Hubby and babies applied in May. Hubby did upfront medicals. They received a medical request on July 21 but we emailed them to remind them hubby had already passed upfront medical so they sent PPR on Jul 23. My children's medical was updated as passed on Aug 2nd. PPR was sent 10 Aug. I sent this because I know that this kind of news encouraged me when I was waiting. I hope it encourages someone. I give God the glory actually because he was merciful and prospered our efforts: I reached out to them a lot I sent a travel exemption request via the webform and email (4x. lol) I reached out to the MP in my area. I leveraged on the services of my school immigration advisors my documents were very detailed and extra so they won't have anything to request or delay over It will end in praise. |
nochyks87:ok, that makes sense. well done. if you raise any web form, quote specific dates of their coming and departure. let departure be your own visa expiry. I just realized from speaking with my school migration consultant that they want to be sure you're staying, contrary to what we think. May our testimonies come sooner than later IJN. |
nochyks87:Hi. I might be wrong but maybe you should consider this: I think the GCMS note shows that they have already granted your SOWP for which they don't need to provide you a letter of exemption to travel because it is a nondiscretionary trip but they received a webform that your spouse and child planned to visit for just a month not to stay and possibly extend stay so this means that it is no longer non-discretionary. The policy on the website states that for it to be nondiscretionary, it must be beyond 15 days (a month is longer but they might think it is too short if your visa is much longer. Hence the revert to a regular TRV). TRVs are nondiscretionary. I might be wrong but I couldn't take the chance that you might not consider this and possibly rectify the situation. |

Frank! he knows what he is doing, I promise! Thank you Frank. My timeline: 2nd application applied: Dec 24th 2020 NSE request: January 11 2021 Uploaded IELTS and mybankstatement same day but it reflected on Jan 14th. Upfront medicals: Jan 7 2021 medicals reflected: Feb 2 2021 Received confirmation letter and then sent an email copied from here with by another testifier. I got an email from Nairobi that they were reviewing my application, I should be patient and I would soon hear from them BVL and PPR arrived: feb 22 2021 It will end in praise for everyone that desires same results. You will have wisdom and favor to cross this hurdle IJN. |

Happy new year guys. May we all achieve beyond our dreams this year IJN. Is anyone else experiencing inability to upload documents on the Nairobi webform? I haven't been able to go beyond the first page since Tuesday. Could I be doing something wrong? What should I do differently? Thanks guys |
good morning. When one is reapplying after a refusal do I need to resubmit all the refence letters, from snr colleague, intro letter from work, intro letter from landed property development companies etc ? Or I can simply submit my bank statements and leave all the others away since they have the record of it? Please your urgent replies are needed as I plan to resubmit this week. Thank you. |
Hi @justmellow, Thank you so much for your analysis. The passport for my previous travel history is missing but i got a police report for it. I think I will need guidance for my study plan. I am already working on the activity of the account and the other things you mentioned. Do you have any ideas on how I can show that my circumstances have improved since the last time I applied? Hi guys, Please o give me your opinions on this GCMS note. 33yo married woman Nigerian woman seeking entry to Canada to obtain master’s degree in comms travel to UK in 2019, no other evidence of travel financial support: husband, 2 children under 4 yo. PA has 3 siblings, 1 in US and 2 in CDA, one of which in a SP. Proof of funds: bank statements showing consistent low balance+ large deposits. PA will obtain masters in peace studies in July, works as monitoring + evaluation associate (data quality). I am not satisfied that the course of studies is reasonable given the high cost of international study in Canada when weighed against the potential career/employment benefits and the applicant’s personal circumstances. Based on the information provided by the PA, I am not satisfied that based on factors such as family ties, financial establishment and relevant travel history, the applicant will be a genuine temporary resident who will depart CDA at the end of the authorized period of stay. Application refused. JustMellow: |

Hello all, I need your experienced views please. I got admission in the university of Ottawa and applied for student visa. I paid fess and there was almost 20m in my sponsors(husband) account among other properties etc. I just recieved a refusal o. Refusal was based on financial status and assets, family ties in Nigeria, travel history. I was in the UK last year, and my husband and two children are with me in Nigeria. What do you think should be my next course of action? Should I defer the admission and restrategise or go and do PR I’m confused. Ideas pleasssseeee! |
