hmmmmmm let them deny it all they wajt.... what happened in Edo state was no election but sharing of votes poo smellls |
oga OP, what you wrote is total poo... I mean, serious poo. I don't blame you at all, just ur misinformed brain. how can you say this present screening is good. do you know how much candidates suffered, queuing in lines for long period just to submit their credentials. Infact, this system is worst of it all: It encourages serious malpractice in ssce, jamb, and buy buy admission as it was before the introduction of postutme. infact , if u don't know someone, ur chances of getting admission is near zero unless u have deep pocket. #PullDownThisThread... ***mind you, am already in university** |
Unannounced, Facebook Founder, Mark Zuckerberg sneaked into Nigeria without any protocol or heavy security officials from the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) or any other world class security agency. The 32-year-old tech entrepreneur who is the seventh richest man in the world with total assets based of $55.74B to meet with tech entrepreneur has been seen in major streets of Lagos meeting with people young chaps, jugging on the popular Ikoyi Bridge, meeting with Nollywood actors and holding events with techpreneurs and many more. The question is does the Facebook Founder has any security protecting him against any attack? The social-media company shelled out $5 million last year to make sure its co-founder and CEO had protection around the clock, according to regulatory filings. Maybe Zuckerberg really does need protection, after ISIS earlier this year threatened him and Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey. Either Zuckerberg is paranoid or there are far fewer people out to get powerful Apple CEO Tim Cook — whose company spent relative chump change of $209,151 on his safety last year, the filings show. And Twitter spent only $68,500 last year to keep Dorsey safe. “Because of the high visibility of our company, our compensation and governance committee has authorized an overall security program for Mr. Zuckerberg to address safety concerns due to specific threats to his safety arising directly as a result of his position as our founder, chairman and CEO,” Facebook’s filing states. “We require these security measures for the company’s benefit because of the importance of Mr. Zuckerberg to Facebook, and we believe that the costs of this overall security program are ¬appropriate and necessary.” The 2015 budget to protect Zuckerberg was actually down from the $6.2 million spent for his security in 2014, filings show. In 2013, Facebook spent some $3.2 million on security for its leader, meaning that three years of keeping Zuckerberg out of harm’s way has added up to about $14.4 million. The security package includes bodyguards, private-jet travel and maintenance of alarms, cameras and other equipment at his residences, documents show. The Post’s Page Six exclusively reported in February that Zuckerberg had 16 bodyguards working in shifts to trail him. Zuckerberg is married to his Harvard sweetheart, pediatrician Priscilla Chan, and they’re the parents of a 5-month-old daughter, Maxima. The 32-year-old tech pioneer is worth $44.6 billion and is the youngest person on the Forbes list of the 10 wealthiest people in the world. Zuckerberg isn’t the only Facebook big to get major protection. The company said it also shelled out nearly $1.3 million last year to make sure Chief Operating Officer Sheryl Sandberg was properly safeguarded, regulatory filings reveal. http://banewsmedia.com/if-you-think-zukerbergs-visit-to-lagos-is-not-protected-read-this/

The news which made the rounds at the weekend of a huge python which was killed in Anambra state has sparked controversy on the social media as an indigene of the state said each python represents one human life. A Facebook user identified as Ogbujianyim ChiukwuEmeka Nwokedi, said the killing of a python in the state could diabolically lead to the demise of a human being. This was just as a group of men from the Enugu Ukwu part of the state (boundary point with Ebonyi state) butchered a python during the weekend and prepared it for cnsumption. Nwokedi, on his Facebook page shared a story of how the killing of pythons is affecting their own lives. He wrote: “Traditional Nwokedi said and warned: If Anambra people, especially those calling themselves Christians will not stop Enugwu people from killing Anambra Python, too much people will die in Anambra and Anambra people will be wondering who is killing us. “One Python is one person’s life; the more they kill them, the more you bury your loved ones. Another indigene of the state, Tony said this: “I’m an indigene of Nri and in respective towns, if a python enters the house of anybody; climbs on top of his bed, the owner of the house will simply collect the creature and drop it somewhere outside the compound without harming it. “If a stranger deliberately kills a python in Okija, the natives according to Ujummadu would advise such a person to give a befitting burial to the creature, and if the person refuses, he or she stands the risk of dying mysteriously within one year.” Checks by DAILY POST suggest that the people of the state have a tradition that forbids the killing of snake. It is believed that by killing a snake, one desecrates the land, as snake killing in the area is a taboo and no amount of civilization can change that part of their culture – ‘worshiping of python.’ Although, several churches have made attempts to put an end to the alleged bizarre norm, all efforts have been abortive. In a chat with DAILY POST, the son of one of the traditional rulers in a clan in Anambra state who simply identified himself as Afam, told our reporter that “If you mistakenly kill a snake, you will simply appease the gods or face the consequences. Before now, a man called all kinds of pastors to pray for his family. He, however, invited the wrath of the gods when his three kids died mysteriously.” While some have described the belief as barbaric, that such laws should only concern pagans, not Christians, Afam said, “Tradition is tradition.” http://dailypost.ng/2016/08/15/snake-kill-represents-life-anambra-man-laments-killing-pythons-photos/ cc: lalasticlala stop eating the ancestors

Gernot Rohr's side recorded a win against the Jos based outfit with the English based forward netting a double in the encounter played on Wednesday evening. Nigeria's senior national team defeated Plateau United 3-0 in a friendly match played on Wednesday ahead of Sunday's 2018 World Cup qualifier match against Zambia in Ndola. A brace from substitute Alex Iwobi plus Anderson Esiti strike handed Gernot Rohr's men a comprehensive victory over the Jos based side at the National Stadium, Abuja. Esiti's strike in the 39th minute got the Super Eagles in front after Ahmed Musa's severally missed clear cut chances against his former side. In the 57th minute, substitute Iwobi doubled the lead for the Rohr’s men thanks to the combined midfield brilliance of John Obi Mikel and Ogenyi Onazi. The Gunners youngster added his second of the game after firing in from a close range encounter at the death to complete the rout.
