Politics › Re: APC Accuses PDP, Atiku Of Sponsoring Smear Campaign Against Buhari by opribo(m): 8:08am On Jan 02, 2019
The type of smear campaign APC used on PDP in 2015, if they use that same tactics on them, there would be crisis across the land.

We know APC are desperate power seekers and we know also that they are not gentlemanly enough to concede defeat. They are such that would rather than let go fr the love of country would rather burn down our nascent democracy for their evil selfish desires.

We appeal to them to please let peace reign, too much bloodshed already in their administration. They see the handwriting on the wall and know it that Nigerians dont want them anymore. We can do better without them.
They are confused, selfish, wicked, occultic set of people.

He has finally been settled.
In a matter of days Nigerians will vote out the useless, clueless, shambolic party and be free again.

Nigerians will rise up in unison and let the world know that this nation cannot be manipulated by two men.

We will terminate their evil agenda and get Nigeria working again.

If the man were an exemplary statesman would it not have been nice to sign the electoral bill. Do a single term and ensure our democracy flourishes.

Since he is not but the opposite a sneaky blood thirsty Sharia fighter he is hell bent on pulling the country down with him. We should prepare seriously for the worst because this one not the type that will walk away for the love of country, Bubu Jubrin is ready to die there. He has no other handiwork thsn feeding on tax payers funds.

That's why I am happy Atiku is in this race. He knows him well so there is no hiding place, Atiku will give him fire for fire if he tries anything funny. That's why. They are perfecting the rigging game as their only hope.

All is well in the PDP. Our task ahead of 2019 is to send Jubrin Bubu back to wherever he came from be it Sudan or Daura.

Our eyes are wide open now, we cannot continue with a man who has never smelt the four walls of a university. We want to follow those who understand how to lead a nation.
Atiku is the man for the job. He is tested and ready.
Politics › Re: See The Atiku Banner That Got Nigerians Talking ( Pictured) by opribo(m): 11:39pm On Dec 30, 2018
It will be a suicidal mission for Nigerians to make another mistake of voting in bubu and his APC marauders for a second term.

Just go through the same reason that was given for booting the trash away in 1985 is repeating itself. Read Gen. Dogonyaro's speech then.
Useless blood thirsty party, blaming everybody but themselves.

*This was 1985. Any semblance with 2018?*
*_Please, read and decide._*

*REMEMBER GENERAL JOSHUA NIMYEL DOGONYARO?*

*Throwback: The Coup Speech That Overthrew BUHARI in 1985:*

I, Brigadier Joshua Nimyel Dogonyaro, of the Nigerian Army, hereby make the following declaration on behalf of my colleagues and members of the Nigerian Armed Forces.

Fellow country men, *the intervention of the military at the end of 1983 was welcomed by the nation with unprecedented enthusiasm.* Nigerians were unified in accepting the intervention and looked forward hopefully to progressive changes for the better. *Almost two years later, it has become clear that the fulfillment of expectations is not forthcoming.*

Because this generation of Nigerians and indeed future generations have no other country but Nigeria, we could not stay passive and watch a small group of individuals misuse power to the detriment of our national aspirations and interest.

No nation can ever achieve meaningful strides in its development where there is an absence of cohesion in the hierarchy of government; where it has become clear that positive action by the policy makers is hindered because as a body it lacks a unity of purpose.

It is evident that the nation would be endangered with the risk of continuous misdirection. We are presently confronted with that danger. *In such a situation, if action can be taken to arrest further damage, it should and must be taken.* This is precisely what we have done.

*The Nigerian public has been made to believe that the slow pace of action of the Federal Government headed by Major-General Muhammadu Buhari was due to the enormity of the problems left by the last civilian administration.*

Although it is true that a lot of problems were left behind by the last civilian government, *the real reason, however, for the very slow pace of action is due to lack of unanimity of purpose among the ruling body; subsequently, the business of governance has gradually been subjected to ill-motivated power play considerations. The ruling body, the Supreme Military Council, has, therefore, progressively been made redundant by the actions of a select few members charged with the day-to-day implementation of the SMC’s policies and decision.*

The concept of *collective leadership has been substituted by stubborn and illadvised unilateral actions,* thereby destroying the principles upon which the government came to power. Any effort made to advise the leadership, met with stubborn resistance and was viewed as a challenge to authority or disloyalty.

*Thus, the scene was being set for systematic elimination of what, was termed oppositions. All the energies of the rulership were directed at this imaginary opposition rather than to effective leadership.*

The result of this misdirected effort is now very evident in the country as a whole. The government has started to drift. The economy does not seem to be getting any better as we witness daily increased inflation.

The nation’s meager resources are once again being wasted on unproductive ventures. Government has distanced itself from the people and the yearnings and aspirations of the people as constantly reflected in the media have been ignored.

This is because *a few people have arrogated to themselves the right to make the decisions for the larger part of the ruling body. All these events have shown that the present composition of our country’s leadership cannot, therefore, justify its continued occupation of that position.*

Furthermore, the initial objectives and programmes of action which were meant to have been implemented since the ascension to power of the Buhari Administration in January 1984 have been betrayed and discarded. *The present state of uncertainty and stagnation cannot be permitted to degenerate into suppression and retrogression.*

We feel duty bound to use the resources and means at our disposal to restore hope in the minds of Nigerians and renew aspirations for a better future. We are no prophets of doom for our beloved country, Nigeria. We, therefore, count on everyone’s cooperation and assistance.

I appeal to you, fellow countrymen, particularly my colleagues in arms to refrain from any act that will lead to unnecessary violence and bloodshed among us. Rest assured that our action is in the interest of the nation and the armed forces.

In order to enable a new order to be introduced, the following bodies are dissolved forthwith pending further announcements: (a) The Supreme Military Council (b) The Federal Executive Council (c) The National Council of States. All seaports and airports are closed, all borders remain closed.

Finally, a dusk to dawn curfew is hereby imposed in Lagos and all state capitals until further notice. All military commanders will ensure effective maintenance of law and order. Further announcements will be made in due course. God bless Nigeria.

orbgoblin:
islamic fundamentalists are the worst kind of enemies to be facing on a battle field. they never give up. Soviets couldn't defeat them in afghanistan, the USA couldn't defeat them in the same afghanistan, Iraq, Somalia, Syria etc. you'd think with all the sophisticated technology in warfare these days they should be a thing of the past but they are one of the biggest problems the world has today.
The Nigerian situation is not the same as the type you described. To understand what is happening properly one has to do a detailed study of when, how and why boko has turned out this way.

Recall we have had real fanatic situations in the country in the guise of maitesine movement devoid of politics which was adequately exterminated.
The Shiite movement under El Zak Zaki could easily transform into a real threat too like boko but because government agents and politicians are yet to infiltrate that is why it looks contained.

Back to the issue of boko, the reports say because their leader Mohammed Yusuf was killed that is why they took up arms. I beg to differ a bit
The real boko haram never took up arms to ask for a sharia nation rather if at all anything they were only fightng against the govt for their perceived injustice.

Records shows that the violent and political boko started in October 2010 during GEJ swearing ceremony. Although, that bombing was attributed to MEND. The architect of that ugly episode quickly found out that MEND was not a good avenue to use to discredit and make the country ungovernable since the real MEND had severally denied any role it the bombing it was a case of a greedy man who was used. So they quickly changed gear and used a ready tool in boko as a vehicle to achieve their aim. If you look critically deep you will observe it is still the same northern cabal doing it.

Whatever is happening right now they know it very well amongst themselves. That boko is still waxing stronger against bubu's claim to eliminate it within months is not alien to those who know.
Only those involved know what they are doing and only them can decide when they want to end it.

For the main players boko has come to stay since it has become to them a formidable tool to sway elections.

To really end boko a very strong external force is needed to stop it once and for all. Perhaps then and only then can we unmask those we eulogise today as the real sponsors of boko.
Lest I forget, one ISIS leader got a visa to come to Nigeria, till this moment, Nigerians never got to know how he got the visa, his destination and mission here in Nigeria. In the last administration a popular hotelier linked to several top government in kano was found to have a large cache of arms warehoused in his property and linked to boko till date we never got to hear the end of the story. Should we talk of the drama of kabiru Sokoto arrest and dramatic escape and recaprure or the lack of substantial evidence in Nguche the Nyanya bombing suspect case or the text sms exchange between a serving senator and boko. Or should we talk about the fact that someone said an attack on boko was an attack on the entire North.
The answer is blowing in the winds.

There is no need for any sane person to ever join issues with the paid goons in APC. Thier work is to argue blindly and abuse anybody who opposes their evil government injurious policies.

They claim to be anti corrupt yet corruption lives and breathes inside the government. All cases of corruption in the government are not even given a thought.

We will vote out the useless party. Even they like let them hoard all the PVC cards or even import their brothers from Chad, Niger and Sudan to come an help them we will thwart all their rigging plans.
This kind of killer party must never ever be given a second chance talkless of 16 years. They will bury this nation alive.

You still don't get the point that the man occupying our Aso rock is no longer bubu, let him come out and prove himself to rest the matter once and for all.

By the way we are fed up with the entire APC shambolic government. So they must GO in 2019 and if they refuse as we anticipate they would then the people will protest.

No true Nigerian leader will sit back and do nothing while Nigerians been slaughtered daily like cattles by blood sucking demons called boko or herdsmen. No real Nigerian leader will be comfortable to watch majority of Nigerian family wallow in abject poverty while they sit back and call it their hard luck.

Is it Buhari or Jibrin? Is it back to daura or Sudan?
The cabal can decide wherever or whatever they want to do with their effigy.

All we are interested in right now is to restore the great image, honour and respect the president of Nigeria commands globally and that starts with sending the impostor away from our Aso rock. He has become a national embarrassment and a subject of ridicule. That's not acceptable to Nigerians atall.

It would have been nice to gather all these people to work on how to improve Nigeria's economy but to think that all these people will be wasting tax payers money to campaign for the re-election of a world celebrated failure. That's a shame.

No, our Nigeria is too precious to us to be left in the hands of a visionless fanatic. Who has vowed to spread sharia all over Nigeria.
