This problem is peculiar to more 50% of applicants.

Let's just be hopeful that the website will be upgraded to accommodate more applications.

The website crashes nearly Every hour, if you're logged on within that crashing period then there is problem of re login.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Solve npower.gov.ng registration Issues Here by opson2016(op):
Npower website designers should have designed something similar to websites like Nigerian Navy, Army etc that receive millions of applications during registration without persistent crash like Npower currently have.

This website should be overhauled. Applicants faced more frustration than satisfaction

This thread has shown that the website has given applicants more headache than they were before the commencement of this online application.

I had to switch off my phone due to persistent calls from applicants who faced unresolved challenges of system break down in the course of registration.

That's to tell the government and the world that the major problems facing Nigeria are unemployment and baaaad leadership .

I implore President Muhammadu Buhari to direct those behind this website to re design so that users can have better experiences in the course of registration.

It is really a trash on them brou for such an excuse. Don't we apply for airforce, army, police, even immigration?. They have no excuse at all than to work on their server and expand the route. If at the end of this ppl are victimized because of the poor website, it will a blow on them.
Pls don't give an excuse for them. It is a shame for how many days today since they noticed this error.
One thing I noticed is:

The site has too much codes. .

User experience is all we need not just beautiful site.

A simple website will get this crashing issue solved

It's unfortunate !

Browser:

Firefox

ATTENTION PLS

This is to tell you that I don't charge for any of the assistance I render.

I started this yesterday when i type "npower.gov.ng registration problems" and discovered huge problems lie ahead .

We've solved some problems while others beyond my power were directed to npower contact us.

Some I've been calling me to ask how much is the registration: Please registration is FREE I'm not an employee of FG neither npower.

However, if you top up my Data (08065277758)or volunteered to top up my data out of volition I'd gladly accept .

But registration free and it's what you can do, follow the instructions, be patient just as you know the portal is heavily under huge pressure, mammoth traffic.

Thanks.

NPOWER
MY PROBLEM IS THE BVN REQUIREMENT BECAUSE I'M AFRAID OF BEEN SCAMMED. WHO HAS DONE IT SUCCESSFULLY? KINDLY LET THE HOUSE KNOW.
Nothing to worry about

The essence of BVN, in my view, is to detect multiple registrations...some people could apply for all the programs

Once you're registered with your BVN first time, you can't use the same BVN in another area on the portal again. It'd tell you BVN already used.

Aside that I don't think Dangote's daughter, Adenuga's son or any other millionaire could apply for this program neither a yahoo boy/ 419 .So why the palpable fear?

Already, it's a federal government programs and whether we like it or not FG has access or can access any BVN for "national security "

If one is applying for a program where #23,000 will be paid, why the fear about being scammed or hack.

In fact, your full name is even enough to get all your details.

On a lighter note, BVN is to detect multiple registrations

I av been trying to register since two days ago, my reg stopped at step four, for me to access d site to finish my reg today site has stopped opening. Any solution pls
According to report, the portal has received more 400,000 applications.

That's not to discourage you, keep trying But try in some minutes later if you can't access the site at the moment.

Better still, if you're using a laptop or desktop, try to close the page

Go to options to clear cache, cookies, history on your laptop.

Open a fresh page using a good browser operamini could be weak sometimes: Firefox, chrome, etc are better.

If you're using pad too, you can clear your cache and try again

Let's see what you going to have

Has anyone tried applying with bvn. What is the essence of the bvn? Is bvn not suppose to be personal?
Yes,it should be personal but I think they're using BVN to detect multiple registration in different areas.

A side that, I also think our BVN is in possession of CBN, AND the question now is: who owns CBN?

That shouldn't be a huge worry for applicants. They already have access to our BVN.
