Even from the result of the last presidential election, it is very obvious South south is gradually moving towards APC. Buhari got about 35% of the total vote cast in the region with states like Bayelsa, Delta, Edo, and I think Akwa Ibom ejecting APC National Assembly members.

If APC can win Bayelsa, the party should be looking towards getting nothing less than 50% of the total vote cast in the south south in 2023 presidential election.

exactly .come 2023 pdp should not expect bloc votes from South South region.Most of the governor's by then re completing their second tenure .they would be pre-ocuppied with the political tussle of installing their stooge as successor which break their ranks.
If Akpabio succed in delivering huge infrastructural project in NDDC like he did as a governor .then Apc will slug it out fiercely with pdp in 2023.
