On the 15th working day, i got a mail that my application wasn't straight forward so they needed more time to make a decision

July 2nd, Application Transferred to VAC
July 2nd, Travel Documents ready for collection.

Collected the passport today with my VISA intact.

1 US visa refusal (tourist)
1 SA visa refusal (tourist)

It wasn't an easy journey especially after getting the non-straight forward mail. I read so many articles about non straight forward mails and how it takes 8 - 12 weeks to get a response from the UKVI.I prayed asked God for a quick response, and i got my collection mail just after 5 working days.

To all those waiting for unconditional offer, CAS, TB Test, Biometrics and VISA, I pray everything will work out for your good in Jesus name.

I think they can update the form, because they have access, when you get there, enquire from the guy doing the assisted service to be sure before opting for the assisted service

someone suggest a copy of the page with that travel history, a letter to back, sign and date it and then can upload it under other category

On my application, I forgot to add that I travelled to Ghana in 2019, I only added my Dubai trip and my appointment is 10:30am tomorrow at TLS.

As it wasn’t stated on my CAS only submitted my bsc CERTIFICATE, bank statement, TB cert.

P.s: if you haven’t applied for your visa and you have money pls I beg just pay for PRIORITY. E get why.

Yes it does, as standard Visa processing time is 15 working days and you still have almost two months till September comes, but because of the delay at DMC due to volume of application, if you can afford it, you might want to consider priority especially if you can't handle the wait for standard processing time

I think the husband and wife knows who the primary applicant should be bearing in mind that the secondary or dependant should be the one who can work extended hours and whose skill will fetch more pay in order to make things easier financially

Please house, among husband and wife which is better to be the primary applicant.

In my experience, I will say don't do that because in some cases, after your biometrics, UKVI will debit you for embassy letter charge, so if the account is debit freezed, this debit might not be possible

Visa approved.

Some personal observations wt the application.
The TLS contact app tracking app was not functional throughout.
The applications were better tracked via online. The online track status may be the most quickly updated for now. Online
"Application transferred to VAC" first observed around 11:30
"Application received by VAC" first observed around 14:42

Via email:
Application assessed and document ready for collection came in quick succession around 14:40.

Summary, it is better to track online than via email.

Yes, with HND you can start Masters program in most of the UK Universities, Google it, you will see the ones that accepts HND as part of their entry requirement for a masters program

I am a January intake that was denied visa in February because my sponsor did not reply to the confirmation email sent to them( God factor). The God factor set in because I thought I can not be denied because I am a state sponsored student but God showed me his existence. Someone from the chief of staff office saw the email from the embassy but decided to look away because she thought the letter is not genuine.

The school decided to issue me a new CAS after a new letter of introduction was issued by the said state government. In all I give God the glory.

it has never been too late i say this here. 20% of student visa refusal most often come from the carelessness of some agents. we need to be smart and ensure we follow the process from the beginning to the end, don't put all your confidence on the agent. also make research and be proactive yourself.

why i said the above is that my agent forgot to upload an important document (my school certificate) during uploading of document in the visa application process, and he submitted it. I thank God i checked the checklist myself after i was given before biometric. i had to go inside and then paid 11,700 just to upload that single document.

it was because i knew the stress mentally i had passed through, so i was too extremely careful about everything the agent did and said concerning the whole process.

please guys be careful and smart.

So grateful to all contributors on this group and the gurus in the house for sharing their advice and experiences. which were very informative and useful.

My advice: keep the faith in God and trust Him for favour, be truthful and precise in your applications, follow all reasonable advice on this platform, don't lose hope and surely you will also testify.

You can start counting before CAS is issued especially if your school requires proof of funds to issue CAS, if your school doesn't require proof of funds to issue CAS, then you can start counting as soon as you get cas, but that way, you will waste precious time, so my advice for you is to Lodge funds and start counting 28 days while you're yet to get cash, as for me, as soon as your tuition fee deposit is confirmed, move on to deposit and start counting for 28 days POF

You are to upload what is stated in your CAS as evidence used to obtain admission, TB certificate also, that's why I made it bold, you will need to upload marriage certificate and one or two marriage picture if your married, you have these categories of documents to upload namely Financial evidence, studies evidence, sponsor evidence, family evidence and other

GoodMorning, I have been going through this thread for a piece of particular information and I haven't gotten help yet. I am very new to this process, so my apologies if I am asking dumb questions.

I have chosen self-service help for my TLC appointment and I will like to know the following:

- Do I need to upload any other documents apart from education and financial documents?

- Do I upload a scanned copy of the TB Test result from IOM?

- Is there a need for a passport photograph to be taken? if so, what size?

- What other things should I be aware of?

They're not paying to Canada or New Zealand, they're paying to IOM for the service, if they can let you correct passport number that was entered wrongly during booking or reprint certificate to reflect new school address, then I think it can work, exercise caution for those planning to use this hack

God is faithful, He's never late, priority is suppose to be 5 working days, though it took more than 5 working days, though it tarry, but God made it happen in his own time.
