Read the judgment well. It was not dismissed because the case lacks merit but was dismissed because PDP lacks the locus standi to bring the action. But now that election is over, it is for the tribunal. The case was not determined on merit. Do not celebrate yet.

APC primary case is status barred at presidential tribunal, there is a time frame to challenge nomination of a candidates and the time elapsed before tribunal case.
E.g zamfara,rivers, and bayelsa case. Apc lost these states to pre-election case not Tribunal.

you re not smart. this is a pre-election case, only those that contest the primary according to the new electoral act is qualify to institute the case against Tinubu and shetima.
After the names of APC candidate has been forwarded to inec, the case becomes status barred.

The opposition can only challenge the candidates after election if they didn't meet up with the requirements of participating in the general election.

Court Cases are different. If one failed with a particular prayer another person may succeed with the same prayer in the same court. It's not yet time for jubilation.
Meanwhile, Court proceedings are all about evidence. The judges claimed Atiku has no legal basis to institute the case. If your lawyers Provide enough evidence the case is yours nomatter the locus

He didnt lose Adeleke's case. He won it at the tribunal in 2018 and didnt participate further. For 2023, He isnt even Adeleke's council yet as Adeleke was reserving him for the supreme court appeal. Ikpeazu has won more election petitions cases than any other lawyee in Nigeria. The guy is a doctor of law and obtained his degrees in the US. He isnt in the league of our local champions here

His name is Onyekachi Ikpeazu(SAN). INEC had to recruit him as their lawyer after his excellent defence of many cases including cases against them. quote author=Dejavuetall post=121538896]Woke olanipekun has never lost a case at the supreme court. I doubt if he will lose this. Smart move by tinubu.

Out of 10 local govt called for sokoto, tinubu is leading with small margin, 13 left to go. I was being generous with margin for atiku. Sokoto is looking like a draw or less than 20k lead for atiku.
