Hi all,

There is an urgent need for a food vendor/supplier in my company. The company is a relatively small one located in Apapa GRA with about 20 staff.

We urgently need a very good supplier who cooks very well and probably close by Apapa or can easily find her way to Apapa between 12 noon and 1pm mondays to fridays. The food also should be affordable; may be in the range of 200 Naira per plate.

More gist is available for any interested applicant.

If you interested or knows any one who is/will be interested, then please can contact me through a reply to this post, my e-mail address: opesar1@yahoo.com or through this phone numbers: 01-773-1552, 545-2905, 474-2779, 8506624 between 8.00am and 4.30pm mondays to fridays. My name is Opeyemi Sanni.

Thanks.

FamilyRe: Boyfriend Spends So Much Money On Stay-at-home Mom by opeyemi(m): 4:29pm On Mar 17, 2006
Mamaput asked a good question that has been ignored. If these people are Nigerians, then we may be able to give the right advice because we can easily relate with the culture and life style.

But in all, if I assume that they are Nigerian, then i will like to advise you thus:

If you are not satisfied with doing what you are doing i.e. pay the bills you are paying probably feeling that you are paying more than your boyfriend, then politely discuss it with him in a manner that will not get him angry.

If not, then dont border about his mum and whatever he givers her. that is his own business so far as it is not affecting your relationship.

Thirdly, if both of you wants to get married, then make him do it as soon as possible and leave the appartment for the mother and her husband. If there is no marriage, then pack out of the appartment and let the relationship continue the way it was befor you moved in with him. Your anger will continue to grow when you see the guy still giving money to his mum the way he does.
SportsRe: Any Juju In Soccer? by opeyemi(m): 3:26pm On Mar 17, 2006
Really I'm not so sure IF there's JaZ in football or not. All i know is that my friends in the secondary school who are footballers says yes to it at times as a result of there experiences. And I also know that sometime ago during Nigeria-Ghana 2000 nations cup in lagos, Nigeria succeded in scoring goal and winning the game only after Kashimawo Laloko went inside the net and removed something. He said that the senegalese has planted JUJU in the net and no goal can go in until it is removed. We scored immediately at the resumption of the second half of the match i.e. after the JAZ was removed.

But I cant still say yes/no to the question.
FamilyRe: Please! Help Me To Find Her! by opeyemi(m): 5:12pm On Feb 28, 2006
Hi Luci,

In nigeria, the only place you can go that can probably help is "on-air". You either go to a TV or radio station.

The number of people on the forum such as this may not really be able to help even if they are willing. Bet sure that we are willing. wink The population on the forun is very small compared to the population of Nigeria and in a country like this, people in that age bracket does nt really visit the internet. It may take years before word of mouth could achieve anything if you go by this forum only.

Yes we have heard and will surely get in touch if there's any information that can help. But sorry, you didnt give your contact infor; how do we reach you?

FamilyRe: My Friend's Fiancee Is Pregnant For His Father! by opeyemi(m): 4:09pm On Feb 28, 2006
I will really like to agree with seun but its a pity not entirely.

The only reason why I will not continue with the relationship or actual marriage is that:

1. I am not sure of the kind of affection btew them. what if there is some level of love? then it may be difficult if after the resolution that they both meet and continue the affair.

2. How are my sure that the lady really loves me if she can be going out with me and still seeing someone else (whether my dad or not)?

3. How are my even sure that apart from my father and I there is no other one tapping the thing?

4. There is no way she (now being my wife) will not see my dad (her father-in-law) after we are married or that something will not bring them together somehow someday sometime and the affair can be triggered again even though they break it up totally now.

In short, for me, its no go area. I cant continue with the relationship.

Please tell your friend to just disemback entirelly totally because its totally unsafe if he wants to live long.
I mean, if it is someone else not my father, then I may consider it. But my father, it is too close (the opponent is too close and the war could be too fatal).

CrimeRe: This is Barbaric! 11 Year Old Set Ablaze in Lagos. God Have Mercy on Us. by opeyemi(m): 6:10pm On Oct 25, 2005
I think the thing should be tackled from the root cause.

Of couse it is a very hororful thin that these people have done. Though i've not seen the tape but have been hearing of it. I dont think I need to see it b4 feeling sad about it though.

What I will really profer is that something needs to be done to nigerian society and notjust the muderers of this boy only. You may not want to blame these people if you know what has been happening in the last 2-3 yrs. I am in support of outright purnishment of ritual killers but not of a small baby like samuel (pls dont crucify me yet). Paying evil with evil is not right but it may solve the problem to some extent. I could remember that sometimes ago in Ajegunle (A.J. city) when armed rubbers were on rampage. It was this bungle justice thing that reduced the menace.

Why I said you may not want to blame this muderers (I'm not saying they've done well........infact, i'm against it) is that: kidnapping and ritual killing has been on the increase and the govt is doing nothing at all. The police has more or less been on the support of the ritualists (they are even accuse no 1). We have had stories of 1-chance that involved police men. In lagos, 1-chanceos the name given to danfo buses used for dkidnapping purposes.

Sorry guys, i've got to attend church service. I'll give you full gist later when i'm back.

enjoy!

Can you guyz just forgrt about the people around you 1st and see what amount of love u have for each other. If u both love each other so much, then u will solve the problem together yourselves.

If I may ask: If God says He is going to bless u with a lot of wealth, will you tell Him 'no' ask Him to wait just because of what people are going to say? Or if you are given a US green card without any boggle will you reject it just for what people around you will say?

Ore, leave da runs and face live face2face. You know what is best for u, go for it.

RomanceRe: Keeping Secrets in a Relationship by opeyemi(m): 5:37pm On Oct 24, 2005
@ hot-angel.

by 'telling it all', i dont mean saying everything at a go. It is not even possible to say it all at once. You may as well become a talkactive if you do that. It is as events unfold and situations warrants. But make sure you tell the 'relationship-threatning' once before he/she hears it elsewhere

cheers

RomanceRe: Why Do People Close Their Eyes When Kissing? by opeyemi(m): 4:27pm On Oct 21, 2005
I think it is by default that we close our eye when kissing. Na God create us so! If not who taught you to close his eyes when kissing.

I think the thing comes by intuition. It is like a new-born baby who just feels a breast in his mouth and begins to suck. Na hin mama teach am say na suck hin go suck abi na who? The baby could have equally start chewing with his gim like that.

A beggi na God jare.................
RomanceRe: Keeping Secrets in a Relationship by opeyemi(m): 4:07pm On Oct 21, 2005
like scorpio said: it depends on the kind of relationship. But for me, I think the thing is to be open and fair to your partner. Why in the heaven or on earth should you keep anything from him/her. Of course you may not be able to remember all at a time. But as you go on and discussion arises, then tell him/her everything you ccan remember and the issue(s) been discussed. I mean tell all secrets. It helps the relationship and also builds it.

If you refuse to tell all secrets in a serious (marriage to-be) relationship, then what will happen if/when your partner then finds out? Will you lie to cover it or tell the truth then? Even when the truth is told then at that time, it will never be thesame as telling it before then.

There is nothing as good as telling it all in a relationship.
RomanceRe: How Do You Tell a Guy You Don't Like Him? by opeyemi(m): 2:59pm On Oct 21, 2005
Tell him "Idont love you any longer". Pls be blank at this and never see him again. Make sure all the blocking tactics that is known to you is used- Never pick calls etc.

Of course harsh (infact too harsh) but it will eventually help him.
FamilyRe: My Brother's Wife Wants to Sleep With Me by opeyemi(m): 5:40pm On Oct 17, 2005
Or say you brother don pai (God forbid) and she seems to be the last resort.
Pls still dont go to her again for the cash but look else where.

I'm damn too sure that you will get this money without going into her. pls. beg if it comes to that or go do conductor self instead of going into her.

If you dare go into her, u will lose more than you will gain..... Yuo may be caught, she may get pregnant, it may be a plot against you, both of you may falling love/lust and not be able to stop it easily.... (pls count the consequencies).

Stay blessed and remain sharp and prayerful.

FamilyRe: My Brother's Wife Wants to Sleep With Me by opeyemi(m): 5:32pm On Oct 17, 2005
Bro, I beg u, pls dont do it. Layi has said it all.

go to someone else for the cash or go and carry pon-pon to raise the cash. But why must you go to your brother's wife when your brother himself is there.

Just thinkin......... what if the story goes like this: That your brother is in jand and u requested for money which he gave thru his wife here in naija' bust she wants to heve u to release the dough.

My response to that is that you should halla ur brother that she has refused to release the cash and try as much as possible to paint the picture so bad that he should not want to send it tru her Ask that he send it thru other means but not her. Questions may caome up or he may ask his wife. Decline to tell him the real story (and be sure she will never say the truth).
I believe that, depending on how well u handle the matter, you will get the cash without going to her again.
CareerRe: Nigerians Studying Abroad: Would You Go Back Home To Work? by opeyemi(m): 6:09pm On Oct 07, 2005
There is no place like home that's what people say. For me, I dont want to go abroad to be enslaved. I want to go and have the whole freedom in the world to move out anytime. I will surely come beck to Nigeria and contribute to the success of the country. This country shall be great, I believe and I will be a part of the greatness story. That is my plan.
PoliticsRe: Ojuelegba War: Nigerian Soldier vs. Nigerian Police by opeyemi(m): 1:11pm On Oct 07, 2005
Thank God all these are happening almost at thesame time. Pls. dont be suprised at my thanks-giving for this disgraceful act displayed by our police force and the army. I'm just thanking God that now there may be a solution to the age-long corruption and unchecked excessive use of power by the military and the para-military in this country.

Sometime ago there was the case of the Apo killings in Abuja. There was also the case of a One-Chance bus robbery involving police officers and other devilish and immoral acts of the police that we all know. Now there is this one again adding salt to the injury. There has been several complaints by the people of the police to the authorities and nothing has been done to address the issues. That is on the police side.

Also on the side of the soldiers, the case of Agbero vs soldier was just some few months ago. Nothing decisive was done to investigate the cause of the matter and find a lasting solution to it so that there wont be a re-occurence. (Whether the agbero/soldiers were wrong or right is not the issue now). Also, there have been several cases of brutality by the soldiers unleased on the civilians; some reported and some others not.

I think the time is ripe for the federal govt. to take a decisive step and do something drastic to address issues in the military and policy forces. Actually in all the armed forces of the country. For me, the situation is getting out of hand. If care is not taken, these use of power may grow to the extent of toppling the govt. again. (God forbid).

Pls. I need someone to say something. We need to do something as Nigerians.
FamilyRe: Housewife or Working Woman? by opeyemi(m): 5:55pm On Jun 30, 2005
I hate "housewifing". The idea irritates me.

I like women working but not in that description. I will prefer her working for the family (family business). But you see, if the situation warrants her working outside the family runs, no matter the qualification she has, she will submit to be a teacher. At least being a teacher will give her some time to cater for the family. She can at least go late and come back early whin the situation calls. She may even stab the jab at times that it couldnt be avoided. Being a teacher will also help groom the children because she can train them better in terms of academics and morals.

Of course I will be wealthy so the issue of her working for money will not be the case but just doing something to keep her out of the house.
