Get her divorced. You are even a sinner keeping a prostitute called wife at home. Divorce her and get rewarded from your Lord.

MashaAllah but is congregational prayer compulsory for the ladies ?
No, it is not. It's better for them to pray at home than pray in the mosque. But it is good if they decide to pray in the mosque but with the permission of their husband. And Allãh knows best.

This is wrong...

My Bible tells me not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers.
Muslims are NOT unbelievers. If you say that, then your Bible is telling a very BIG lie. We believe in oneness of God, in Jesus christ and all other prophets of God. We don't worship anything aside God, Almighty. What else do you want us to believe in? And who told you Fayose is even faithful to his religion? Let not religion separate us. We are 1 Nigeria.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Seven Important CV Parts That Needs More Attention by opeyemitee(m): 8:06am On Aug 20, 2017
Nice job. But sincerely, there is no generally acceptable way of writing a CV. A serious organization who knows what it wants will not bother about the way you write your CV, it's what you can offer. For instance, I've seen a first class graduate of a reputable university who had a well written CV but when invited for an interview, he could not respond satisfactorily to the questions put to him, the whole thing seemed strange to him. And do u know why? The guy actually employed là cram Lapor while in school.

Education / 10 Grammatical Blunders That Nigerians Make Regularly That Have Become Normal by opeyemitee(m): 7:58am On Aug 20, 2017
10 Grammatical Blunders Nigerians Make Regularly, That Have Become Normal.

1.Trafficate/Trafficator -

The correct word is "Indicator", when it's on a vehicle. When you use your indicator, the verb is "to indicate". The word trafficate doesn't exist in English. Trafficator is an obsolete word, used to describe an obsolete device on the side of a motor vehicle.

2. Night Vigil -

A Vigil means a period of time when people remain quietly in a place at Night. So, really, there's no point adding Night to it when Vigils are known to mostly hold at Night. You may just want to call it a Vigil.

3. On/Off The Light -

There isn't much to say about this grammatical blunder apart from the fact that each time you make that statement, make sure you add Switch to it. For example; Switch On the light/Switch Off the light. Can be used with any other object that can go On or Off

4. Reverse Back -

Reverse already means; to change the direction, order, position, result, etc. of something to its opposite. So, if an object is in motion, it can be reversed. And when it is in reverse, it's surely coming back to it's initial position. No point adding Back to it.

5. Next Tomorrow -

Most Nigerians generally use "Next Tomorrow" when speaking English. Please, stop murdering the English Language. The correct thing to say is; Day After Tomorrow.

6. Cattle Rearer -

The word; Cattle Rearer does not exist in proper English dictionaries. Instead, you may say Cattle Herder. That's a more appropriate way of referring to people who raise/tend to cattle or other ruminant animals.

7. Convocate -

Convocate is an archaic English word which means to call together or assemble but Nigerians mostly use it when they're graduating from tertiary institutions. Proper word is Convoke.

8. Plate Number -

Most Nigerians including traffic law enforcement agents use the word Plate Number, which is very wrong. Number is supposed to come before Plate. So, basically, it is called Number Plate and not the other way round.

9. Barb/Barbing -

This is very common among Nigerian men. Barb or Barbing does exist in the English dictionary but it has nothing to do with haircuts. You can go have your haircut at the Barbershop but you cannot Barb your hair because Barb means; a sharp projection near the end of an arrow, fish hook, or similar objects.

10. Short Knicker -

Knickers ordinarily mean loose-fitting 'short' trousers gathered in at the knees. The British call it Knickers while Americans call it Shorts.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Stop Mocking People Who Work 9-5jobs by opeyemitee(m): 10:41am On Aug 19, 2017
KillerBeauty:
It makes me laugh when I hear people bashing others who decide to work 9-5 jobs. Don’t get me wrong owning a business is great and the monetary reward are amazing. But some people like to switch off at 5 or 6pm.

Most people especially here on Nairaland, make it look as if working for someone means you are not being ambitious enough. They forget that it takes time to actually start making money from being self-employed.

Apparently so many people want to bear the name entrepreneur and rush into the ideal dream they have been nursing in their mind not knowing it entails a lot to really achieve that name entrepreneur. The most important thing in life should be doing what you love.

What I’m getting at is that not everyone wants to own a business and not everyone wants to work 9-5 jobs. We all have our purpose in life and shouldn’t make others feel bad just because their view point is different.

Some people think that been an entrepreneur is a sure way to be financially free while working for somebody means you are living a mediocre life. But that is simply a fallacy, I know business owners who are struggling to make ends meet while some salary earners are making more money in their jobs than them.

I know a lady working for a multinational firm here in Lagos who is earning 1.2million Naira a month, a job that have given her immense exposure and great confidence in her skills. I also know of another lady who owns a beauty shop with 5 staffs under her payroll but yet can’t boost of half of the first lady salary in a month. Yet some people won’t hesitate to talk down on 9-5 jobs.

We shouldn’t allow other people opinion influence our decision. If been a bus driver is your thing go for it. whether you choose to drive your own bus or work for a transport company is totally your choice and don’t let others put you down because of that. If you are not happy with your 9-5 job you can quit and do what makes you happy.

If you are taking your 9-5 job as a form of apprenticeship before starting your own business that is awesome but you shouldn’t mock others who are there for the long haul neither should you term them unambitious.

The crux of the matter is that if everybody decides to own a business who then will work in these established companies, who will help run the business. If we are all the same it will be a boring world.

People need to concentrate on themselves and worry about where they are going in life and not try to put a downer in other people happiness. Our differences are what makes this world amazing.

Henceforth, If anybody creates a thread on how to be an exceptional staff, or how to navigate normal office life or build great relationships with colleagues and bosses in the work place rather than typing “ be your own boss”, or “team self-employed” or quoting “your salary is the bribe given to abandon your dream and build other people dream” try and encourage people.

If need be, tell them how to create a dual source of income but don’t put them down because of the choices they have made.

I love this piece.
