Hassanmaye:1000 was a lot before now, it won't even get you a liter of fuel anymore. Good old days a thousand naira fuel will get me 6 liters of fuel |
noobody:If you're on operational ground, it's allowed and if you collect paper (excuse shave) you can too. Only that you can't put on ceremonials alongside. But many a soldiers wear beards and it's very common. It's even more common in the Navy and army. |
senator2k9:No be you dey support autoconsult on that other thread..... Op deal with him at your own risk. |
Truthseeker10:Are you autoconsult? You're obviously reading to counter and bring faults and you're opposite of your moniker. |
There could be lots of causes to this. 1. Wheel Alignment Issues Car pulling to one side Uneven tire wear 2. Bent Rims 3. Bad or Uneven Tires 4. Worn Suspension Components like Ball joints Tie rods Control arm bushings 5. Warped Brake Discs (Rotors) 6. Wheel Hub / Bearing Issues 7. Drive Shaft / CV Joint Problems Especially if vibration changes when accelerating |
dederocs:I was respectful to you, seems your upbringing says otherwise. Have a nice life. |
ZombieDredd:I get your point and I'm not a politician. Neither do I have respect for them and like I always say, politicians make war, soldiers fight and die in it. Drones are definitely a game changer, no argument there. Yes, ideally, routes should be mapped, surveillance should be active, and units should have access to multiple drones. That’s modern warfare, and it’s where things are heading. But let’s not oversimplify it. Having drones and effectively using them are two different things. Terrain like jungle and marsh areas limits visibility even for aerial surveillance or patrol. Then there’s the reality of urgency. If a forward base is under attack, decisions are made fast. You don’t always have the luxury of perfect reconnaissance before moving. Sometimes it’s about immediate reinforcement, not perfect planning. Also, this is exactly where the gap between theory and reality shows again. On paper, everything is supposed to be mapped, monitored, and controlled. In practice then, things changes. resources, coordination, and real-time pressure don’t always align like that. So yes, speak truth to power about funding and equipment. That part is valid and true. But at the same time, we shouldn’t reduce a complex battlefield situation to “they should have just used drones.” It’s never that straightforward. |
dederocs:There’s a difference between lived reality and book reality. People keep quoting theory like war is a classroom. There’s something called rules of engagement, yes but those are written for controlled understanding, not the chaos of real combat. You’re told during BMT you must not shoot a defenceless enemy. For example, if an enemy is parachuting from a damaged aircraft, the rule assumes you don’t shoot until he lands. I remember this clearly when we were doing military law back then during BMT. You’re also told you can’t shoot an enemy who has surrendered. In theory, once he drops his weapon and raises his hands, you’re meant to capture him, not harm him. Now bring that into real life. In actual combat, nothing is that clear, tension is high, and decisions are made in seconds. You don’t know who is truly defenceless, who is pretending, or what threat is still active. That’s the gap people don’t understand. It’s easy to talk about spacing, mine checks, and perfect decisions when you’re not the one moving into an ambush or trying to reinforce your own men under fire. Real situations come with pressure, adrenaline, incomplete information, and responsibility. War is not a movie. It’s unpredictable, messy, and unforgiving. What looks obvious in hindsight is never that simple in the moment. When the jungle matures, even the lion will eat grass. |
LeeSmart:Coming from someone that won't even type YOU but U. Like I said, all thanks to cheap data and faceless forum. Enjoy it while it last. |
For those giving unsolicited advice from the corner of their rooms, saying “they should have done better,” you really should understand this first. It’s always easier said when you’re not on the front line. It’s easy to analyze and criticize when you’re not the one under attack. When you’re in that moment, when the enemy is right in front of you, everything changes. All your training, all the tactics, all the strategies you thought you knew… they can fly out of your head in seconds. What you’re left with is you and your instincts to survive. You and your adrenaline. And in that moment, you’re not even thinking about your country, your mission, or anything else anymore. You’re fighting for your life. You’re fighting to survive the next five minutes. So for those on the sidelines saying, they should have known the areas will be compromised, honestly you don’t fully understand what you’re saying. Maybe you’ve never been there. Maybe you’ve never experienced that kind of pressure, that kind of fear, that kind of reality. But if you ever have, even once, if you’ve ever been in a situation where your life was truly on the line, you’ll understand this better. Because in moments like that, logic fades. Tactics fade. Even training can fade. And what you’re left with is one thing, Your instinct to survive. RIP Colonel Muhammed.

LeeSmart:Is that all you got? Na cheap data I blame no be you. |
Jakumo:It's easier said when you're not in the front line. I'm as sure as hell that you haven't held a rifle before talkmore of firing one at the enemy but you're here giving unsolicited commercial on what he should have done right. Civilians and overdo. |
I will turn down the request. Stop been silly |
I feel bad to the fact that news like this..... Bombing, kidnapping, massacre etc doesn't look strange again. As a fact, it's now a norm in the Nigerian day to day news. |
ManknowThyself:Glad you saw the sense in it. |
Ibtxxo:As a man building towards a goal, one thing I’ve come to understand is this, you must be very careful what external forces you allow into your life, especially women. Before anyone misunderstands, this is not hatred or generalization. This is about alignment. The truth is, not every woman can handle a man in his building phase. In fact, out of 10 women, you might not even be able to allow 2 into your life at that stage not because they are bad people, but because they are not aligned with your purpose, your discipline, or your direction. At the level where you’re trying to move from, say, 7/10 to higher levels in life, distractions are costly. Emotional instability, mental stress, and financial pressure can slow you down or completely derail your progress. Emotional abuse exists Mental pressure exists Financial irresponsibility exists And these things affects outcomes. I’ve also experienced this personally. I was in a situation where my finances dropped from 100 to 40 because I was in a relationship. At that point, I had to make a decision, hold on to something that felt like love, or protect the future I’m trying to build. And I chose my future. Good intentions are not enough, Feelings are not enough. So now, I approach relationships differently I believe in intentional and structured relationships I believe in clear boundaries and accountability I believe not everyone deserves access to your resources, time, or energy And yes, I believe in prenuptial agreements out of understanding of the value of what I’m building. This is not about avoiding women. It’s about understanding that access to a man’s life especially one with purpose must be earned through alignment, discipline, and value. Because the wrong person will slow you down. |

Let’s stop dodging the real issue and talk straight. As far back as 2012/2013, before Muhammadu Buhari and APC came into power, David Oyedepo was already speaking what telling us what God told him about the country's future. He openly said they were not right for the country. He called them “blood-sucking demons.” He said God revealed it to him. This was before power changed hands. But at that same time, Enoch Adeboye was protesting during Goodluck Jonathan’s administration. Tunde Bakare was also aligned in that direction. So let’s ask the honest question Did God tell David Oyedepo one thing and tell Enoch Adeboye and Tunde Bakare something else? Or Did some people not actually hear from God the way they claimed? Because if God truly revealed something, consistency should follow. Now fast forward to today. Killings. Kidnappings. Insecurity everywhere. From Benue to Kaduna, every day it’s the same headlines. It has even become normal when you hear “people killed,” the next thing is oh okay. That’s how bad it is. Now here is the main issue: Enoch Adeboye is not just anybody. Many APC members who are Christians are his members Even the First Lady is his member Several governors and top politicians are connected to his church So his voice is not small. His words carry serious weight. So people are asking: Is that why he is silent? Is he scared to speak because of who is involved? Has he suddenly lost his voice? Because till last week, David Oyedepo was still speaking against these issues. So why has Enoch Adeboye not said a word? Nobody is asking him to protest. Just talk. Even if it’s just: “We condemn these killings.” That’s all. And let’s be very honest here, this same man recently gathered some of his “sons” and said they could give one billion naira each in the last camp meeting they did. So the voice is there. The influence is there. The authority is there. So why can’t that same voice be used to address what is happening in the country? Now they will say: “Let’s do prayer walk” “Let’s pray for Nigeria” But wait, You didn’t tell us “prayer walk” in 2012. You didn’t stay silent back then. You spoke. You acted. So why the sudden change now? If you could speak then, and influence people then, why can’t you speak now when things are worse? Nigeria deserves answers. |
