at the beginning of the year I postponed one important decision because of February speculation. Jesus knows that since then I haven't tried that kind of nonsense again ![]() to anyone desperately depending on speculations to give his or her life meaning, if you stare too long at a closed door you might end up missing the open door. it is well. |
HRtechnique:no disrespect, but did you receive this information between the hours of 12:30am and 4:00am while asleep on your bed? |
XndX:if they change it and put your name that wasn't there before won't you be happy and go and do thanksgiving. let's have open minds. let's not act like we know what is happening. for we actually know not, and know not that we know not. |
chideozi:reading this cost me two minutes of my time that I can never get back. i wonder how many minutes it took to type it though. |
ppl keep dropping job adverts here because to keep up with this thread one has to be either unemployed or underemployed, with the way the pages increase like kilode. when this is all over i pray we don't find ourselves in a such a situation again, stuck on another thread, dropping comments from morning to night. when I'm not the mod or something, or not using it to make money. |
osemeka:well. not surprised. the only thing that ever surprised me on this thread were the poems sha. I never expected that. |
for every speculator who feeds our hopes there will also be another speculator who feeds our fears. let us eat and grow fat. sure, why not...it's free food ![]() |
faith faith faith everywhere. the medicine for uncertainty is verifiable information, not faith. faith is just like vitamin c. lick lick lick, cos it tastes sweeter than truth which is bitter. i was listening to the radio show ystd when the guy called in concerning the recruitment. the way they replied the question, that was simple, that was bitter and that was truth. but when we have a dozen ppl saying 'my source knows better than yours', someone somewhere is not telling the truth. meanwhile when you finally start work someday and see our saint in human skin in real life dont go and be calling him Mr Tata. Lol. |
salesani88:good idea |
xxkape:Today is Sunday. Biko shift one side small with this your pit and your hell everytime. |
Marvel64:you're welcome. I beg to differ though. the day APL comes out is all that matters. whether typo full the letter or not. but seems no one can get that date right. till then we do what we do best. some of us may remember how it was for nysc posting and primary assignment... it is till you see the letter. and now the stakes here are way higher. tomorrow someone may wake up and say the recruitment has been cancelled thanks to petroleum industry bill or that stakeholders have frustrated Saint Tata's efforts; and everyone will jump and start agreeing with him. and for good reason too. why? because crowd mentality is a fickle thing. MMM comes to mind. it is well. let's hope for the best... |
I don't understand anymore. we're all stuck in a huge dark locked room looking for a way out. a fellow opens the door, comes in to save us, says he's got a torchlight, but can't put it on cos we may get blinded by the light having been in the dark so long. from there he starts telling us a history of how the torchlight was made. our saviour could shine the torch at the door (speculate a date for APL) and let us do the rest. but we're all busy asking how the torch was made. |
futureenergy:this your post made sweet sense. you've just lifted me from the weak state super eagles left me in. |
sometimes I feel like commenting but I don't know what to say, cos everybody has already said everything twice... three times sef, or maybe four or five. well...about the godfather thing, giving slots to people is not just about how powerful the politician is. in a situation of limited slots the question the recruiter may ask himself is how grateful would that godfather be for what I did and how can he help me in future. one good turn deserves another, otherwise all man for himself. smaller connections can even get slots before bigger ones. anybody can be disappointed. it is well. |
Marvel64:the question is, "who" is Mr Tata? it'd make it easier to confirm if he's on seat or not when he's being talked about. thanks for sharing. let's hope for this month |
balisco:she actually described her interview long ago, it was as unpredictable as anyone else's, but her interviewers emphasised on d.o.b. her point of view about aptitude tests is not impossible. aptitude tests test people equally. interviews can be harder to grade. in a five minute session, two panelists who are career professionals rather than HR staff could end the interview with strongly different views about the same candidate. not sooo many ppl are actually meant to attend a final interview. DPR could afford it that's all. govt money. normal companies, their HR budget is not awoof per say. but at the end of the day, they say FCC is still the main thing. |
Jeez. Why'd we all bother applying in the first place if we're gonna sit behind keyboards and whine from morning to night. I know ppl who I sent this application to and they said, no thanks. I created profiles for some and they didn't bother submitting. our political office holders, some get there through connection, while others got there through real life activism and agitation for what was right, but now they're all living large together. whining behind keyboards never helped anybody. |
Futuristic100:more information is always welcome. if you help us confirm, that would be awesome. |
bros in need... no be only you dey answer ezeanaka. dat apl fit be another person own. hehehe. ![]() |
**testing the mic, 1, 2.... ehen. You see, we keep begging people to speculate... begging, no be small beg. Leading them into temptation and then we complain when they do it and they don't get it right. Is this pattern really useful any more? If one hears letters are shared and one didn't get a mail, a text, or an update on the portal, what would the person do.... come to the thread and look for his name? go to DPR office and complain? or ask someone to help copy the list from FCC and post it here? One is better off doing a personal vigil. wake up in the morning, check your email, check your portal, get on with your productive life. Repeat the same the next day, and so on. It is well**passes mic to the July crew |
sometimes it's easy to come here, look, pretend you didn't see anything, and go away... and sometimes it's not. ![]() DPR house of commotion. Normal recruitment na only like hundred and something ppl dey attend final interview, after dem been don test say their head dey normal. ![]() but instead, DPR been come carry you, carry me, carry almost 4000 other people, come put us for one dark room, come switch off light. naturally some ppl will claim to see better then others even though they may not be seeing at all. but abeg once they begin share torchlight, whether na this month, next month, next year...no go begin dey shine am for another person face. just collect, praise the praisables, and move on. tis well. |
rastaLivity:abeg snap picture of the APL wey you don see, share am with us if you get biko. but testimonies shouldn't include "I heard", or "my friend got", or "I know someone that knows someone that". choir please give us a special number. God bless any testifiers as they come forward to enlighten us ![]() but don't break out hearts too much |
TDultimate:most def bro. true talk. however words are just words. i don't type my msgs with a frown on my face. I bet benedict ezeanaka chukwuma is laughing as well. |
Ghostofspata:Spare yourself the stress my brother. When someone is dead they don't know that they're dead. It's the people who are still alive that are affected by the death. The same applies to when someone is stupid. |
A coward dies many times before his death, while the brave taste death but once. Let us not be cowards while hiding under the blanket of being 'realistic'. Since 2016 there's no story we haven't heard, but here we are. As it stands, if only 8 or 9 people are to be taken from each state, can one beat his/her chest and say: "Yes! I'm sure I was the fifth or sixth in my state in the whole Nigeria." God's grace is there, great, but if you ask ppl who didn't make it past the test they'll probably tell you that the interview invites weren't based on merit. What will be will be. I hope we can just wait for the newly speculated date and not turn this place into a feeling station. |
newspapers get paid to speculate within reasonable limits. unlike us who do it for free and still exaggerate on top. in some banks recruitment, people who had interviews at the same time may have their training months apart. within those months, the bank already considered those people employed even if those people didn't know it. all that was left was for them to get the training invite. it is well. |
henroo2003:it's nice that you're willing to share these details with us. but can you prove it. otherwise your claim remains unproven. which is what I said. I'm not asking you to prove it if you don't want to. that's up to you. otherwise my statement is still correct. thanks. |
phodio:Hi. You haven't missed out on anything since the interview. As far as we know, DPR hasn't reached out in any form to any GT/EH candidate. And nothing in the last 100 pages of this thread has proven otherwise. |
E get one guy here wey suppose distribute speculator ID card by close of business today. Bros I hope say the ID card big like certificate, like A4, or foolscap... make we fit dey recognise them from far. |
What shall it profit a man to correctly predict the date APL's are coming out and not get one at the end. I expect anyone with legit sauce, stew, or okro soup to be making coded moves to check if there's a list and if their name is on it; and not to come be here and be forming African Jesus... just belieeeeeeve. ![]() |
hammer2010:The 'flavoured' ones nko? Those ones wey get 'sauce' everywhere. They should be congratulated too. |
