Politics / Re: The Masses Love Ibb by orangemen: 4:42pm On Oct 19, 2010
what if any one had in 1999 denied obasanjo to be president? the same noise abt abiola's denial will be on air.
ibb to me is not the best of candidates but i will VITE HIM against any candidate pdp will provide.
if the so called devil(ibb) left power since 1993 what has changed since then? twin bombs, kidnapping with ease, robbers operating in a particular scene for 5 hrs, us$16b power project bogus contracts, useless educational system, bad roads and legalised sharing of funds in all governmental agencies. selective justice and selections in the name of elections.
united arab emirates was built in 15 yrs and if i want to calculate between 1993 till date, i think that will be abt 17 solid yrs.
today, no national carrier, no national team, no nitel,no nepa. all we have is that same aso rock that was built by this same babangida.
how long has jonathan been there and what can he show for this little time. might anything happen tomorrow, history will have his name as a one time president of nigeria. to me so far, i can only say he chased ibori out of nigeria and forcefully brought ribadu back to nigeria.
Politics / Re: Hurray:Dubai Court Extradites Ibori To London by orangemen: 4:24pm On Oct 19, 2010
So after all your rambling long rants, your rubbish is suggesting that the best approach is not to punish any corrupt person except you are punishing all?

And we should, according to your and that daft pro01's logic, defend and stand up to support any corrupt criminal because they are "scape-goats"?

Init?

@sagamite,
if laws of a country is for few then it makes no sense having one. since criminalities are legal ways of life in nigeria, let it be free for all. since the andy/chris ubas face no punishments, the adedibus had no problems, the annenihs, odilis, kalus, obasanjos, iyabos, ettehs, and our own president who was imposed on us, the prof iwus and a long list of broad day light criminals in nigeria are walking tall before us, let the iboris be free to enjoy their loots.
how come atiku who they said was a criminal in 2007 is still free till now and a possible presidential candidate? why is ibb so free that he can be the next president of nigeria?
before i forget, LET WHATEVER DECISSION NIGERIA HAS TAKEN BE FOR ALL AND THAT IS MY POSITION.
everyone knows that we are born criminals so why are we disturbing ppl who are living up to our reputations?

Man, just shut the hell up and chew on the barrel of that Glock already!

How dumb can u be?

@bk.babe97y,
my mind is telling me, u don't mean to send this to me but if for sure it is mearnt for me, i can only say; SAME TO UR PARENTS.
Politics / Re: Campaign Against Babaginda by orangemen: 4:04pm On Oct 19, 2010
In my opinion I don't have any personal grudges against IBB, he is a Nigerian and is qualified to vie for any elective post. But I guess the real reason for the outcry bordered on his involvement in the annulment of the 2010 June 12 election, the Dele Giwa killing and the Gulf war oil windfall just to mention a few, IBB would have been the greatest and best leader Nigeria ever had if not for the avoidable mistakes he made, now his past is just haunting him!
@nyabingi,
i love ur presentation and a great work u have done here. it is called constructive criticism. in every human being, there are goods and bads.
i don't like IBB to be the next president either but as a nigerian, he has the right to vote and be voted for.
ppl here will say i like picking on obasanjo, yes because he had all the opportunities in this life to change our histories on different ways. assuming obasanjo/ribadu's noise over war on corruption caught on IBB, we will not be here to campeign for or against ibb. this was a man everyone was expecting to die in jail but our ribadu felt he was clean so if he is clean, let him go to the poll and taste his popularity with the masses.
pdp as a part has failed and the possibility of an osama bin laden to win any pdp candidate is a possibility here in nigeria.
if 1999-2007 lived up to its expectations, all these old criminals are surposed to be either in jails or at least learn to stay away from politics but what do we have here, the same old criminals here and there.
no matter who pdp is fielding, i will not vote them bcs the party is a symbol of corruption as long as this country is concerned. if for any reason, ibb come out from anyother party, i will let him have my vote against any pdp candidate.
Politics / Re: Facebook President Goodluck Congratulates Uti Of Bba5 . . . by orangemen: 3:06pm On Oct 19, 2010
what is wrong with you?

first off, i lambasted people who made so much about Utis 200k largess on facebook cos to me, the noise was deafening and diversionary. (i didnt see the show throughout the 3 months it was on air)

If the President of a country sends a mssg to another Nigerian cos he won a TV reality show that has huge followership, then what is wrong in it. If Obama can leave the white house to go party in lebron's house, then i dont see anythn wrong in what GEJ did.

Your response on Obamas visit to Lebrons house is watery and one sided. Basketball has its followers while some people dont see anythn good in the game. Same goes for Football. Some would admonish a President for going to the stadium to see a football game while some would hail him. Same thing applies to BBM with its huge followership across Africa.

He has decided to identify with the show by sending the mssg so i see nothing wrong in this. If a game of basketball is a sport and a means of livelihood, then maybe reality show bizniz has come to stay for some people.  The show is gonna pay Uti's bills same way basketball pays lebron's bill so bro cut this your aggro on GEJ abeg

@tbk47,
do u know that 3 nigerian athletes have failed drug tests in indian commonwealth's game? what is our facebook leaders saying? a uk camera caught our fifa representative asking for bribe before he votes(typical nigeria), how abt a comment from our facebook ruler?
from the way things are going, nigeria is becoming a facebook country generating funds for the owners of the site while our country goes down the drain.
if there is anything worth talking abt on facebook by our president, it has to be the fraudulent manners with which he gets to aso rock. our president went to abuja via the worst selection(election) in the history of man and as such represents nothing but fraud. he shld be working on his image and the societal criminals that sourround him in the name of aides and advisers.
for those talking abt obama and other western world leaders who are on facebook, that is where the ppl's opinions matters and not here where we cannot vote talkless of talk things that matters.
jonathan is leaving the objects (our pressing problems) for shadows(facebook/internet - public opinion.
if uti is that patrotic, let him bring the $200k so that we will use it for our power supply problems
Politics / Re: Power Supply: I Won’t Make Empty Promises To Nigerians -jonathan by orangemen: 2:48pm On Oct 19, 2010
for real, i am not expecting anything different from GEJ. the first problem here is that we did not vote him into aso rock rather obasanjo did. all he needs to do is to make sure the man who brought him to power is happy with him and that is all.
he owes u and i no explainations and accountabilities.wether he makes promises or not, it does not matter.
he represents the worste election in the history of nigeria so making promises or not does not change a thing.
Politics / Re: Facebook President Goodluck Congratulates Uti Of Bba5 . . . by orangemen: 2:32pm On Oct 19, 2010
I am sure most you guys condemning GEJ did not watch the show. Uti was a worthy 9ja ambassador. He displayed patriotism in the midst of adversity. Why did the average American not condemn Obama when he was shown playing golf or running around with dogs in the white house on CNN? GEJ has his own personal and social life and nobody has the right to tell him how to live it.

@tosag,
this is where the problem is. go out there and tell ppl that nigeria is the best place to live in the world and we will call u patrotic but is that the truth? we like lies and we call our liars heros and patrotic. someother housemates were talking abt the ills in their country but a typical nigerian was there saying wonderful lies just to pls home based criminals. when cnn visited niger delta, the adverts on that station was stopped. when bbc showed lagos, the whole country labelled them criminals but the same cnn that showed obama running with dogs showed new orleans without facing problems. ait had problems for showing a live coverage of the house while they debate 3rd term agenda. we worship and call those who lie to cover our pains heros and patrotic. in my place, they say, when u expose nyash rashes, they will go. make we dey talk true, make the world know that we are suffering more than those in wars. if jonathan and his aides are watching big brother, it means they saw all those tartiana's unclothedness and that shiela's tripping? wow, our president don spoil.
do u think obama will be running with dogs if his country is in this kind of mess we find ourselves?

Is he supposed to comment on an ongoing investigation that he holds no facts on?

but he commented on ibori over allegations of corruptions which are yet confirmed in any law court yet.
is adamu amos argueing that? no, he was only saying he needed the money to build artificial picthes here in nigeria - such a patrotic man.

it does not matter how many seconds it takes goodluck to post a comment because a second's comment from a president is good enough to destroy the whole country.

no matter how we look at it, nigeria needs an action president and not a facebook president. talking, talking and talking is not helping us. jonathan, pls start acting b4 we all become kidnappers and suicide bombers. things are going from bad to worste every day in nigeria. there is also the possibility of hackers going to post through ur facebook and that will be another problem.
pls jonathannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn help nigerianssssooooooooooooooooooooooooo

According to the rubbish these 2 are chatting, we should not charge anyone with corruption until we can charge all those that are corrupt.

Unbelievable thinking level.

@Sagamite,
according to my rubbish, i am saying, nigerian constitution must be above every nigerian. in my rubbish, nigerians must be equal before the law of this country, my rubbish is that what is good for alams who was caught in a money laundary in uk is equally good for andy uba who was also caught in money laundary in the usa.
my rubbish is that abacha was not the only corrupt past president nigeria have? my rubbish position is that those govs who ruled us between 1999 and 2007 are due for justice because JUSTICE DELAYED THEY SAY IS JUSTICE DENIED.
my rubbish is also that since 1960, we have been on this type of justice and u and i know that we have not been doing well as a country hence the need for a change.
another rubbish that i will not forget is that our current president has no moral justification to say who is corrupt in nigeria because he came into aso rock fraudulently and as such is a symbol of corruption.
no blind man can lead a blind man unless in nigeria.
in all my rubbishes, killing one ibori in 4 yrs and giving birth to 1,000 ibrois every month is destroying nigeria and if we continue this way, we are surely heading to the rock. in another rubbish, if time is not taken, we will soon find it difficult to have access to our computers to type.
nigerian youths are roaming the streets of poorer countries in the name of greener pastures and i am rubbishly saying something drastic needs to be done to get this country back on track.
good day mr. rubbish

are you comparing your schedule to that of the CinC? that has to be the most inane comparison i've come across this year. . .so when GEJ wants to browse, he has to
1. walk to the computer
2. switch on the computer
3. Connect to the internet(which may take some time)
4. Login to facebook

(and in that space of time, the naira would have crashed. . .smh, Nigeria is ruined)

guy
. . .one word comes to mind when i read this your write up. . .parochial

@netotse,
if u look back at my last post, it was directed to tbk47 in answer to his question of which i considered him gentle enough to read and understand my position. u just joined the discussion with the above highlighted 3 wonderful words of urs( GUY, INANE AND PAROCHIAL).

this is internet where anyone comes including our own president. do u think these words of urs will be the best assuming u were addressing ur parents or someone of the same age with ur parents?
what i am talking abt is ur public relations. in a public forum like this, we never met, u don't know me, we are not friends and i can be of the same age with ur papa or mama so brother next time address ppl with their id names.
on the issue of inane and parochial, i can only say, same to ur parents.
as per topic, no comments.

You have made some good points here, though how Jonathan's presence on FB can cause such hulabaloo is beyond me. And he is far too busy to be handling his fb himself, I'm sure he has some kind of image rep handling all his internet pages, whether in facebook or twitter. All I want to reiterate here is, never you mind about his antics online, everyone even Obama is doing it, let's just hope in the end we will see improvement in the country.

@maedan,
what u have concluded here is the prayer of an average nigerian. my worries are that nigeria is not making the right moves. nothing is showing me that jonathan is in any way different from the past rulers who brought us to this strange land.
many nigerians will tell u that nigeria is a very large country and i cannot find how population can be a disadvantage to nigeria when the powers of china, india and usa are built on the population.
the bible makes it clear that if ur eyes will put u into hell, pluck it out so if our population is our problem, let us divide the country. jonathan himself have mentioned it more than a million times that nigeria is suffering from bad leadership and corruption so knowing that alone is enough for him to act. so why is none of these bad leaders is suffering in nigeria? why is corruption on the increase by the day? in solving our problems, how does this facebook of a think come in? is it not an act of pretence from the president if he says he wants to work with the opinion of the masses?
if actually the president wants to know what nigerians want, i am sure every nigerian wants a steady power supply among other things. 85% of nigerians want enough punishments for criminals in power. we want to enjoy the benefits of our God's given natural resources. we want our tax payers money to be effectively used. God bless Nigeria.
Politics / Re: Hurray:Dubai Court Extradites Ibori To London by orangemen: 11:50am On Oct 19, 2010
Lol @ air-conditioned Dubai prisons where fresh juice is served to inmates. That means the standard of living in Dubai prisons is far higher than what most 'free' Nigeria citizens can ever dream of. No thanks to the endemic corruption that is further entrenched by a point-and-kill style of purportedly fighting corruption. Bollocks.
(btw I am curious as to how you came about so much 'personal' knowledge about the Dubai prison system, lol).

Meawhile talking about Ribadu, I remember how, during his reign as EFCC Emperor, he declared Bola Tinubu's looting and money laundering to be "of an international dimension" and vowed to arrest him immediately he loses his immunity on May 29, 2007. Today what do we have? Ribadu is running for president and alas! Tinubu is his chief financier! And Ribadu is quoted to have said that he isn't bothered about the source of funds for his campaign, and this is the same fool that the gullible Nigerian masses were applauding as an incorruptible man of integrity? The Ibru example is also worthwhile to note. Observing her 6 month jail-term in the super-luxurious Reddington Hospital is surely not a bad deal in exchange for the phenomenal loot (far more than Ibori's) that she acquired from Oceanic bank - forget the much that have been confiscated. Is that not the kind of war on corruption that some nitwits shout hurray about? Some of us would only shout a more sensible hurray when a Jerry Rawlings comes to town with a guarantee of an overdose of sorrow, tears, and blood for anyone CAUGHT in the act of corruption. Not this point-and-kill, slap on the wrist nonsense that these NL kids are quick to celebrate.

@pro01,
i lived 7 yrs in dubai and i visit ppl in both the jails and police stations. they are doing their best to live like the westerners despite their religious background. politics is not discussed there and their leaders do not go with lenghty convoys like our jonathan. u can hardly mentioned a nigerian politician that does not have investments in the place.
as for ribadu, working peacefully with obasanjo is enough reason for every nigerian to know that one is corrupt.
if obasanjo cld not let okonjo iweala remain in power, it means he had some hidden agenda that were different from what he was preaching.
our saint ribadu had no explainations for andy uba who was arrested and jailed(fined) in the usa over money laundary. he did nothing when iyabo obasanjo ran away from justice and nigeria never return iyabo obasanjo to the usa to face kidnap case. ribadu called bode george saint while waziri thinks otherwise.
ribadu never saw anything bad in what obasanjo and soludo were using our banks and their MDs to do while sanusi and wiziri stood up to the truth. it is obvious that there was a harllibutton scandal, siemens scandal, federal power supply contracts awards scandal(us$16B), ibadan-benin expressways road reconstruction scandal(N300B) all took place right under the nose of saint ribadu and the lists are unending.
my position here is that nigeria shld search for a Jerry rawlins to cross this bridge and stop depending on the uk who we sent packing 50 yrs back
Politics / Re: Facebook President Goodluck Congratulates Uti Of Bba5 . . . by orangemen: 11:27am On Oct 19, 2010
tell me how a post on facebook affects his statutory responsibilities

@tbk47,
this is one of the sompliest question i v ever come across in my life.
the last time i visited facebook, i had to start my computer and get the system connected to the internet which sometimes takes times to connect.
never mind the line above, what is the main purpose of a president coming to facebook? if u think it is to post topics or comments, u are wrong because it is to hear our opinions on topics of interests.
if any of u have seen the comments on our presents comments, he or she will agree with me that our president will either ignore everyother issue and read through thousands of comments from nigerians or ignore the same ppl he has come to listen to.
uncle, if someone is reading and posting on behalf of our president, the idea of listening to us is defeated because that same one will only be interested in telling him abt how nigerians are praising him.
i read and comment on the president's fb comments and i tell u in confidence that even computers cannot stand the number of comments on every topic no wonder cnn confirmed that jonathan's fb comments are more than the german councilors, obama's uk prime minister and one other popular person's comments join together.
with these few points of mine, i am sure i v been able to convience u that his facebook appearance here makes little or no sense.
by the way, what is the need of asking seeking our opinions when our problems are too open and self announced that even the deaf and dumb and the blind can see and hear them.
let jonathan start with these generational problems like power supply, security, schools, roads, police and corruption and we will see the seriousness in him and not decieving us by this facebook nonsense.
how does not know the above mentioned problems in nigeria and how does coming to facebook bring solution to any of them?
Politics / Re: Facebook President Goodluck Congratulates Uti Of Bba5 . . . by orangemen: 9:34am On Oct 19, 2010
Ouch Grin

And I think the President of a country can choose to congratulate whom ever he likes. Haba. Is he not a human being again with rights? Abeg jare.

@maedan,
a man whose house is on fire does not go after rats. jonathan is aware of the situations that are very deadly in this country and as such shld pay more attention to them than celebreties.
we expect him to comment on the international criminalities of our fifa representative before talking abt big brother africa.
somebody is saying jonathan is not writing all these, what do u think abt that? deciet or lies to his own ppl?

so Obama was jobless when he went to have a party with Lebron James in his Miami house

@tbk47,
we have things that deserve more attention than this facebook. what has jonathan to say on the issue of adamu and fifa?
Politics / Re: Hurray:Dubai Court Extradites Ibori To London by orangemen: 9:21am On Oct 19, 2010
i don't care what ppl say abt my position but what i care about is how far we have gone with this kind of celebration in the last 50yrs. are we making a headway or are we going down the drain?
if we always use 4 yrs to arrest one thief out of the 150 million criminals in nigeria, can a mathematically sound person here do the equation?
i know too well, the situation in dubai jail but i don't know abt the uk jails so in confidence, i am telling all of us that dubai jail is far better than most of our homes here in nigeria especially where u have money to spend. u make calls at will and send for the things u need as long as u have the cash. the govt serves their dishes with fresh juice and the air-conditioner is 24/7. is that enough punishment for ppl of that level of criminalities?
mrs.ibru is serving a six months jail and her hospital suit is valued at N90,000 per night, who is imagining that?
in my village, the biggest house is owned by a man who served as a member of the state house btw 1999 and 2007 what abt ur villages and towns? name any rich man in this country and i will tell u his political background.
some of us here knew abt the ghana-must-go days and we know present ghana. did ghana use this our formular(selective justice) to get to where they are now?
join pdp and become loyal to obasanjo and u will no longer be a criminal? is ibori's crime against the people of delta more than that of the late adedibu to the oyo ppl or chris uba to the anambra ppl? if any man here says yes, that one is another criminal.
we are not making progress with this style and God knows we will not. there must be a change is style.
if ribadu cld say no to the nigerian police and courts and still survive it, why was ibori running. if i get to that level of ibori, i will act the orji uzor kalu role and remain here to resist every mother fuker that will come my way.
why are they not playing smart with orji uzor kalu?
why is no one looking towards odili and who is not aware of the bondage tinubu has put lagos and its ppl? is atiku interested in all these noisy idiots despite his indictments? the real situation in nigeria is MIGHT IS RIGHT. get strong and u will have ur ways.
who among u here believe that orji uzor kalu will remain alive and kicking till date?
the ibori drama is part of this shameless pdp govt so let us enjoy it while it lasts.

Who told you he does the posting himself?
@Brownteeth,
are there things we are missing from here? u sound like u know more than most of us do?
if mr.president is doing the posting, it means he is jobless like the poster above indicated but if he is not doing that in line with ur position, it means he is a deciet or a liar before us.

to avoid partiality, chibimma of project's firm and the wld be winner of glo naija sings deserves his congratulation massages as well.
yes uti is a good guy now that he refused to open the real situation of nigeria to the outside world. if he had said the truth abt us, everybody wld ask for his head so a typical nigerian is a liar like amos adamu.

by the way, why did jonathan  not congratulate the winners of maltina family dance competition. if i am one of them, i will go to him for our congratulatory massage.

@Orangemen,

Ibori commited a serious crime in the UK, and that is what he is going to be tried for. If the Nigerian government chooses to try him after, that is a different kettle of fish.

But remove joke, Ibori is a big Thief.

@orangemen,
You seem very angry and against anything Nigerian politics, take it easy. Although i understand your point, when people steal and Nigerians insult them in the media,when they see them livein passing they clap, stand in the sun, wave and praise, isnt it enough to confuse the politicians. letting them  think people dont know the wrongs they are doing. The truth is that one day judgemnt will catch up with them, the cheering news here is that the Dubai authorities wouldnt take bribe, unllike Nigerian authorities, cause if these countries were going to take bribe believe me you, Ibori's sister and girlfriend would not be in prison in the uk and his wife and lawyer facing trial. Let these people know that if they steal there is no where to hide anymore.

@monkeyleg and viano oo1,
from all indications, many of us here are celebrating because others are celebrating. if u watched the welcome back of alams to pdp, u will begin to wonder wether those ppl celebrating him are not nigerians.
obasanjo told pdp members to be visiting bode george in prison. ibru have fans and no matter how u look at it, we have a system of justice that has not helped this country in our 50 yrs of independence.
if all these ppl facing trials are state govs, i have been forced to ask what is happening at federal levels? how many former presidents, president's aides, ministers and federal govt contractors are in jail? as nigerians, what are we going to benefit from ibori going to jail in uk? in china, ibori will surely face the hangsmen. in the usa, he will spend the rest of his life in prison but in nigeria, he will stay 6 days in jail and 6 months in a private hospital.
i am sorry to say this, i am not part of this celebration. selective justice that is our system has only proved to be more harmerful here.
who among us here knows anyother business that is more lucrative in nigeria than politics.
who among us here knows that iyabo obasanjo is wanted over a kidnap in the usa?
ibori like i said, shld have been a problem to the ppl of delta and not nigeria likewise everyother gov of the other states.
why is everybody out for ibori who is out of nigeria while the rest of the govs who stole alongside ibori are kkingmakers here in nigeria?
what happened to the list of govs who ribadu boasted to have compiled pending their 2007 expiration date?
why are we not celebrating the harllibutton and siemens scandal criminals?
if the arrest of ibori and even his death will bring the much needed change in nigeria, i will be the first man to cast my stone.
who is our president? how did he come to power? what and how is ibori's criminalities different from the fraudulent means by which jonathan gets to aso rock?
is ibori responsible for unsteady power supply that has become the identity of nigeria? who are those behind all the bogus contracts given and paid for between 1999 till date at federal level? where is the siezed ship that obasanjo's administration told nigerians that got missing?
pls, nigerians and nairalanders, let us call a spade, a spade.
these guys are out to make mockery of us. who will doubt it that if ibori changes his mind and become a pdp loyalist tomorrow, uk and nigeria govt will no longer call him a criminal?
how many of our govs have investments in the uk and why just two and those two are enemies of our federal criminals?
mrs. ibru is in a suit of N90,000 per night and that is the jail term for a woman who stole over N195B from just one bank and she is still entitle to 10% of that same bank.
all these banks are in partnership with our criminal politicians because they are they only means of their transactions.

nigerians and their short memories.
did we vote this man in? his coming to power was like a coup and in that case, he owe us no accountabilities in respect to his actions.
we must not forget that what we have in jonathan is a third term agenda in another form.
Politics / Re: Hurray:Dubai Court Extradites Ibori To London by orangemen: 12:46pm On Oct 18, 2010
The poster is celebrating the fact that Ibori will finally be prosecuted for all the atrocities that was alleged to have been committed by him. He will come to justice for looting billions of naira meant for for the development of Delta state and come to think of it, he may even be ordered to forfeit most of his illegally acquired property so if you ask me, i think their is a reason to celebrate this development

@seunmsg,
what ibori is suffering is not his fraudulent life against the ppl of delta rather oposition. if u don't understand it, look at atiku. we were told he was a criminal in 2007 and now that he is in pdp, what happened to his criminalities? orji uzor kalu was surposed to be the biggest criminal nigeria ever had, he is now a saint since he joined pdp. why is ibori's criminalities a nigerian problem when we have millions of federal criminals in abuja who are still saints?
how far can the celebration go in bringing the permanent changes nigeria needs? why is it that we are no longer independent of the same country we discharged 50 yrs back? i hope u will celebrate tomorrow when this same ppl will tell u that every nigerian is a criminal knowing that they always say the truth?

Orangemen = chidichris

@Post
Nice house Mikel
Just make sure u don't go marrying a golddigger

@jay bee,
no matter how u look at it, someone somewhere must be the lucky woman for that sweet kitchen. as long as there is gold, there must be someone to dig the gold. at that level now, mikel cannot be looking for a woman who loves him rather a woman he loves bcs 99.9999999% of women are in love with mikel, what he does, his wealth and this sweet crib.
Politics / Re: Hurray:Dubai Court Extradites Ibori To London by orangemen: 10:01am On Oct 18, 2010
@the hurray poster,
what exactly are u celebrating? i feel very sick to see nigerians celebrating anything and everything.
50 yrs after independence, we still have to depend on this same uk to catch those who steal from our country, we still depend on uk to steal our own resources, we still depend on uk to know the details of bombs that exploded in abuja. what is the essence of independence if you are born to be dependent?
what exactly are we doing right on our own as a country? how many iboris are living right here in nigeria without stress?
if ribadu as an individual cld tell the nigerian police and the nigerian judiciary to go to hell and nothing happened then ibori shld have remained here and used his last resources to fight these terroriists at aso rock.
you shld be worried of how mant times u have celebrated this kind of situations and how far did it go in changing the lives of common nigerians.
why are u not worried abt our judiciary system that cld only jail bode george for 2 yrs over the stealing of over N100b belonging to nigeria and nigerians? i know that as a celebrant, u celebrated the six months jail term of a woman that stole over N195b from just one bank?
well, is not ur fault because we lack good reasons to celebrate hence the need to celebrate anything available. no wonder the most exciting testimonies in our churches today are, visa at last, multi-visa for my family, 2 yrs visa to gabon, 8 yrs visa to congo, after many refusals, the my son was finally issued a residential visa in benin republic. bro, do u know of any normal person who celebrates his escape from his own country even when there is no war?

It is not just a nice house its a fantastic house.

depends on the location should be worth at least 3 million pounds.

@snowdrops,
i no fit shout. that was a display of class and taste.

my manz mikel doing it big hopefully u can stop all those sidepassing/backpass and score a goal

whatsoever one is doing to come by this type of house is worth doing. if sidepasses and back passes can get this kind of house for a young man, then of what use is this advise of an under bridge operator?
Politics / Re: Should The President Resign? by orangemen: 12:25am On Oct 18, 2010
Was babangidas regime 86-1993 and abachas 94-1998 not worse than this? Did they resign?

@toba,
how is now better than 86 - 1993? how much was garri then and how much is it now?what were the conditions of our roads, hospitals, quality of education, our security system then and now? why are we decieving ourselves? why are we stingy with the truth.
if we agree that ibb killed dele giwa, who killed bola ige?
do u by any chance know the difference between a military regime and a democratic govt.

at least nigeria's problems have been solved because ibori seems to be the only or major problem of nigeria
Sports / Re: Who Can Solve Super Eagles Playmaking/attacking Midfield Problem by orangemen: 3:59pm On Oct 17, 2010
nigeria has more players in the midfield more that anyother department at the moment.
the main problem with this poster is that he is so weak in his mikel topics that he does not know where else to come from.
the present super eagle is more equiped at the middle than anyother department and if i see any informed perosn who is ready to argue this, i will go down with that one pointing to facts and figures.
@12large1,
pls start another topic bcs this is weak.
Sports / Re: Inside John Obi Mikel's House - Video by orangemen: 3:47pm On Oct 17, 2010
I don't need any confirmation from you man, Mikel is a public man and he's expected to get stuffs like these all the time, everyone can't say good of him, 12large was talking to Mikel through the post and not you, but you chose to pick on him which is a clear personal attack on him.

He said he "hopes" Mikel scores soon, how's that an insult? and even if it's an insult, was it to you? why pick on him?

REMEMBER NO PERSONAL ATTACKS ARE ALLOWED ON THIS FORUM (i didn't create the law, it's been here before i joined)

i am really trying not to toll your line, you just don't understand life and as such, all i need to do is to ignore all that you wrote, go back to what i wrote and please point out where i dislike or supported those who disliked Mikel, stop raining curses everywhere, learn to ignore some things, you don't have to burst at every thing you read.

BTW: I have read posts from 12large and i am not new to his posts, i have seen silly comments from him, but this particular one DOES not contain anything negativity like you are making the whole world think, so please learn how to apportion blames and also learn how to pick flaws from comments.

After you read my post, you failed to see where i wrote this right? Undecided

"Remember what 2FACE said in his song? "IF NO ONE TALKS ABOUT YOU (NEGATIVELY/POSITIVELY), THEN YOU ARE NOBODY"

"Mikel is somebody, that's why he's being talked about!"

what were you able to deduct from these comments? did you deduct any negative or positive motive? please supply answers to my questions.
Thanks

@honeric01,
u said he is entitle to his opinion and forgot to say that i am also entitle to my own opinion too. u said 12large1 was talking to mikel and not me so who are u talking to? since when did u turn to his attorney or spokesman? nairaland is for nigerians and i am a nigerian and as such have every right to say my mind on any topic i choose here. do u think u have what it takes to identify personal attacks? what do u think is the punishment for personal attacks? it is banning which i have suffered and ur 12large has suffered same. why do u think among ppl on this forum, i picked on 12large and why did u choose to be the one to speak for him among other people here? are u a kind of showing ur intelligence and smartness? have u been reading other ppl's comments on this thread topic? the topic is on mikel's house and not skills. the most dangerious thing about topics is discussing out of contempt. how can a normal person change a topic and u want all of us to seat down and watch him mislead us.
if the moderators think that i attacked 12large, let them ban me or u can do that urself. it is obvious nigerians are frustrated, but it is not a wise decission for ppl to bring their frustrations here.
ur 12large1 left the house issue to express his hope that mikel stop sidepasses. since u are very intelligent, how does back pass and side pass relate to the house in picture.
i don't care what next u are going to say but be in formed that envy does not help. mikel has got a nice house and many here have said they like and some say they don't like certain things abt the house and that is natural and normal.
next time, support human beings instead of goats or ppl will take u for a goat.
12large1 does not like mikel and that he has shown in all his comments abt mikel and he does not hide it so if u are here to defend him, be bold and identify with his belief and i will be on ground to dish the same menu for u not withstanding what the law of the forum says.

the problem of man u is nothing but old age.
the older one becomes, the possibilities of diminishing returns.
what do u expect from the old fergie working with vds. soon, fergie will be using his technical crew members as players and vds will be scoring own goals.
on the other hand, rooney is under the watchful eyes of the press and cannot do anything without prostitutes.

assuming obj is a everything a great leader is, are great leaders mearnt to die leading? at what age and time is a great leader surposed to retire from active politics? is 3rd term one of the xteristics of a great leader? is his inordinate ambition part of his greatness? is imposing politicians on nigerians part of his calling?
great leader my foot.
