you ![]() |
[s] itsme01:Abeg just change your monicker from itsme to itsmumu gawwddd, end of story, I only like to discuss with intelligent people. Shift one side abeg, let intelligent mentions come in. |
Malcolm123:Losing 2400 soldiers in 18 years = 134 soldiers (approx) per year = 11 soldiers per month. That is still a very good statistics military wise fighting on enemy soil, and enemy territory. And considering that the Taliban has suffered heavier casualties on their side, probably over a hundred thousand but trust the western governments to downplay the figures. How many Nigerian soldiers has bokoharam killed in Nigeria (their own country and territory) in the past one year? Going by all the news on the media etc, it is definitely more that 2400, being slaughtered back to back in their own backyard. Yet you are worried about the US military losses, no please, worry about Nigerian troops and may God help them and save them from the incompetent government directing their affairs. |
ojobek:Al Shabab never ruled Somalia as the government in power. The Taliban was the ruling government in power (not government supporter, or government agency) in Afghanistan. Big difference, can't compare the 2 ever. |
winterfell007:No, i'm a pragmatic optimistic person, hope for the best but prepare for the worst. It appears to me your sense of reasoning is faulty if gloom and doom emission is what you see all the time. See an optician to fine tune your vision ![]() |
mvem:Get your facts right. The USA are not negotiating for peaceful withdrawal. Is the Taliban holding US forces there hostage? The USA negotiated for peace between Taliban and the democratically elected government they (USA) helped install after toppling the Taliban government. The Taliban wants US forces to leave, so they can take over again and they cannot take over if US troops remain. So they negotiated that US should withdraw forces on the condition they Taliban will not topple the current government through use of military force and allow for peace. And it favors them, because they know they can takeover by the next elections since Taliban is actually very popular among afghans due to their hardline religious stance. They are islamic religious extremists and fanatics and hardcore followers of Islam and its ways. So they will win by the next elections, and the other conditions is that they won't allow their country to becoming training and breeding grounds for terrorists when they get back power, which was the main reason they were toppled by USA forces and coalition troops. Afghanistan was the terrorists training ground and camp sites for many of the terrorists groups in the Middleeast, including Alqaeda that attacked the US and US interests across the world. So it is a win-win for both parties if they abide by it, and you can see Trump already said if the Taliban doesn't honor the agreement then they will be coming back with more powerful forces and turn Afghanistan to another dustbin war site like it has been for the past 18 years. I doubt if Taliban wants that to happen again. No other country in the world in modern times can do what the US did to Afghanistan, occupy another country and dictate their affairs for 18 years. And nobody or country could say jack, even Europe dey follow them for back with support like boy boy. Now they are withdrawing and withdrawing on their own terms. Forget, na real superpower USA be. |
itsme01:You know nothing about nation building and your comment is very dumb! The prosperity of any country depends on the strength of its military. How rich a nation will become depends on its military might. Do you think it's by coincidence that the richest countries in the world have the best military forces? Do you know that the areas of the Northeast where there's no proper government security have automatically become poverty zones for the people at the mercy of their terrorists oppressors. Taliban was the ruling government in Afghanistan Afghanistan before America invaded the place and pushed them out of power. Was boko haram the government of Borno, Yobe etc and all the other NE zones they are fighting to conquer? Smh! The kain people wey dey dis forum sef |
mvem:Was it whatsapp rumor that made many Nigerians invest in MMM, even after being warned by CBN it was a scam? It was not rumor that caused it, it's the same heavy problem facing this country --- stupidity! Was it rumor that made people vote Buhari again the second time, even though there's was really nothing to write home about the first term? That should show you that there's lot of stupid people in this country. Rumor or no rumor, they will jump at any lies that tingles their ears. |
Rebelutionary: |
Commentor:Very ignorant comment! Don't you know the Taliban was the government ruling Afghanistan before the US invaded there? So how can you mention boko haram, a terror group formed by jihadists in the north to conquer Nigeria for Islam and compare them to the Taliban that was the ruling government of their country fighting to retake political power in their country after they were toppled by outside powers with jets and bombs, not by votes or elections? Smh ![]() Lostz:you have sense sir! |

mvem:Oga it's not social media that makes anyone to drink and bath with salt water. It is the stupidity of those doing it. Even outside of the ebola situation, many Nigerians bath with salt due to religious influences, pastor, imam, or one spiritualist said put salt in water to ward off evil spirits and they do it. No more incidence of ebola but some people are still doing such. |
YorubaKinging:Pay attention to the highlighted. This is exactly why the Coronavirus is VERY DEADLY, it's an airborne virus, meaning if it bonds with air particles it can move anywhere the wind goes and infect people along its path. Yet some people are treating this virus with levity. A virus that kills people within weeks, even HIV doesn't kill people in 3 weeks, it might take years, but this one is killing the infected so quick and some people say the virus it's just an ordinary flu. The earlier we start to admit we have a big problem in our hands, the better. A problem acknowledged is a problem half solved, but if we continue to live in denial of the inherent risks this Coronavirus portends, then we will have ourselves to blame. By now the government should be shutting down schools, to protect the children especially, and any large social gatherings till further notice. By now, the government should have been distributing free protective wears to the public, especially those using mass transportation, and they should be taking other critical public safety measures. But they are not prepared, they're only making mouth. Not until when the virus has spread to over one million Nigerians before they start their fire brigade with water approach. This virus is not the kind of thing you play with, you fight it fire for fire from the beginning. Your ability to defeat it depends on your efficiency in cutting off its spread. If it can't spread, we win. |
I can never trust any government in Nigeria, including the LASG! They should stop overhyping themselves abeg, dem sabi lie too ![]() |
The number one liars in this country are the government. Social media is filled with lies no doubt but i'll rather take my chances with social media than with any government in Nigeria who themselves are expert lying machines ![]() |
donbachi:Amen! Division is the answer. Restructuring, true federalism, one Nigeria, all of it na scam! |
eyinjuege:Kids over there have a fighting chance because (1) they have quality public health care, and (2) a government that values it citizens. We have neither, we have a terrible public health care system, and we have a failed government led by president Kyari and figurehead vice president buhari that values cows more than human beings. So the kids here are at the mercy of mother nature, and nature can be brutal, nature sometimes don't pity anybody, nature sometimes loves to kill the weak and helpless. I once rushed a patient to emergency at LASUTH, that day it took over 1 hour to see a doctor in Emergency, the person I brought was writhing in pains and in tears. I was just like then why is it called Emergency when you can't see a doc Only God knows how many people have died like that waiting for doctor immediately. See in this country, if you don't have money for private hospitals, if you want to rely solely on government hospitals, just pray your illness is a minor simple thing like malaria because OYO is your name. Even private hospitals here are nothing to write home about. They're all about money. That is their priority, not the patient. |

The only group of people I really pity in all these happenings are the children. Innocent children that deserve to live a better life and great future. But what is this country giving them to start their lives with? A Coronavirus outbreak. Nigeria is a shithole abeg. No child deserves to grow up here. They should be in better advanced countries where they will be well-off than here. |
77up:Suspicion valid! |
FarFromAverage:Never trust a "country" like Vietnam. 'Cured' could mean 'assassinated', just like in North Korea. |
YeeboMuslim:2% fatality rate, meaning let's say if 7 billion people got infected, like AT THE LEAST, 140m people are sure to die, correct? And FYI, how many countries had MERS or SARS? The coronavirus is already on the 6 habitable continents, and only less than 300 military staff, researchers and government scientists live in Antarctica otherwise the Corona Virus Virus would have reached there too. So a mutated airborne virus whose current strain has no cure and has reached 6 continents within 2 months is a joke to you? |
YeeboMuslim:Oga there's a huge difference in both countries. The infected in Israel were detected before entry and quarantined at entry. But in your Nigeria, the infected has already spread the virus around for 2 days before his case was even IDENTIFIED! The people he has infected are busy going about their lives silently spreading the virus unknowingly because they don’t even know they have it. What is happening in Italy will be a child's play to Nigeria. As it is now, it's as if half the Italian population is already infected. Their government was sleeping on duty, just like our own here. |
Become a manufacturer! Find something to produce and sell. Or find a producer or manufacturer you can become a distributor or retailer for. Since you already own a store, you can sell it there and also hire marketers to push and sell your products on a commissions sales basis. |
