My cousin's elder brother waded into the matter and he told his brother he has no intention of putting me into trouble and that he will be an ingrate if he fail to pay the loan since I assisted him despite subtle opposition from my wife. He later called to apologise for not fulfilling his promise to start defraying the loan right from October last year. He confessed that the weddings of his brother and that of his brother in law actually cost him much. He promised to start paying the money back today. True to this promise, we went together to the bank today and he transferred 350k into the account and also promised to pay 80k every week from February. The accounting officer further assured me there's no cause for alarm as payment tenure is one year which will start reading from March 1, 2019.
I had to really pray and get my pastor involved, I couldn't tell my wife anything because she'll say she told me. I just pray he continue to pay, I learnt that if he is faithful to the 80k/week arrangement, he'll pay up everything by October.

The moment this virus hits Nigeria, we stand absolutely zero chance. This might just be the end of this country. To even make matters worse, we don't have a government.

If it hits without early detection, Nigeria will be a ground zero "Resident Evil Umbrella Corps facility". We won't stand a chance. Worst hit would be Southwest, as most travelling to and from China use the Lagos Intl Airport more than any other place. And if it hits the Southwest, it will spread across Nigeria very fast, first to the East, Southsouth, North and then Middlebelt. It's not funny anymore. The projections don't look too good. God have mercy!

Many people don't realize that this virus is more deadly than Ebola because it is an AIRBORNE virus, which means it can infect a huge population of people very fast, unlike Ebola that could only spread via physical contact alone. This virus is in the same league as the mighty BLACK DEATH that nearly wiped out half of the population of Europe some centuries ago, the BUBONIC PLAGUE. This has to be the most ignorant comment I have ever read on Nairaland. The virus is just starting to spread across the globe, the high numbers in China is because China is ground zero. FYI China just got commended by global health bodies for its fast detection and coding of the virus but as dexterous as China is, they are struggling to keep the virus spread contained. Had this disease started from Africa, maybe over 100 million would have been infected by now. They are giving you heads up to prepare yourself for the grave dangers ahead, telling you death is coming like the GOT white walkers with their uncountable undead army, but what do you do, you turn it into a di** measuring contest but the reality is yours is the smallest of them all, like a tiny matchstick. No need feeling funky when the virus has not even hit, wait till it gets here and maybe you get infected, let's see whether you won't prefer and wishing to the heavens to be a patient in a John Hopkins Hospital in America or a Cambridge Hospital in UK, or a Beijing Family Healthcare hospital in China or a AIIMS hospital in India, rather than be a patient in LUTH, Nigeria. Even your president can't live without flying to hospitals abroad. As powerful and advanced as America is, they just declared the Corona virus a public health emergency and will stop people from infected places from coming into America, British airways has cancelled all flights to and from China, China has put the city of Wuhan on lockdown, my Chinese friend says things are starting to look scary for them over there. Do you have the kind medical facilities those countries have, do you have the kind of scientists they have, do you have the kind of high tech they have, do you have the kind of responsive government they have, do you have the kind of border protection and screening they have, do you have the kind of medical emergency systems they have, do you have the kind of epidemic control systems they have, do you have the kind of human monitoring, tracking and trace systems they have? Noooooooooooooo!!! They were even being nice to label us high risk countries. Do you know the virus has a 3 weeks gestation period where no symptoms appear in the infected people? The real label would be to call us an "Umbrella Corps Ground Zero" because if the virus hits our shores there will be a massive epidemic that could kill millions within a few months. I just had a traditional wedding earlier this month. I'm not based in Nigeria. I provided all the finances for the wedding before I arrived Lagos. Everything listed to be bought for the wedding I provided all. To my surprise wedding that was suppose to take place in a hall had to take place in a cramped sitting room. No food, no drinks, no DJ etc. What did they use the funds for? I don't know. I asked questions and no answers given. To be fair to her family members, I didn't give money directly to her parents or siblings. I gave the funds to my wife to be.

Surprisingly on the day of the small wedding, her uncle was accusing me of not providing money to organize the wedding properly. My heart sank. I look in the direction of my wife to be and couldn't believe what just came out of her uncle's mouth. Whereas I provided money for everything. The wedding prayers went ahead and we were joined together.

After the dry wedding ceremony I began to ask questions but my new wife couldn't give me explanation. Fast forward to last week I was looking for money I kept in my drawer and couldn't find it. I decided to just keep quiet and watch. I set another trap. I had some US Dollars in my wallet and exposed the money for her to see. I went to the shower and lo and behold my new wife removed the dollars from my wallet. I got dressed after shower and we went outside to go somewhere together as my driver was in the car waiting. As we were going, I opened my wallet and saw the dollars gone. I blew a whistle right there and she denied it. I asked driver to return home. I had my parent and siblings at home on that day but I can bet my life on them. I told them what's going on. My new wife was all over the place and shaken. I refused to talk to her. I confided in my mother and explained how I set the trap for my wife. Surprisingly my wife started making moves. She planted the money all over the place which I saw as she was doing. I pretended I didn't see her. I refused to talk to her. All of a sudden she confronted me and attacked me that I suspected her to be the one who stole my money. She started saying she stoop so low to allow herself to be ridiculed in the presence of my family. I confronted her with evidence and she began crying and blaming devil. She has done series of money infractions that I couldn't list here. She fights me for money on daily basis since we got married. No money ever enough.

This is a woman that I gave a car to already and spent so much on to be comfortable. I just bought her another car to be given to her on her birthday. On the day she stole the dollars I had just given her 100,000 naira pocket money for the week. She's been crying and begging for two days saying it won't happen again. She has refused to eat.

Here is the bombshell I just confirmed she's now three weeks pregnant. I can't trust my life with her at this juncture. I'm leaning towards divorce. I'm too scared to be with her. She's too greedy.

Wait till she kills you to inherit your money, then your eyes will clear. That pregnancy might not even be yours. Better run a DNA check.
