My question: An empty pool being filled with water at a constant rate takes 8 hours to fill to 3/5 of its capacity. How much more time will it take to finish filling the pool?

Oga laboz, this your question should be for the economists. Hmmmmm. . . .

First of all, let's find the S.I for a particular year i.e the S.I in a year = #225/3 = #75

Now at a compound interest of #153 at the same rate for 2yrs = #75 x 2 = #150
subtract that from the C.I = #153 - #150 = #3. . .i.e #3 extra interest over #75
Thereafter we find the %interest rate = 3/75 x 100 = 4%

Finally, denote the principal he raised in the first year as 'x';
:. 75 = 4% of x
75 = 4/100*x
7,500 = 4x
x = 1,875
:. The principal is #1,875

To check this apply the S.I = PRT/100 formula, where P = 1,875, R = 4% and T = 3 to get back #225 simple interest.

...i'm not that very good at hyperbola...but using the equation in canonical form...(x-x')²/a²-(y-y')²/b²=1...remember that the asymptotes of an hyperbola is ±b/a and the asymptotes of the question is ±3...it means b=3 and a=1...which passes through the points 4,6...substitute that to the question to get...(x-4)²/1²-(y-6)²/3²=1...(x-4)²-(y-6)²/9=1...then complete it sir...

V - Velocity of money circulation, it is fixed in circulation
P - General price level
Q - Real output of real GNP which is also fixed in the short run

Assumption 2 was stated by prof Milton Friedman that money is just one of the many ways in which wealth can be held. He also gave an equation for this sha.
