That's how it is bro, after 3 months in Yobe, infantry boys (officers) will report to Jaji for selection into the special force. Others will go for YOC.

RC and SSC can be differentiated with the colour of their flashes.
SSC has only one batallion so all ssc cadets use yellow flashes.
RC have four batallion, I will list them with the color of their flashes;
1. Mogadishu battalion ..Red
2. Burma battalion ..........Pink
3. Arbysinia battalion ......Green
4. Dalet battalion ..............Brown
To differentiate the termas, they put stripes on their flashes, terma 1 one stripe, terma 2 two stripes like that like that. Appointment holders do hang golden flashes on the arm.
SSC don't have stripes on their flashes, if they wear carmo the yellow flashes will be on the chest, but if it's glasses(the name funny shaped not sure) it will be on the shoulder

Only 7 cadets out of the course for SSC can hang appointment, for you to make appointment you've to pal and pach with the prep wingers so that they can recommend you for appointment, many people do lobby for the position.

Good day everyone, SSC guys guard up, it won't be easy to put it together because some of our coursemates will throw confusion and buy job for us. SSC cadets will be training in Afaka sure banka, we might do our prep wing in ribadu.
SSC 46 have been in afaka for a month now, na terma one dey old site presently, probably during the interview we might not use drill shield, it will be the candidate village just as the 72RC are doing.
Start training gentlemen it will reduce some kind of blanket job.
For the exams it will be obj; Maths, English and current affairs, I don't know if SSC and DSSC exams will the same. There's 0.5 probability we're writing the same exams though.
Expect Gmaths, let me give you hint army will just pick one year and set the questions.
During screening we'll still write another aptitude test, that's where we'll write the essay.

Let me emphasize this for those that will make the screening, medical is the only thing that can cut your dream short, so pray and treat yourself.
God is the authentic godfather, godfather dey fail people at times.

One question I want you to ask yourself why do you want to join Nigerian Army?? is it because of lack of employment, or the uniform or to chause people or as DSSC officer na office things!!! Money no dey Army O, except you loot money(which is not good) how many people out of the course will have the opportunity to do so? DSSC officers dey frontline for North east.
The reason why you are joining the Army will do two things for you
1. Make you love the job on the long run
2. Make you hate the job on the long run
I'm not saying this to put fear in people but for you to make up your mind, no going back and also no dashing out of training if your selected because your village men won't forgive you.

Gentlemen please if you forge credentials don't manage and report for screening most especially SSC, this current RC candidates that are undergoing their screening presently; one of the candidate from IMO, I won't mention the chest number for security reasons was handcuffed today and handed over to the police for forging WAEC result. Make sure your credentials are intact, do your calculations well, if your calculations are alright you won't be dropped. Army follow what is on paper and not facial look(old face). You can't be starting primary one at age 2, check am nau?? Or finishing secondary school at age 12� O wrong nau
Some said they will allow age 28-30 to move to the next stage for SSC candidates, I laff in egba. 1992 upward will be screened out during credentials screening.

Secondly RC candidates were dropped for medicals today(some states though), some people minor issues dropped them; My advice is goan run medical test and start treating any ailment that you have, prevention is better than cure!!!

Lastly pray well so that academy will not dash you any ailment and also pray you make the final list.
If you're destined to be there you'll get there, keep pushing. One terma one nigga tried academy for 6 times, he got in on the 6th trial. Don't give up coursemates. This year is our year....

During 46 last year at Afaka, there is this tap water close to the medical entrance, I wanted to perform an ablution then there was this boy that do not pass 15 year old was putting on blue and white as a colito cus they just spent about three month then. The boy walked to me at that tap and said it with command "You, hold this thing for me!" I raised my head up to see his face E shock me! I look around other candidates where around gisting, I saw one guy through the window the guy is a therma 5, he was looking at me cuz he was communicating with the boy through the window, I collect the paper from him and he washed his hand finished from the tap and collected back his paper he gave me. When he was going I was just looking at him cuz I didn't even know what to say or do . And my fear was that if I do anything at that moments and the other thermal 5 guy mark my face and come job me for training wetin I go do . As in I just lock up, , con dey imagine am later say ordinary colito 15 year old chawuz me .

Now let me throw this question to you, candidates if you are in my shoes what will you do on that day? I need honest answers please
