Politics / Re: God Will Bring New Usman Danfodiyo To Clean Up Nigeria - Ciroma by opokonwa(m): 4:21pm On Mar 30, 2012 |
Sadly, the North feels that power is their 'birth right' and feels greatly outdone and 'great injustice' with the reality of an iyamiri Christian on the Driver's seat. So, we are continuously being entertained by statements of frustration, despair, devastation and disapproval by the likes of Ciroma, Lawal Kaita, El-Rufai, Atiku Abubakar, Northern Governors and even Malam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi. Well, Power belongs to the Almighty God and HE wills it to whomever HE wishes. The North can only bite their lips n frustration and utter more bizarre statements. We are all enjoying the Drama and Comic relief each time their Leaders utter statements 1 Like |

Ciroma and all his Northern sympathizers are obviously suffering from POST TRAUMATIC LOSS OF POWER SYNDROME I think Obasanjo is already a modern 'Danfodiyo' cleverly wrenching power from the core North and giving the South their best shot at power. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: UEFA Bans Arsene Wenger For 3 Matches & Fined Him €40,000 For Improper Conduct by opokonwa(m): 3:53pm On Mar 30, 2012 |
Na today? UEFA's rules are simple: DON'T COMPLAIN! OUR REFEREES ARE INFALLIBLE!! SEE NO EVIL, SAY NO EVIL!!! I am not an Arsenal fan but it's amazing that in this era of Freedom of Speech and Freedom of Expression, UEFA is running a TOTALITARIAN & DICTATORIAL Leadership that will not hesitate to punish anyone that makes any unflattering remark about its officials and/or methods. It used to be CHELSEA FC (Players and Club alike!) Then Mourinho (REAL MADRID FC) Then Arsene Wenger (ARSENAL FC). UEFA = ADOLF HITLER = NAPOLEON BONAPARTE = GENGHIS KHAN = NEBUCHADNEZZAR = PHARAOH Sadly, BARCELONA FC seems to be the favored and pampered pikin 2 Likes |

Romance / Re: Falling In Luv With Someone Who Advises You In Ur Relationship. Why? by opokonwa(m): 12:25am On Mar 28, 2012 |
Well, in my own case, I said 'Hell No' My best friend in Uni had this habit of dating multiple partners; this later burst his bubbles with his No.1 official school date. I stepped in as the voice of reason and moral conscience. Bam! From being the voice of reason to being the emotional shoulder to cry on, all sorts of subtle moves by this girl to switch Bf began. I guess my integrity got the best of me 'cause I resisted all subtle entreaties. Then came the obvious verbal plea; 'why don't you get turned on when we are alone' See me see Lakayina! I mumbled some excuse 'cause I was both embarrassed and flabbergasted. I guess, the victim becomes attracted to the adviser 'cause he/she is emotionally vulnerable at the time and begins to see the adviser as flawless. This particular girl kept trying all sorts even after I had left Uni with the most embarrassing being "Can I sleep with you for just one night? " "Just once, after that, no more " I don't do one night stands and worse still, hate being on the receiving end of such advance. Never showed my shock but calmly and diplomatically explained to wooer that I can't go that route 'cause I don't do 'temporal things' and once the 'dip' is tasted, there would probably be other implications. I valued her courage though. And we remain friends till today. Guess every man is different. Ironically, the Bingo of a friend, felt I took advantage of the situation all the while. I now understand why water and oil can't mix. |

I love what is happening between Nigeria & SA. Jacob Zuma (Paedophilia ) just stepped on the wrong toe. High time Nigeria took resp for protecting its citizens and restoring the Nigerian Pride (or whatever is left of it). Save for the strings of horrible leadership that Nigeria had (laced with coups, counter-coups, tribalism & corruption), Nigeria would have been way ahead of SA. The potential for Greatness is still in our econonomy. |
