Learn to obtain the right information from the right source. One mistake most of you make is you tend to obtain study related information from our brothers who came in here through other means. These are 2 parallel milieus.

The reason for this recent development is n't clear but people think it has something to do with the Economy.

So best advise for people like you is go back to University, graduate with a first class and you might get a "Category A" slot. If you cant do that, then shut the fxxk up.

Base on my findings the school is cool and in good location but heard they are strict. Their enrollment for the course I have interest in is 27 August. Which is too close. I don't think they give enrollment extension. Got across one guy and he said since 2018 they admitted only 1 Nigeria student. Keep the hope alive it will favour us.

The school aint that strict. They have admitted more than 7 Nigerians since winter semester 2018.

You said internship not direct work. Internship is a form of learning and also working. You also said USA not CANADA. Canada policy is different. A lady studied accounting in Nigeria then migrated to Canada. She couldn’t get a job related to her course of study. Only secretary jobs. So She had to go back to school in Canada and start from year 1 just to work there.

The way u ppl address issues here, u make it seem like answering ppl'z question is a competition. I aint competing with u bro. Jst tryin to provide solution. Moreover, canada is a country of different provinces. Each province with its own law. Even after learning in province A, u might not be able to work in province B.

Talking about getting a course in ur field, its same thing everywhere bro. I know of someone in Bonn who did masters in environmental science, very fluent in german language, yet he is working in "MONEY GRAM".... This is the reason I said if ur intended course of study does not ve prospect here, think twice. 50% of what you read here on nairaland are virtual stuffs, the reality can only be decipher by you alone when you get here....

I dont know about new comers, but I know some cities are leniet enough to register old (second year masters) students with as low as 3000€.... So the best thing is look for whos in your school/city and ask if its possible for new comers......

Exactly my plan bro. It will be difficult to get work in Canada without studying there first. They mostly give jobs to those that study in their country. So the best thing to do is to apply for PhD in Canada after you are done with Msc in Germany.

It is possible cos I ve come to learn of someone who got intenship placement in the USA...... So, wat u should do is look for ppl already studying your programm in same school. They are in the best positin to answer that question. Again, let me advice Those who are willing to listen. If your intended course does not have prospect in germany and you are not from a rich family ( this surely will make it difficult to even migrate to anoda country like the USA/canada) please think twice.......

Room for rent in the city of Bonn for August and september at affordable price......... Its in the student dorm so it comes with free wifi, water and electricity...... Kindly dm if interested.....

Here in born, u cant even use a temporary german address to get work permit except a permanent address.

Anyone coming to Lagos for interview pls stay away from EXTENDED STAY GRAND HOTEL (behind Canadian Embassy)..those people are thieves, they will make u book a room online (10,500)...when u get there, they will tell u they don't have any room for that price that their room starts from 14k. ....and the rooms are absolutely not worth the money...and a plate of rice and chicken is 3k. ...as in....

Better places to stay are New world Inn(7k), even Sapper Lodge(12k)....(don't be scared about walking alone around 5:30am, that place is really okay and safe, u will even see a lot of people out at that same time, even the queue @us embassy is ridiculous)

Secondly if u are coming from abuja like me, pls ignore those hungry airport workers, they told me getting to VI cost 7k and only for me to later ask a friend and they told me it's btw 3-5k...Lagos people have problem with integrity, I swear!...don't trust anyone in Lagos...and yes their girls wear really really short things(I was shy on their behalf)and can be very very rude

Sappers lodge is not up to 12k ooo, sappers lodge has 2 major sizes of rooms. The small one which is 5k during the week and 7k during weekends, and the big one (this is a room and parlour self con) which is 7k during the week and 10k during weekends. No body goes for interview during weekends so the prices are between 5-7k.

The reason am dropping this is becos those ppl (@ sappers) will neva tell u the normal price. Your packaging determines the price they will tell u. If u like wear suit go there.


In addition to what @fustinachichi has said, sappers lodge is likely to be the safest place as its located inside bonny cantoment (who want thieve for barracks)
