Don't settle for less, I'll advise you get a brand new smartphone really, much more better than used phones that may have undetected problems. For between 25k to 30k, you can get very good phones. The itel P51 is a great choice if you are actually interested in big size battery as it comes with 5000mAh, that's about 3 days on the go when it's fully charged.

Non of the phones even have large enough size battery, like the itel P51 which has 5000mAh. At this point in time in this country, it's more about battery size ooh

What's the essence really? If you have a top smartphone with good battery like the itel P51 that would last you long, you won't have to go this length just to charge your battery

Depends....if its a phone using MTK processors...say the whole day without much of gaming..and lots of browsing...MTK are known to be poor with battery performance..like tecno and the rest.....but if its snapdragon processor ...A phone of 3500 mah can go head to head with MTKphone using 5000mah

As the Lagos State Local Government / Local Development Council election draws closer, Chairman, Lagos Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Otunba Segun Adewale has condemned allegations that Hon. Moshood Salvador has directed aspirants to seek nomination from other political parties.

It will be recalled that Lagos PDP, under the leadership of Otunba Segun Adewale, had offered those aspirants loyal to Salvador some reserved nomination slots at the poll. Adewale however described this action as a failed attempt to undermine the PDP at the polls.

Speaking with Journalists on the allegation that aspirants in the PDP loyal to Moshood Salvador and Chief Bode George may have defected into other political parties to contest in the LG election, Adewale said the party has constituted a disciplinary committee to be chaired by Alhaji Wahab Owokoniran to investigate issues surrounding such behavior.

Accordingly, the disciplinary committee is saddled with the responsibility of investigating all allegations with a view to identify those responsible and recommend appropriate punishments.
In his words, “PDP nomination forms were printed by Salvador without authorization from the National headquarters of our party. These forms were sold and the money went into private purse, not a kobo was remitted into the party’s purse. Over N33million was said to have been realized from this illegal act.

"We have credible information that those aspirants that bought these illegal forms have now defected into Labour party to contest with a PDP nomination. We can't fold our hands and allow these deliberate acts of illegalities go unchallenged. Whoever that is found culpable by the committee will be dealt with in accordance to our party's constitution and the laws of the land".

The PDP chieftain insisted that money realized from the illegal sale of nomination forms must be accounted for and refunded to the appropriate authorities. "Any member confirmed by the committee to have defected into another party at this time will have his or her membership suspended. When they come back, which is allowed, we will not entrust positions of authority to them as it is obvious they can't be trusted. Those leaders allegedly acting behind the scene to instigate this anti-party activities will also be investigated and suspended from the party if found guilty “he added.

The Chairman encouraged members to embark on aggressive membership drive towards building a new formidable PDP that derives its power from the grassroots and without imposition.

Lagos LG Poll: APDA not an option – Adewale

Chairman, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos State, Otunba Segun Adewale has said that the planned defection of some aggrieved members of the Party to a newly registered political party, The Advanced People Democratic Alliance (APDA) will further weaken democracy in the State. He posited that a formidable opposition is a necessary ingredient in any democratic setting.

Adewale, while interacting with some journalists yesterday appreciated the thoughts and efforts of his well-wishers as he clocked 51st years. He said “I am overwhelmed by the volume of goodwill messages from far and near today being my birthday. Certainly, this show of love has further reinforced my resolve to live the remaining part of my life for the benefits of mankind”.

The PDP Chairman also advised members of the PDP believed to be loyal to Moshood Salvador planning to defect into a recently registered political party to reconsider their stand in the interest of the party. “I will continue to sue for a united PDP. I have been doing this since I became the Chairman. It is not in the interest of democracy, the aggrieved and the general public for the opposition to be divided especially less than 2 months to the LG elections”. Adewale said.

According to him “the aggrieved members are acting alone. Senator Makarfi on whose behalf they claimed to be acting has since advised them to work with us towards the victory of the party in the LG polls".

Adewale restated that he is ready and willing to harmonize the LG candidates list with Salvador group before presenting same to LASIEC. “I have the mandate of our leaders in the PDP to share the LG candidates on a 50 /50 basis with them if that will ensure peace going into the polls. Our interest is to deliver Lagos grassroots to the PDP. The State Secretariat is open to all members of the party and I am available to receive their list personally at the office whenever they are ready.

"Although, all efforts to reconcile those aggrieved have been frustrated by a few disgruntled leaders that are already sold out to the ruling party in the state but we will not relent in our efforts towards repositioning the PDP for victory in Lagos State” the chairman stated.

He advised members especially the aspirants not to be deceived into defecting into a new party 2 months to election. "Selling a new party to the electorates two months to election is a near impossible task. Not to mention that the party logo maybe contested by some registered party due to its similarities". He concluded.

It would be recalled that Otunba Segun Adewale has been consistent in his effort to reconcile all aggrieved members of the party in Lagos, just as he has consistently stated that APC has failed Lagosians with its unfulfilled promises.

Following the Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC) announcement of guidelines for the forthcoming Local Governments and Local council development elections come July 2017, Lagos State Chairman of the People Democratic party, Otunba Segun Adewale said he has uncovered the ruling party, All Progressive Congress (APC) plans to rig the forthcoming LG elections in the State. He alleged that chief Bode George is using disgruntled members like one Mr. Moshood Salvador to destabilize the PDP in Lagos in order to achieve the grand plan of frustrating the party's victory at the poll.

Reacting to a press report in The Guardian Newspaper that Salvador and his illegal team have started the sale of nomination forms to unsuspecting aspirants, Adewale said "whoever that is selling nomination forms to aspirants other than my Exco is doing so illegally. They are out to defraud members that are ignorant of their grand plan to help the APC rig the LG elections in advance. Once we lay hold of any receipt for such sale of form, whoever that has authorized such sale will answer the law.

"I have said it repeatedly that our party can only achieve victory at the polls when we all work together as a united team. However, Chief Bode George and his team of desperate followers are consistently frustrating all attempts for reconciliation towards any elections. They are always quick to sell nomination forms just to defraud aspirants of their hard earn monies despite being aware that they do not have the legal backing to represent the party in Lagos State. The position of the court is clear on this. Bode George and his stooge, Moshood Salvador are scammers and men of low integrity that any serious aspirant should avoid like a virus"

It would be recalled that the chairman had earlier asked all PDP aspirants in the coming LG polls to visit the state Secretariat at 233 Abeokuta Express Way Iyana Ipaja to obtain the party's nomination forms.

Adewale said he has commenced the process to ensure that LASIEC does not for any clandestine motive deal with any impostor pretending to represent the PDP in Lagos State. "The Appeal Court judgment in Port Harcourt had laid to rest the argument as to who the National Chairman of the PDP is, until the Supreme Court says otherwise, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff remains the National Chairman of the PDP. The National Chairman had also written to INEC to recognize my Exco as the representatives of the Party in Lagos State. Every other individuals parading as the party representatives are impostors seeking to defraud ignorant aspirants".

Adewale challenged Chief Bode George and every member of his group to showcase their antecedents as regards winning elections for the party over the last 18 democratic years in Lagos. "Chief Bode George with his co travelers of failures have never delivered their wards nor polling units to the PDP since the commencement of this democratic dispensation despite the huge resources put in their hands by the then PDP national government.

The Chairman faulted the honor done to Bode George during the State 50th anniversary describing it as unmerited. "The present deal with the APC by the Salvador group seems like a payback for the unmerited recognition given to Chief Bode George during the ongoing State 50th anniversary celebration. What has he given back to the State that warranted such recognition? In my view, Chief Bode George and his followers have always benefited from the system without giving anything back. This confirms to me that Bode George has neither honor nor any standing principles at all.

"What good can a man whose wife is a beneficiary of the ruling APC done to our party the PDP? Chief Bode George is destroying the PDP as payment for his wife's retainment on the NDLEA board by the APC led Federal Government. He has always traded the lots of Lagosians for his personal good in Abuja".

Adewale warned that he will not hesitate to seek appropriately legal redress, including contempt of court, against impostors seeking to undermine court decisions. "We can no longer seat back and watch impostors deprive the PDP of its deserved victory at the polls especially at the grassroots. We have made available relevant documents to LASIEC and relevant agencies; we will now deal decisively with impostors using all legal means".
