Central borrowing is not as a result of restructuring rather an ineffective system, the question is if you think the issue is the center then what's wrong with the states, restructuring is not actually a problem, regional government caused the civil war, never again, instead of regional government, breakup is better, resource control even there is no responsible government at all level will result in wanton waste, at least FG is only wasting crude, others would waste gold, Uranium, etc. All of which we shall need someday when the country get it right

There is no going to be any such restructuring in any recent time, not anytime soon, allow the state to control their resources, what have they done with the allocation they get, the federal government is only using hydrocarbons resources currently, what have states like Bayelsa done with the oil money they had recieved, why does states keep borrowing with nothing to show.

What responsibility has the state, the federal government is in charge of security, in charge of police, run many federal universities, schools and many more, in charge of electricity generation, the highest any state does is build a university, employ teachers in secondary schools, where the students pay enough school fees to see to teachers fees, build mediocrity, in road and flyover, only few states had built airports when we talk about restructuring I ask what of your resources is FG using, just oil and gas, perhaps we don't have those, let the states brainstorm and build their economy.

If you institute resources control, south east states can have alternative electricity given our high deposit of hydrocarbons especially natural gas and coal, and damn capable rivers, that will impoverish the rest of the country thereby increasing the population of south east you find out you didnt actually solve the problem becuase the resources would be depleted,

Nigeria is currently not ready for resource control, what about state police hell no, because most state would have more indigenous as police and this can get terrible becuase it can easily turn to tribal confrontation tool.
