maleekberry: According to arise news, the boy was maltreated by the Ekweremadu family. They were hostile to him, made him sleep on a cold floor and even threatened him.
Then he ran out one night and saw a police officer and explained everything to him and the police took him into custody.
All I know is that senator Ekweremadu and his wife get plenty explanation to do because do many things are not clear as regards this matter.
As for the silly daughter that decided to bleach away her life from dark skinned to snow white. I hope she can now see one of the dangers of bleaching.

Nnamnugochi: H.E. Atiku has lost it already. He jettisoned the committee's report to do his bidding showing how he will choose to work without input from others especially other arms of government.
H.E. Okowa betrayed other southern governors to become VP. He will also be betrayed. Rivers will vote PDP as governor but will split their votes for APC and Labour Party for the presidential seat.
The Southern governors' forum declaration will stand. To overcome this, he would had been picked H.E. Wike as VP. Gov Wike has been the backbone of PDP supporting all court cases and also stoutly opposing the federal government.
He will be silent now and concentrate on how to win his home state for governor.
burritto: 1989 was when the price really went up, I remembered we started building one of our houses with #4.50k per bag in February that year, then it moved to #20 and then #38 or #40. In May of 1989 it was #38. The price went up really high that year

Immaculate755: Good afternoon Nairalanders. Please I need your input on the predicament I found myself in.
Roughly 3 months ago, I discovered something like a lump in my breast the left side precisely but it wasn't painful if not pressed. Initially, I didn't see it as something serious until clear fluid began to show on the nipple when pressed and the size of the lump seems reduced when water is being squeezed out.
3weeks after the discovery, I went to see a Medical Doctor in a Federal University Health Centre where I'm schooling. I narrated my ordeal to her and asked me to pull off my T-shirt for her to see the lump in the breast which I did.
She did visual check only. No examination or anything. she said it nothing to worry about that it normal.
She then asked of my age? Told her I'm in my mid-twenties (was specific when telling her tho). Her response was that it normal. Then I told her about some researches I made on the internet, that I think it should be normal if am still in my teens prolly because of puberty. Her response was still the same couldn't believe my ears.
Later told her about the nipple discharge (clear liquid) coming out when pressed. She laughed it off and said maybe it breast milk. I was very vexed and told her what's that suppose to mean, saw the vexed look on my face she then apologized that she didn't mean that way that's normal. She asked if it painful? I said no if not pressed and she gave the same response as usual.
It has been over 2months now I met the Medic but can't get it off my mind. The thought of the lump being cancerous that it'll better if the lump is examined on time has been on my mind ever since then.
Please Medics/Health Practitioners come to my aid, is the Medical Doctor right about lump not being cancerous?
Pls advice him from a distance, don't ever trust or go close to him.
Ugaboy: Hi Nairalander, You don't know how happy I am right now... after hearing a strong confession from my Lil cousin.
We both grew up in Ghetto area at Itire SURULERE, the environment is a off for any developing kid.
Thanks to my parents who took me out after primary education from the LGA.
Last time I visited, he is into drugs, smoking, touting, street fight and jobless. We only exchange greetings and no healthy conversation between us.
Recently, he has been calling to keep in touch with me and more.
Today, I called him just to check on a lust brother, the conversation was interesting. He started telling how guys are catching out in YAHOO (to me this is not the conversation I want, so I played along, to keep cool chat).
After some minutes, he told me he regreted all the wasted opportunity and times he had to become someone. He is 24 years now
...he is a secondary school drop out, his parents push him to learn skill (Spraying Vehicle & Machines) under 2 months he quit, I found job for him, he quit same week...he prefers street money, he is also known as street money and sort of names to justify street life.
Personal I never care to advise him, I kept my cool and mind my business...afterall his elder brother is not different from him.
...back to the conversation, he told me he really wants to return to school, that life is really hard and tough, he said he is a change person now and more.
I need advice from you N'Lers... should I advise him of acquiring a SKILL(not I.T pls) or SCHOOLING ( I will save money to pay his waec from my end next year)
If skill, pls what kind of good paying SKILL can I suggest for him?...I don't want barbing or vulcanizing or low income SKILL.
soberdrunk: This to me is like "deja vu", I remember how my good friend swore with his life that Jonathan will transform Nigeria in 4 years. No 'sensible' person will use a "clean" cloth to wipe "dirt", Peter Obi is a good and upright intelligent man but the present decay and corruption in Nigeria is beyond what he can handle. All this analysis and projections are easy to give when you have not entered the system, we need someone that knows the system and understands how it works to at least bring Nigeria out of the crazy situation she is in to a state where upright men with innovative ideas like Peter Obi can continue from.
If Peter Obi becomes the president in 2023 he will be so overwhelmed with Nigerias problems that many people will mistake it for "incompetence", it will take him at least 20 years before the average Nigerian will begin to feel the impact of all his many transformative ideas but someone that is already part of the system will require far less time to make major transformation. The best bet still remains Tinubu(doubtful because of age) Prof Osinbajo or Amaechi, these men are already part of the system so troubleshooting wont take them very long if their intentions are genuine.
PS- *If you cannot read to understand or analyse without sentiments then don't reply me*
