You said something about ticking it and reuploading it to them. I thought I would give my passport and the check list to them on that day or am I supposed to upload the checklist myself before the biometrics?

check the checklist you printed, there's a place you're to tick for compulsory documents as what you're giving to support your application, I think they can be found on page 2 and page 4, tick them, scan it and upload under other category, though I don't think it's compulsory, but my school rep says I will have to do it

What if a person chooses assisted service, can you get a date for biometrics even without the Tb test and then
you can use the biometrics date as proof for them to facilitate your test?? I was at the IOM office yesterday and they said they only facilitate appointments for people that have deadlines to meet.

so sorry, there was error in part of my earlier comment, after paying IHS and Visa fee, you can actually book a date for appointment, it's when you've booked a date that you can now go ahead and upload your documents, so yes, whether assisted service or not, you can get a date for appointment and use it as a bargaining chip at IOM if it's possible.

hello, please go with your complete passport for your appointment, it will be taken from you and returned when they're done with it, also you need to take your checklist that you printed with you, there's a place you're suppose to sign, don't sing it yet, only tick the compulsory documents and reupload the checklist to then, it's part of the documents your submitting online, the two basic things you're to take to your appointment is your complete international passport and your checklist, but you can carry all your docs as back up in case they said there's something you failed to upload, I said complete international passport because you were talking about data page

Just go ahead and book your biometrics and also upload your documents before going for biometrics. Biometric dates are scarce.
Try going to IOM to get an earlier booking

Just don't forget to upload IOM certificate when it's ready before submission, go over your uploads over and over again.

Please for those who have gotten their visa did you go through any interview at the time of visa application till collection of visa

I don't think they're still doing interviews due to covid, but if your application is not straight forward, they will call you for credibility interview via phone

Dear all, my degree certificate and transcript was included on my CAS which I need to submit for UK visa application. My concern is I only have student copy of the transcript which was duly stamped and signed by the registrar but was watermarked as "' Student Copy, Official Copy will be required" This is the same transcript I used to get my unconditional offer and CAS.

Please can I submit the student copy transcript for Visa application? Even if I ask for official copy the school will only send it directly to Institutions/Corporate organization. Please advise. Thank you.

if you want the official copy, you can look for a private school owner or any registered organization owner you know and inform him or her that you want to send your transcript to them, get their address, go to your school and apply for it with the address of the organization or private school you've align with, when they finally send it, you can go and collect it from them, hopefully, only the first page which is not needed will be addressed to them, you can then go ahead and scan the copies that carries your grade

Basically, you're to upload only the documents stated on your CAS as academic evidence or evidence use to obtain admission.

yes na, if you're walking in, while I brought the issue of premium lodge up was because when you're looking for a close date like the next day, you most times find out that only premium service are not yet taken

possible if you're ready to pay for walk in service or premium lodge, there are other services they render that will enable you do that, but I'm not sure you want to do that, because why not take your time to fill your application, go through again, then submit and possibly go in the next day for biometrics which will still only happen on walk in, premium lodge and other premium service turf

upload is done on TLS website and this can only be done after you've paid for IHS and Visa application

Good morning. Is this really advisable? I mean counting 28days when CAS is yet to be issued... I'm asking this cz I heard it takes time to issue CAS sometimes.

you were thinking of how to make use of the time you have in your hand, if you've the funds, I mean if you own it and have access to it, then why not Lodge it for count down, also, CAS statement issuance duration depend on the school, some takes less than 1 week to issue cas

yes you still have time, one thing you can do while waiting is if your funds is readily available, you can Lodge it now for 28days count, so that wen admission comes and you pay tuition deposit if applicable, then you wouldn't need to wait for like a month again counting 28 days, you will just send statement for CAS issuance of POF is a requirement to get cash with your school, also you can do TB test and if you happen to get offer for another school other than the one you use for the TB test, then you can go and reprint TB certificate to reflect your offer school, Tuition deposit, TB and 28 days count are the time consuming process most times

For date you will arrive the address, pick a day that is a week to your resumption, that is course start date.
Then for day that you will leave the address, pick a day that is a week after your course end date

Regarding this issue of the school rep holding onto his/her CAS statement because of their different view on benchmark to use for pound/Naira rate for POF, my school rep once told me to use 650 rate to Lodge my funds, then I told her I can't afford it that I plan to use 620, she said it's risky due to Naira fluctuations, then I told her not to worry that before I will use the POF for application, I will check the closing rate for each an every day of the 28days to be sure my Naira equivalent never goes below what Is required, then she said ok, if I can do that, no problem and that I should send it to her at the end of 28days to review, so I think he/she should make the rep see reasons, with understanding, two can agree.

It has been 3 days now, fidelity bank is yet to respond. Does anyone has experience with fidelity bank in Statement confirmation and how I go about it to get them confirm promptly.

if you can bear to, I will advice that after this case stage, take your funds to another Bank and start counting again, make UKVI nor go call them for the main show and they ain't there to pick o, not your portion ijn, but I will advice you ask them for reference letter when you're ready to upload for TLS appointment, so that it will further prove authenticity of your POF and may be no need to contact them for verification that they normally don't respond to in time

You shouldn't have waited this long, well better late than never, but now you have to force their hand, call HQ and express your displeasure on how unprofessional they've been, while will it take over 72hrs to confirm and reply? That was how one of these banks wanted to take forever to effect address update on my account after they've spelt my street name wrong on two occasions, I called HQ, Tweeted them and bug my account officer, HQ had to treat it and forward to branch to originate it. Please don't sit on your hands, force their hands

Please I applied for PG in derby and hull and I am working towards sept 22.

Not gotten any response yet. Although i have called them and they want me to be a little patient. I am also not totally reliant on their scholarships but happy to have it to relieve some pressure. I also applied for grants to be decided towards end of July.

So two things, I am expecting admission letters this month and secondly the decision on scholarship in July, even though I will like to begin to push for my visa when i get the offer.

Pls can I meet up with travelling in September at this rate? Should I also make the part-payment when my offer letter is released? And how does this tie to the scholarship decision?

if you can meet up with traveling in September depends on when your offer comes in, this is June already, and you probably have made application to this school like 2 or 3 weeks ago, which will suggest offer can come in any time soon, my advice for you in order to meet up with September departure is to book TB test now for July if you can, because it's one of the difficult thing to get now, try both Lagos and Abuja, try to get July, then if your funds is readily available, you can stand working towards counting your 28 days by mid June or late June, then when the offer comes, enquire about the bank with the fastest form A processing time for tuition deposit, you may even go to branches in Lagos or major cities that process form A within 48hrs, once you've been able to pay your part tuition and comes July you've done TB test, what's left is getting CAS after 28 days and proceeding for application.
