At this computer age it will take a company ALMOST THREE YEARS to release a list. If you decide to be hopeful its fine but don't be hopeful and stupid.

The interview is more than four months now and Everything is meant to be computerised without any hassles.
Its been 17 months since submission of applications ended in Nov 2016. that's not nearly three years.

check the date of the final interviews and check today's date. still four months.

When a test that we started since 2016 is taking this long to be finalised. In the Nigerian context, common sense should tell anyone that a lot of things are happening under. At this computer age it will take a company almost three years to release a list. If you decide to be hopeful its fine but don't be hopeful and stupid.

Ibnmuhd. Kudos for typing the truth.
Maybe you wrote your test and had your interview in 2016 and you're tired of waiting. That would be understandable. Our own interview on the other hand was just four months ago.

Nothing wey we no go hear for this thread.

In real life, a rational person can't go into a fully packed stadium and scream "bomb" where there's no proof of one, and then say sorry after the stampede.

Even if it's a classroom with only ten people in it, they'd think it over properly before doing such.

The internet is what it is.

The era of speculation is fading, and leading to the era of motivational speaking. Out of the two, I...personally, like speculation less... It is well. It's not as if the wait so far is longer that between application submission and the test, or the test and the interview.

Hello Applicants & Expectant,

I know it has been a challenging period waiting all these months for something that should have taken less than weeks but it is the environment that we have found ourselves which we must change!

Back to the main reason, I have kept mute all these while and reading all that was said, prophecied and mentioned by many, but it will be nice to give a little advice based on my contact within the system.

First, on this recruitment process (DPR 2016), only the top management is aware of the update and don't be deceived, it may take longer than expected....it could even be towards the next election (2019)! Guess, the smart ones will know the reason.

In the interim, get to lay your hands on something that will worth your life whether you get their offer letter or not, let it be that your time is not wasted in waiting in vain. All because of this waiting, some people have missed some other opportunities!

In conclusion, what will be will definitely be even if you don't know anybody in power...."No force on earth can stop an idea whose time has come"....Victor Hugo
Hi. Have you paid your annual speculator membership fee? There's a training coming up next week on how to write long paragraphs without saying anything really meaningful. You'll fit right in.

why can't you jst leave him alone..u shld know that we are all created differently, while some will be hopeful some prefers to be realistic, we all have the right to express ourselves on this platform so why label him as depressed, moreover the one person we kind of believe receive this call was someone the guy said was VERY connected so why blame him for expressing his thought. some people are already bracing themselves to expect the unexpected by being realistic as they seemed fit. so ignore any comment that doesn't agree with u
Perhaps I should have typed something longer to show I meant no harm.

Apart from the fact that he was just sharing an opinion, he was giving us all free advice, which I decided to react to. That's my choice. Plus, his message made me sad.

It is well. Sometimes nerves get the better of us.

Hmm. So they've actually contacted some persons and they are claiming it's few. I think it's time to start preparing our minds to move on cos If we are all claiming the recruitment is fair because we were allowed to do test and interview and nearly all candidates were asked who you know in govt or dpr which is irrelevant to your skill and prowess to get the job done. I am not trying to be pessimistic here but I can deduce that a very high majority of the people contacted are well connected because we are close to 2,000 persons here on nairaland who readers and visitors inclusive and none of us got the call, that's not a good sign for merit if you ask me because tens of people must have been contacted.

With all these above, lets use our tongue to count our teeth and prepare our minds or activate our plans B,C,.......

Good morning and God bless everyone. Continue the prayers and optimism but at the same time be objective, realistic and wise.
You sound more depressed than realistic. Take it easy, it is well.

So na these kin torture una go tru for here before interview shocked shocked

The university of savagery keeps bringing out new people everyday. You won't even know when you applied, you just wake up one day and realise you've graduated. That you don't have time for nonsense.

I think most people used their residential lga...they (dpr) shld be aware of it, since I can't be from one state and have lga in another state. maybe it doesn't mean much (state of origin is the real deal) or maybe not..there is not much we can do about it
Yes I believe/hope Snapnet and DPR are aware. Because what's there now is a different format from what it used to be. Now you can actually choose your LGA of origin. Give it a try.

Hi people. Did we indicate our local government of origin while applying? I'm not sure. The one on the portal is linked to residential address. And they didn't take copies of our state of origin identification letters either.

I'm tired of replaying my interview in my head. GT applicant. Lagos. I was asked about 15 questions, of which maybe five were school and work related.

They played good cop-bad cop. Actually, they were both serious, but one of them was more serious. I was calm. The questions though... One the answers was 'wizkid and davido'. Then another question was about corruption in Nigeria. Plus stuff about my TV and internet habits, buhari's travels, and the usual "any relative in DPR?/any questions for us".
I answered all. About twice bad cop asked for a deeper/longer answer to his questions. e.g. the corruption thing.
I was probably their first that morning.
The observer was just observing and probably grading.
May grace speak for us.

Hi everyone. During the interview one of the panelists sat some distance beside me, instead of opposite me. He avoided eye contact and he didn't say a word throughout. He was probably observing my 'body language'. Did it happen to you guys too?
InvestmentRe: MMM: If The Scheme Is Not Living On Debt, Then Where Are The Monies Stucked In? by osemeka: 12:15pm On Jan 17, 2017
I visited the MMM website for the first time three days ago. I can't count the number of disclaimers i saw on the website telling participants that it was not an investment program, and that they could possibly lose everything, while emphasizing the use of 'spare money' only. (what is spare money? any amount of money you feel you can give and not be bothered if you don't get it back?) It's like all those 'terms and conditions' they ask us to read when we want to do stuff online. Most times we just skip it and click 'yes', finish.
Now that the scheme is back, it is very possible that people being owed lower amounts are being paid. I don't doubt that. We shouldn't be quick to call people liars when they say they have been paid. These amounts we're seeing in the screenshots on this thread are quite little in the grand scheme of things. Anyone who has N500,000 stuck in there however, may not be so quick to defend MMM as many of the people here are doing. The same goes for someone I know who put a million. But I think this MMM issue has been overflogged on nairaland already. We need to see other things. I would have preferred a single thread running into tens or hundreds of pages, (like those of job recruitments, where everybody can gist and get tired) rather than a new thread on the same matter every hour or two.
