Education / Re: Consistency: The Secret To Achieving A Fulfilled Year. by Osogs(m): 7:19pm On Dec 30, 2015

Perfection of effort is not required, by the way. It is the consistency of attempting to work that brings the progress. It’s like anything else. If I want to tone muscle, lifting a ten-pound weight a few times every day will move me toward my goal much quicker than hoisting a fifty-pound barbell once a week. Yes, it really is true: “Slow and steady wins the race.” Just try a little, every day. You’ll see..

Yes....that's right.
Education / Consistency: The Secret To Achieving A Fulfilled Year. by Osogs(m): 5:24pm On Dec 30, 2015
A successful man once said to achieve success is not a big deal but to maintain the success is the real deal.

Everybody on this planet Earth has at least once achieve success at one thing or the other. But the difference between ordinary people and successful ones is simply the consistency.

Students don't give a damn about someone that was able to pull of an A-score in a course but when it becomes A in 9 of 9 courses, the person is respected. Especially if the person is able to replicate it a couple of semesters.

This is strongly evidenced in football. The top guns in football leagues don't just get there due to some couple of wins or performing exceedingly well in a season and not been able to keep up with the success next season. They have consistently proven themselves that it is now unanimously agreed that they are great clubs. Examples are Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Manchester United to mention but a few.

This also applies to the players, the big names such as Ronaldo and Messi didn't get to where they are today due to just a great season of football but years of it. Little wonder at how ridiculous the statement was when Hazard was compared to the greats due to how well he performed last season, unfortunately he can't seem to replicate the form this season.

You can work assiduously to be successful at something , but being able to replicate it, is where the real work is and which shows that the success is not a fluke.

I guess lack of consistency is also the reason why a once wealthy person can become poor. When he can no longer consistently produce his wealth.

As the new year strolls into our lives, let's try to be more consistent.
New year resolutions comes with this season, but without consistency in acting out the resolutions they would fatally fail.

If there is one thing to add to the new year let it be consistency in whatever little thing you do.

But even after the season, will a big club move guarantee him regular playtime?

That will be up to him to choose wisely a club he believes will give him more playing time.

Some guys were reasoning whether it is right for him to move to a bigger club now or remain in Watford where he enjoys regular football. What do you guys think?

The best thing for him will be to wait till the end of the season.
Sports / Is It A Must That Van Gaal Should Use Rooney? by Osogs(m): 12:35am On Dec 29, 2015
For the umpteenth time this season we see a Man Utd team that is good at having possession but can't seem to do anything with it.

Although the fans would have loved entertaining games , but if the possession game brings us wins, who cares (at least for the mean time.....lolz).

I belief every body will agree that if Martial is in the No 9 position there will be more shots on target and possibly more goals, looking at the chances he manages to create even from the wings. And with Herrera in the No 10 position (because he is unarguably better than the the present Rooney in that position), it will be a different ball game entirely.
I think Van Gaal also knows this and that is why he uses Herrera in the No 10 position but to accommodate Rooney he moves Martial to the wings thereby allowing Rooney to top strike. But unfortunately the result has not been forthcoming.

Although it is obvious he is in a quagmire concerning the skipper Rooney, but must he continue to use him at the expense of a better game for the team?

" lack of depth" in ur last paragraph summarises it all.... they hav been very impressive though, but to stay in that top four, they are gonna need a better experienced attacking duo than vardy and mahrez. claudio rinery is a fantastic manager to mount title challenge for any club that employed his services, but with Leicester city, they are gonna need the whole Buddhist priest in this world to work any miracle! lolz

About the Budhist priest I think they are already heeding your advice........lolz

He is joking. With him blaming the players for the loss in the last game I think he is treading Mourinho's path. The time is against him.
I belief tomorrow's match if lost might be the stroke that break the Camel's back. Well all depends on the board at Man utd.

the begining of their end at the top of the table started yesterday, I can bet my B.sc certificate they wont be in top four come march ending.... u kno why, its been long they taste defeat this season, reason they generated so much confidence that got them to this point. Besides, they aint champion like the big guns in epl (chelsea, man u, mancity who usually bounce back at crucial point in the season when they are being defeated), I ddnt mention arsenal as a big gun in the title contest not only because they hav not been a threat in the epl title race over the years, but also they dont really live up to expectation when it matters most; u should understand my argument better if u are able to tell the reason why an in-form arsenal who dusted mancity in their previous outing lost to a Southampton side who hav not won a match in their last 5 outings( lost 4, drew 1 in the process) , when they kno winning the match yesterday would hav taken them to the summit. Leicester just need 2 more defeat or 3draws in the next 3weeks and their dominance at the top of epl table would be history.

Touche. Of course if they loose their next match or some couple of matches with losses and/or draws they are going to loose that top position.

But on a second thought if that happens but the other teams refuses to win (lolz), then they will still be in the title contention. An example of this was what happened yesterday. They lost but they are still leading the table.

But with all happening I belief that when injuries kick in, they will be no where to be found due to their lack of depth.

You're making it sound like Leicester city has been topping the league since 1842........talking about "OVERTHROWING".....It only applies to those in power,It's champions that get overthrown, Not league leaders for the past 2 WEEKS......I'm not talking them down, they're actually here for real business like how athletico Madrid stunned Spain....But We'll refer back to this thread when the season is over

Okay. We shall see at the end of the season.
Sports / Who Is Ready And Prepared To Overthrow Leicester City? by Osogs(m): 2:07pm On Dec 27, 2015
Again and again it seems there is no club in the Barclays Premier League that has the balls, neither the temerity nor the capability to lead the table except obviously Lecester city.

One would have thought that with Leicester loosing their match to Liverpool, the Arsenal match would be a no brainer for them (especially after their commanding win over Man City) with the incentive that winning the match takes them to the top of the table but amazingly yet surprisingly (tautology intended) the game was lost and to add icing to the cake it was an embarrassing 4-0 defeat!!!! What the heck?

I remember Man utd once had the opportunity to be at the top of the table but unfortunately they couldn't help themselves but to throw it to the dogs.

At this point I need to confess that if Leicester eventually wins the Barclays premier league, I will not be surprised.
