You don't need to return to Nigeria except of course you have genuine reason to do that. Immigrant visa presupposes you won't be coming back to your home country. It's a license to live and work in the host country legally. In some instances, a return ticket might be cheaper than a one-way ticket. I have checked with some major airlines plying that route and discovered that a one-way ticket to the US from Nigeria is cheaper. Investigate though before you purchase.
oga gentiger a.k.a authenticate....lol,it bin a long tym bro av nt bin feelin ok....i was happy wen i saw ur postdt u've colectd ur visa,m so happy 4 yha...congrats sir..@temmy i hail o@all one love to you,we goin places..God bless u.s.a n 9ja. |

Five persons who were natives of Efut Obot Ikot village in Bakassi peninsularhave been killed by the Cameroon Gendarmes who invaded the area and sacked more than 1000 Nigerians who elected to remain in the peninsular. A press release made available to Journalists and signed by Eyo Eyo, Chief Press Secretary to the Chairman of Bakassi local government council, indicated that the people were “forcefully ejected by Cameroonian authorities in total violation of the Green Tree Agreement which was signed in 2005 between the two countries. “As we speak, another refuges problem has hit Cross River as those who were forced out by Cameroon are now putting upin the temporary refugee camp in Akwa Ikot Eyo in Akpabuyo local government area of Cross River State”. Our reporter who visited thecamp Monday reports that the crowd was in danger of epidemic due to inadequate sanitary facilities. Even at that, two women have already put to birth in such unhealthy condition in the refugee camp. Throwing more light on the invasion, a spokesman for the displaced people, Chief Asuquo Etim Asuquo said theCameroonian authorities invaded the village and accused Nigerians there of being militants. He said five people died in the process while several others were wounded. Chief Asuquo added that several people were arrested and taken away by the Cameroonian authorities and that it was not clear what their fate would be in Cameroon prisons. His words: Many of us were away on fishing while others had gone to the farm when Cameroon soldiers suddenly invaded our village, Efut Obot Ikot. Those who were at home were brutally manhandled, many arrested and some have lost their lives”. According to him, the people have now completely lost their source of livelihood, stressing that they would like to go back to their ancestral home if only Nigeria authorities would work out modalities for their safety in the Bakassi peninsular which has now become Cameroon’s territory. In his reaction, Chairman of Bakassi local government area, Dr Ekpo Ekpo Bassey, described the development as very pathetic and called for the federal government’sintervention. “Such cases and other security challenges are now rampant in the area. The action of the Cameroonian authorities is a violation of the Green Tree Agreement which guarantees sovereignty for Nigerians wishing to remain in the peninsular and the rights to their sources of livelihood,” he stated http://pillarnews.com/pnews/?p=672 |

Haters of israel go to hell |
The field was discovered in 2009, and a larger field was found in the Mediterranean shortly afterwards [EPA] Natural gas from the Tamar field off Israel's Mediterraneanshores has started flowing, the first step towards Israel possibly becoming an energy-exporting country within the next few years. The discovery in 2009 led to an exploration frenzy in the Levant Basin - shared between Israel, Cyprus and Lebanon - and the uncoveringof a second bigger find, Leviathan, which prompted Israel to set up a natural gas wealth fund. Tamar alone is expected to meet the country's natural gas needs for decades. "Today [we begin] independence in Israeli naturalgas. It is an enormous achievement for the Israeli economy and the start of a new era," said Israeli billionaire Yitzhak Tshuva, the controlling shareholder in Delek Group, one of the partners in Tamar on Saturday. The gas should lead to a reduction in production costs for state utility Israel Electric Corp., as well as a decline in the price of electricity, the Israeli water and energy ministry said last week. A statement from the production partners, who saidthey had invested $3bn in developing Tamar, estimated the new gas supplies would save Israel's economy, which relies heavily on oil imports,$3.6bn per year. Texas-based Noble Energy holds 36 percent of Tamar. 'Independence in the energy sector' Noble's chairman and CEO, Charles Davidson, said bringing Tamar to production in four years was a"transformational achievement" and that the field's partners would now work to invest in increasing piping capacity. "Building on this success, we will work with our partners and the government to sanction the next phase of development at Tamar and thedomestic phase of Leviathan,"Davidson said. Israeli prime minister Binyamin Netanyahu highlighted the achievement in a statement issued by his office. "We are taking an important step towards independence in the energy sector. In the past decade we have promoted Israel's gas sector and this will enhance Israel's economy and benefit all the country's citizens," he said. Tamar is located 90km off Israel's northern coast and has an estimated 10 trillion cubic feet of gas. Development of Tamar and Leviathan will make Israel lessdependent on energy imports, but the country has said it willalso allow a significant amountof its natural gas to be exported. Tamar has already signed a number of large deals, including one to supply as much as $23bn of natural gas to Israel Electric Corp. and$4bn worth to units of conglomerate Israel Corp. http://www.aljazeera.com/news/middleeast/2013/03/2013331113117512770.html |

Arewa Youths Urge Northern Governors To Grant AmnestyTo Boko Haram The national leadership of Arewa Youth Forum (AYF), at the end of an emergency meeting today in Kaduna urged the 19 Northern Governors to shun PresidentGoodluck Jonathan’s antics and grant amnesty to Boko Haram and all the other groups responsible for the restiveness in Northern Nigeria. In a statement signedby its president, Gambo Ibrahim Gujungu, AYF said that this position has becomeexpedient because the Northis on the verge of “extinction and collapse,” and that there may no longerbe a Northern Nigerian region as a political and geographical entity within thelarger Sovereign State of Nigeria. Full text of the statement: “The Arewa Youth Forum (AYF) held an emergency meeting in Kaduna today (22nd March 2013) where theforum extensively discussed the State of the Nation and as well the ongoing challenges and possible crises of extinction threatening Northern Nigeria. We have been following with utter dismay and despair howPresident Goodluck Jonathan's led Federal Government has been playingpolitics and exhibiting such sophistry and a high sense of insensitivity in handling the Boko Haram insurgency and further compounding the series of challenges confronting Northern Nigeria. “As at today, our economy isgone; the aged-long togetherness of Northern Christians and Muslims is totally gone. There is also nopolitical cohesion in the North. And there is no sign that this ugly trend can be contained, if the Federal Government continues its flagrant display of insensitivity and nonchalancethen, we will be threading thepath of fire and bloodshed. It is based on all these concerns that Arewa Youth Forum resolves as follows: “That the 19 Northern State Governors, should as a matter of preserving the Northern Nigerian region from extinction and attaining a Failed State status, grant AMNESTY to the Boko Haram sect and all other groups responsible for the restiveness in Northern Nigeria. This is important, all Northern Governors, members of National and State Assemblies must rise, roll their sleeves because if the situation persists, there may not be a Northern Nigerian region again as a political and geographical entity in the larger SovereignState of Nigeria. “The politicization of the Boko Haram issue has done more damage than good to the reality of the situation. In view of the fact that despite all the brouhaha, the solutionhas not been found owing to the deliberate politicization by governments, religious organizations, elite, security agencies and all parties involved. It is clear that all parties involved in this matter are not sincere, hencewe beseech all parties to fear God and separate ego and face reality, going by theexcruciating situation ordinary Northerners are going through. “Finally, the Northern Governors should bear in mind that posterity will hold them accountable if they fail to act fast, being the sub-heads of the region. It must be sincere, honest and without recourse to religious differences, rather act fast and save the best for the last.” http://sunnewsonline.net/news/youths-urge-northern-governors-to-grant-amnesty-to-boko-haram |
