Romance / Re: After Saying No, Look At What She Sent To Me (advise) by oromankirisi(f): 11:22pm On May 26, 2015
..you have to man up and know what you want (no need asking her to give you a yes or no and all that) believe me if u had asked for just 2months instead of a year she woulda taken u more seriously, a real man is affirmative and firm,he takes the lead and not wait to be led, every woman wants a male-man. If she keeps you at bay, ignore her and quit the attachments and if she asks for cash and u'v got it send it to her, don't reply her thank you text or call to know how her trip was, that's how to take care of such and still come out with your boss status intact#

zik4ever:
To be honest, whatever this man's shortcomings may be, he has completely re-defined governance! How is he doing it? I know you'll say he got a lot of money? You may even say he stole much more but I am compelled to commend him. I think at the end of the day, it’s not entirely about whether you are APC or PDP. Lots of what Amaechi did (and most were in his first term) were done while he was a PDP Governor. Of course, there are good APC Governors so it’s really down to individuals. Again I hate to disappoint you but even the Governor of Jigawa State, Sule Lamido who has handed over to his SSG and gone abroad, did a lot -ask natives of that State. All you read in the Press is the debt he left and how his son was caught in suspected money laundering -not that I am defending the said allegation which have not be established in a court of competent jurisdiction.
Governor Jang of Plateau State is more known nationally for the NGF 19/16 fiasco, issues with salary payment, the crisis in the State and "Berom agenda" yet again, I lived in that State and visit frequently, I am not sure any ex-Governor of that State other than late Joseph Gomwalk did what he has done in terms of physical roads etc even if according to you (and it might be correct) all are in Berom land -the roads are permanent property of Plateau State!
I can go on but of course there were disastrous and woeful performance by some PDP State Government starting with my own!
I just pray this new crop of Governors and Mr. President will even try to make small changes -I do not have messianic expectation and won’t be disappointed if I don’t see very radical changes.
If you disagree with me and I didn’t get my facts correct, forgive me but I am sure you know this doesn’t call for insult or accusation. I am your fellow citizen who wants the best for our children in the future!

Romance / 30 Things Every Woman Should Have And Should Know By The Time She's 30 by oromankirisi(f): 8:35pm On May 25, 2015
SHOULD HAVE

1. One old boyfriend you can imagine going back to and one who reminds you of how far you’ve come.

2. A decent piece of furniture not previously owned by anyone else in your family.

3. Something perfect to wear if the employer or man of your dreams wants to see you in an hour.

4. A purse, a bag, a good shoe and an umbrella you’re not ashamed to be seen carrying.

5. A youth you’re content to move beyond.

6. A past juicy enough that you’re looking forward to retelling it in your old age.

7. The realization that you are actually going to have an old age -- and some money set aside to help fund it.

8. An email address, an international passport, and a functional bank account

9. A résumé that is not even the slightest bit padded.

10. One friend who always makes you laugh and one who lets you cry.

11. A set of screwdrivers, a 3G phone, and a black lace bra.

12. Something ridiculously expensive that you bought for yourself, just because you deserve it.

13. The belief that you deserve it.

14. A skin-care regimen, an exercise routine, and a plan for dealing with those few other facets of life that don’t get better after 30.

15. A solid start on a satisfying career, a satisfying relationship, and all those other facets of life that do get better.

SHOULD KNOW

1. How to fall in love without losing yourself.

2. How you feel about having kids.

3. How to quit a job, break up with a man, and confront a friend without ruining the friendship.

4. When to try harder and when to walk away.

5. How to kiss in a way that communicates perfectly what you would and wouldn’t like to happen next.

6. The names of the Past Presidents, at least names of 2/3 of sitting governors

7. How to live alone, even if you don’t like to, and the name of a very good tailor in town

8. Where to go -- be it your best friend’s kitchen table or the supermarket -- when your soul needs soothing.

9. That you can’t change the length of your legs, the width of your hips, or the nature of your parents.

10. That your childhood may not have been perfect, but it’s over.

11. What you would and wouldn’t do for money or love.

12. That nobody gets away with smoking, drinking, doing drugs, or not flossing for very long.

13. Who you can trust, who you can’t, and why you shouldn’t take it personally.

14. Not to apologize for something that isn’t your fault.

15. Why they say life begins at 30

wink

Saddening
InZA:
Above 30 is too far in my own opinion.

You'd see these qualities in ladies who are between 25-28years.

Ladies below this age range are still in their yeye phases.

..I was just watching on NTA 9oclock news the demonstration by Ghanians on the recent spate of poor power distribution, some people interviewed said there's light only 3 days in a week and it's NOT acceptable!, and people were actually not having non of it..Last week we woke up to the reality that our national power supply had reduced to just above one thousand MegaWatts, i'm not sure we had up to 16hrs of power supply the whole of last last week where I live, but then in this country we'r used to such things. On my way back from church I stopped to ask the black market sellers how much a 10 litre container of fuel cost, and the boy simply shouted 5,000!!! #e no go easy#
