This is tricky, permit me to brainstorm with you

Canada passport can spend up to 6 months visa free in the UK.

But can’t switch to skilled visa on visit visa.

Unless there’s an “exception” rule you’ll most likely need to apply outside the uk. With these home office delays, you’ll probably spend another 1 month plus waiting for visa.

I just had my son in Canada, the mum is PR holder there and the son is entitled to a Canadian passport but we hold a work visa here in the UK.
Can my son come with the Canada passport and convert to the work visa when he arrives or needs to apply from Canada? Thanks for the answers

We applied to change our tier 4 visa to a work sponsored visa 3 weeks ago, but our BRP expires in May next year, can we travel and come back if the new BRP doesn’t come out and can we track the application?

Do they need to show maintenance and also do the tuberculosis test? If they need to show maintenance money, can it be in Naira account or Canadian bank?

I arrived the UK on the 14th of Jan. but up till now I have not collected my BRP, I'm suppose to pick up from my sponsor which is my school. They sent me an email to inform me that they don't have my BRP, that I should contact the home office. I am suppose to travel by the end of march, but I don't think that is possible now.

According to the link and information available on .gov site, if you're arriving on Thursday, then it shouldn't apply to you but if you're arriving from 4am, on Friday, January 15, then it will.
Your best bet will be to check your travel itinerary and/or speak to your airline to move your travel date, if possible.

For those that are not aware maintenance is now £1,023 monthly. Meaning £9,207 is what you have to show if schooling outside London for applications submitted after 1st of December. Saw it on my CAS, so thought to share for those not aware.

Coventry is so slow, I have fulfilled my conditions waiting on visa funds to confirm my payment and proof of funds which they requested a new one

if anyone want to avoid this then you need to submit on or before Monday 30th 2020... but you have to make sure 28days
