Firstly, Edo Central has always voted PDP. and they will vote PDP again. another this is according to the rotational method in Edo the next governor is coming from Edo central in in 2024. but if they vote APC , pastor will want two terms , that's to say they will not see governor till another 8 years. remember the last time they produced governor, it was short leaved by oshiomhole court victory .


Edo South will be decided , and Obaseki will take the lion share with the power of incumbent, plus the fact that the people of Edo south are tired of Oshiomhole and Tony Kabaka.

Edo north will also greatly be divided 50/50. because Obaseki Deputy is another ruthless grassroot politician. the immediate past speaker of the state house of assembly. from Edo north too, will help share the spoils .

note to forget to mention the fact that, Oshiomhole was suspended in ward in Edo north. where he has greatly lost popularity .

1. The esan people (Edo central) have always been pro-PDP, come rain, come sun. It has never been divided. The Senator and all the house of reps members from Edo central are PDP.

2 Edo North has always been a strong hold of APC but with the fall of Oshiomole as APC Chairman, that place will be shared. As a matter of fact, the deputy governor (Phillip Shuiabu) has more influence in Edo North than Oshiomole right now. Don't forget that Oshiomole was suspended from APC in his ward, orchestrated by Philip Shuiabu. Oshiomole is on ground in his LG and he was suspended in his ward even as APC chairman?.

3. Edo south has always been pro-PDP. The only Senator from Edo south is PDP. 4 house of reps members represent Edo south, and 3 of them are from PDP. Only one is APC.

Majority of Benin people are behind Obaseki, not because he has really performed excellently, but because of their hatred for Oshiomole and the Lagos kind of god-father stunt he wanted to pull in Edo state.



See, Obaseki will defeat Ize-iyamu hands down. Infact, most Edo people feel it's an aberration for APC to be in Charge in Edo. It's just like saying PDP should be in charge in Borno.
