I have a question o. A friend of mine who just passed out of Nysc wants to apply for study permit. She got a job before Pop and has resumed consequently. Now she wants to apply for trv. is it better she apply as an unemployed or employed? She planned submitting her application by January and I have seen on this forum once that one must be atleast a year in his/her work place before someone could apply for study leave. Please advice

Hello everyone, I have a question for the house as regards supervision...thesis based program.............when a potential supervisor encourages you to apply and get back to him immediately you have done so, does it automatically translates to the fact that she has agreed to supervise you?

Please my sister is soo disturbed right now, she has a complicated life though.
Starting from her age, she is 1987, waec gave her 1986.
Secondly, she wasted almost 5 years in lautech studying a course that had problem, she told dad when she was in 200L but he thought she wasn't serious till when she got to 500L then he got a form for her to go to covenant university.
Because of the fact that she wasted 5yrs and waec increased her age, she decided to do the age reduction(1986-1989) on her waec result last year january cos of age limit(because she started applying immediately after nysc orientation camp), she paid 20k to do this, only to find out few days ago that the waec she thought has 1989 actually has 1986 when she used the waec scratch card to check online.
Now the most annoying thing is she intend going to UK for her masters and has started the application, she's jst waiting for her admission letter and all the document has 1989 including her international passport.
Now its easier to change some of the documents that has 1989 but what about her international passport and the documents she sent to U.K
Pls ow possible is it for her to change the age on her passport and other document. With this their mentality abt nig and she's scared they myt not give her visa even if she's offered an admission and she's also getting married in UK next year march.

Pls I need suitable advise from matured minds.

I want to know the difference between graduate certificate diploma, post graduate diploma of 1year, Post grad diploma of 2years and advanced diploma

How easy can one secure a good job with either of the above program?

Then if I enrol in any of these and I am interested in masters later, will there be a reduction in the normal 2 years duration?

Hi, Everyone, I need an option in Canada that would allow me work and study so I could earn a little and support myself. I wouldn't want to get there and keep calling home for pocket money hence my reasons for wanting to go for Msc Coop option. But it seems majority of the schools affordable/ Cheap offering January admission do not have Coop option. Now my question is how else can I earn money to support myself through the other routes without having to desperately look for supervisors for funding? Or without necessarily becoming a Research assistant? Can I get work off campus and still study full time or part time without a supervisor. Please help a confused sister here. Thanks

Good morning everyone, I applied to university of Regina 3weeks ago, all to receive a message that my personal statement or resume was plagiarised and as a result of that, my admission would not be granted. I was banned for 6month. Ever since, I have been weeping cos, I wrote the personal statement myself, I sent it to experienced people and they made necessary corrections. I feel so sad right now. But I have decided to move on. Though I feel so weak right now, that's why I need your help. I need a university between 5-8k tuition per year. Computer science, Winter/ Spring Start would have applied to MUN but they don't have my course..... Please help me I have searched to no avail.. Help a sister
