[quote author=akelicious post=80918442]Minister-designate and former Osun State governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola has described his appointment as a call to greater service and a challenge to exhibit and deploy his skill for solving difficult tasks to the nation’s benefit. The former governor said there was a huge task before all minister-designates, in view of the wide gap between current realities and expectations from majority of Nigerians desirous of improvement in their life and a secured environment. Aregbesola told Akelicious in Ikeja, Lagos, at the weekend, that it heart-warming to note that President Muhammadu Buhari had envisaged these expectations and had captured it in the ‘Next Level Agenda’ of his second term administration. He also said with the Next Level battle cry, President Buhari had already set the agenda for all minister-designates, and that what is left is for those selected to key into it and come up with achievable ideas and documents suitable for attaining the Agenda’s content. In his view, the widening gap between the poor and the rich, which has resulted in the falling living standard, was due largely to inequitable distribution of the nation’s wealth, where a tiny minority controls over 90 percent of the wealth, as well as endemic corruption. He called for urgent redistribution of the nation’s wealth in a manner that would significantly reduce the gap between the poor and the rich; a situation he noted was embarrassing. The minister-designate urged Nigerians to embrace the culture of hardwork, which he said builds a nation, while feeding on the nation without contributing meaningfully to her resources, depletes it. He said a situation where some people feed fat on the nation without contributing must be stopped for the country to be able to meaningfully deploy all its resources We need ur total submission sir towards this work |
[quote author=unstoppable51 post=79793918]From FeedMeJesus.com While deceit and lies are very powerful tools in the hands of the enemy, they are not his greatest weapon for destroying relationships, the family and the church today as revelation knowledge has multiplied on the earth that we live in. Satan’s greatest weapon for destroying families, supernatural relationships and the church today is found in the word “Strife.” By Strife here, I mean offences, disagreements, quarrels that leads to bitterness, anger and hatred, and cause divisions among us as partners, family members and church. “And there was a strife between the herdmen of Abram’s cattle and herdmen of Lot’s cattle; and the Canaanite and the Perizzite dwelled then in the land. And Abram said unto Lot, Let there be no strife, I pray thee, between me and thee, and between my herdmen and thy herdmen; for we be brethren.” Genesis 13:7-8 Abraham and Lot lived and did business together until they let the strife that arose between their herdsmen get to them also. Prior to this time, Lot living with Abraham who was obviously blessed of God, prospered greatly in his business to the point he had his own Cattle and herdsmen. But failing to curtail the strife that arose while it was still early and allowing it to separate him from Abraham cost him almost everything, including his own life. Lot allowed offences make him move out of the land God has previously instructed them to stay and went to live with the people of Sodom. A people that do not care about God or His Word. “And Lot lifted up his eyes, and beheld all the plain of Jordan, that it was well watered every where, before the LORD destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, even as the garden of the LORD, like the land of Egypt, as thou comest unto Zoar. “Then Lot chose him all the plain of Jordan; and Lot journeyed east: and they separated themselves the one from the other.” Gen.13:10-11 It took the mercy and grace of God for Lot and his two daughters to be saved in the day that judgement came upon the people of Sodom and Gomorrah. However, he lost his wife, properties, cattle and even his herdsmen in that destruction as a result of him separating from Abraham due to disagreements. Strife will make you pick offences where there is none. Little disagreements and quarrels like tiny drops of water suddenly becomes mighty oceans in your eyes. A simple correction in love will appear as injustice, hatred and wickedness to you. Do not give this a place in your heart. Always be on the alert against offences. By all means, settle every quarrel and disagreements amicably and do not give the devil a place in your heart by harbouring them. “Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.” Ephesians 4:31-32 Paul reiterated this in his writing to the Colossian church. “Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.” Colossians 3:13 Do not let disagreements cut you short from learning and receiving from whom you ought to. Do not walk away from the supernatural relationships that God has put you in or turn your back on your family and church due to offences. Guide your heart with all diligence and preserve it from this evil force that has separated families, relationships and even divided great churches. Always remember, together we can achieve more than we can as individuals. You are much loved! Hmmmmm this is what cause destruction in body of Christ today, offenses is the backbone of contestant |

[quote author=Hhenryy post=78433119]Gonorrhoea is the second most common bacterial sexually transmitted infection in the UK, but despite assumptions it can only be passed on through genital contact, new research suggests throat (oropharyngeal) gonorrhoea might be contracted through kissing alone. According to a study published in the journal Sexually Transmitted Infections , “deep kissing” (aka French kissing or kissing with tongues) might be a neglected route for spreading the infection among gay and bisexual men. Traditionally, public health campaigners have always advised people to reduce the risk of contracting gonorrhoea through condom use , but the new findings from a team of researchers in Melbourne, Australia suggest this advice might be insufficient. [quote author=gbigbega post=78433130]I understand people do get agitated at matters like this and all kinds of theory flies around. I just want to set the record straight that there was an attempt by RCCG to help him but obviously there is more to it than meets the eye. Perhaps the accommodation issue triggers his suppressed depression. While we grief for him, we will appreciate if we don't make it harder by blaming the church who actually offered to help. He was one of us lively and easy going, he left RCCG for Shepherd House in Apo for a while and he just decided to return back RCCG, then this happened. This is my conversation yesterday with a pastor friend closer to him. Please help spread the real truth. only God know the best |
I am in full support of that |
