@ Nigeria 1 This is the most pathetic thread I have read, It contains tribal sentiment of the tribe u arguing for. If you can make tangible the intangible consequences of the oil exploration and exploitation in the Niger delta and subtract that value from what ever amount you have been calculating; then you will know 40 million Yoruba's live a good life with 14,560 billion, They have the ability to still plant there crops, acid rain has reduced soil fertility, and affected fish habitats in the Niger delta, so man if u can cost those impacts u will find out Rivers state only receives a quarter of the figures you gave. To also remind you, try using you thinking faculty before you put stuff here ![]() |
u go wound ohhhhh ![]() |
onyinye2:Well thats exactly what the guys are cared of, definitely the western culture seems to over shadow the Nigerian culture: But you should also know most of the Nigerian girls over use their new found rights, the problem is evident in high divorce rates amongst Nigerian couples abroad. |
I think the Nigerian girls abroad get caught in the dilemma of too worlds (the western and the Nigerian); they adapt to the new society; which makes the Nigerian guys scared that girls are unstable and thus choose going back to Nigeria, I do not support this, but what can they do? |
@ Ibime They are out of ideas, rather than sit down and design a sustainable development plan thats based on resources they posses they are trying to assasinate the character of the Niger Delta folks as people responsible for their woes. Very funny indeed. |
I have seen the poverty in the north and would not wish it to my enemy, their has been a colossal failure by their leaders to harness their resources. greed and the blind desire to control others in a nation has brought them to this new parasite status. The poverty goes to show that if you reap where you did not sow or bear the impacts, you definitely cannot manage the produce in a productive manner. |
ACF just showed how illiterate they can choose to be, its unfortunate the north allows such leaders rule them. They lack the basic knowledge of Nigerian history and to think most of them aspire to lead Nigeria is disheartening. To place facts right: The Arabs in conjunction with Fulani and Hausa converts to islam took more slaves out of Nigeria than any other, only the gorilla war fare by the Tivs, and the inability of their horses to survive in the middle belt as a result of tsetse fly slowed their encroachment to the south. The Niger delta people where middle men, that took slaves from the Igbo hinter lands from the Igbo slave raiders. The Benin kingdom sourced most of its slaves from its Yoruba neighbors, not forgetting that the Igala's who are in the north/ middle belt raided noth Igbo land and surroundings for slaves; until they them selves where conquered by the Bini. link to the report : http://www.punchng.com/Articl.aspx?theartic=Art200807310294592 |
Well I have seen loads of criticism here on authentic results of a scientific research, I cant falsify the results as Nigerian elections are falsified; but would give my candid advice. Nigerian women should: 1. Accept her flaws in romance , sex and all that relates to it. 2. Try and learn from her counterparts that have score high; such as the francophone African ladies or better still from the best, Latina women. 3. They should approach bed skills with all seriousness. Well am out, I hope future research would show a reverse in trend, until then am heading for them Latina women. cheers |
@ francessby This research is genuine we had a thousand questionnaires sent out to a thousand Nigerian men in the diaspora and within Nigeria. Those with experience with Latin and francophone women scored them high and didn't think Nigerian women performed well, I would like to know the reason for this trend, we have some suggestions from the men but would appreciate the Nigerian woman's view so as to have a balanced conclusion. Thanks Please don't take it personal ![]() |
Thanks for your replies: This research was based on Nigerian respondents who have sexual experience with Nigerian and international women, Nigerian women scored very low in fore play and also low in encouraging libido in their sex partners. This research was initiated to determine some of the reasons behind high infidelity amongst Nigerian men, I believe it will to the best interest of Nigerian women to obtain the much needed skills before or during relationships and especially in marriages, so they can help keep the family fabric tight in Nigeria. @ moyola I like your dimension to the research: who do you think performs better in bed; the educated woman or the iya alaata? I will appreciate more contributions. And for interested guys:Latin American women came tops internationally, while in Africa francophone women came tops, followed by east African women. Nigerian women carried last ![]() |
When a people have little avenue to complain about social injustice and the system is skewed against them, violence is a natural option. The area boys in Lagos, Ibadan and the western part of Nigeria terrorize transporters collecting illegal monies, no body calls it militancy even when they fight for control. Northerners use political influence to steal our resources; I see it as social violence against the poor people in the Niger delta. You all criticizing the the movement can go sit down in the Sahara desert, long live MEND; long live the struggle and certainly victory is assured. |
Research has showed Nigerian women perform poorly in bed: I would like some contributions on the reason for this trend. Thanks ![]() P.S you would be contributing to further research |
This CNN report has lots of flaws, its not complete, the gay person interviewed looks like a transvestite, (mentally screwed up by nature). The pastor has definitely not revealed his story; he certainly imported his abomination from the west. But the question we all have not answered in Nigeria; a question the west failed to answer through their extensive studies from the 1950's to 80's on gay people : ' is been homosexual a mental ailment caused by genetically anomalies, social factors or personal experiences of the individuals as they grow up in life? We must ask this questions in our Nigerian society before we act, and if we must act will a strict law in Nigeria stop this negative trend. I must remind us all, homosexuality exists in Nigeria, take a look at our prisons and you will find a breeding ground. |
Samix, don't be hard on your self, do not allow a girl that evidently does not feel 10% of the way you feel for her towards you. Your first mistake was trying so hard to please her by quiting, second mistake was to assume that she was safe back in Naija, third mistake you are making is you think you can't get something better. Guy sufferings are lessons, don't allow your self to learn the lesson of loosing what you have worked for here, over any girl in the world. Get a hold of your self man and get your self another nice girl, and this time don't compromise on your gays ![]() |
You guys should stop been blind, have you ever considered the possibility of other cultures such as the ancient Egyptian having their linguistic and cultural roots in pre-historic sub Saharan Africa. Will any jew even think dear say he might have originated from sub saharan Africa or will any Egyptian say same, please wake up and be proud of your roots and build it up. |
Hey girl, you can listen to a lot of people telling not to make the move, my advice is don't allow pride come in your way, the only way you can move on without looking back is if you go over and tell him how you feel. However, you must watch out for his sincerity so he doesn't play with your emotions. I assure you no matter how it turns out you feel better in the long term. good luck. |
I have read through 90% of what has been posted here and I must its not surprising that 85% of the people would advice you to break up, well man it only takes someone thats been their to understand with you its not an easy decision. If you truly love your girl, it would never be easy, you would tell your self I did the right thing, but somewhere inside you; in the future, you would ask: Did I really do the right thing?. and some days you would want to go back and take the risk, but still reality seems to be greater than emotions (for most of us). I took that decision not too long ago and I must say I still love my ex after moving on; well I wish you the best, the AS SS thing is one of the challenges of been a black man. Make a strong decision. |
Well, Odili killed the sleep of a people in Rivers state, I don't expect him to see sleep, Odili's fall has not started, he must pay for all his atrocities. |
Sodom and Gomorrah was not built in a day, it took some for of acceptability in their society till it became a culture, it became so bad there that it was law for the citizens to grab strangers in the city for their acts, well nothing is really new in this world, its slowly happening again in the Uk and they are beging to brain wash the next generation to be gay, Bi, or just straight and accept the other as a normal part of life. Its a shame. |
I agree with Frag, the reason we have people in government taking decisions that are not productive to the people is basically the absence of people government links, with block headed presidential advisers that have no links with the people, how can the president create policies that affect the average Nigerian? Creativity from a leader comes from his grass root knowledge. Yaradua did not have a presidential campaign based on grass root like Obama, he was imposed on Nigerians and has played on our desperation and we have accepted him. What we are getting now is what we should expect, as time goes on he would become more detached, It is only Nigerian politics that expects the President to have compasion and serve the people; simply because the people did not count in his attaining political office. Finally, even with all the emails you would send to his box, Frag, you are not his constituency, the PDP officials are so don't expect changes. |
As a kid my dad told me folk tales that mostly gave lessons on respecting the elderly, I was also made to believe that if you do; you will live long. While growing up in Nigeria I was also made to believe that the gray hair on a mans head depicts wisdom. Now am grown up, not with gray hair yet but sensible enough to know that the generation that have control the politics and economy of our nation have failed us, just as Danjuma said some weeks ago. Well the questions I ask is: is wisdom too much to ask for from leaders like Obasanjo and Adedibu and other civilian and military leaders we have had? Will we also make these same foolish mistakes and bring the insults of the younger generations?, my fellow Nigerian which way forward to answering these questions. God bless Nigeria. |
