I wrote what a staff told me.
The truth is, only the DG knows when you guys will come in as all the staff are confused now.
Clearance will run till 7th/10th, which means this week may not be visible again. Except the DG makes a U turn before Sat.
I just hope what the soldiers told me in camp isn't what is gonna happen.

I imagined how life in a high institution is, I have been through one. I also imagined how to deal and relate with females in dire need of go. what of those that will want to sort me, what of those stubborn guys, little did I know that education in Kano is different from what is obtainable anywhere in the world. I recently realised the type of life they lead in Kano state, it seems all my imagination is going to be in vain.


We were sent to the high institution corpers lodge, unlikely/luckily to us there is another college of institution close to our lodge. My colleagues were happy, they were about to be a sexual activists …, the accommodation wasn't too good nor too bad. we met with batch B corpers, they actually welcomed us with a fight between themselves. what led to it is a topic for another day.

I want to point out that things are not cheap in Kano state as people thought, only two things are cheap here: bread and onions. other things are costly. Light is also a problem and heat here is too much. I bath 4 to 5 times a day and my soap finishes every 3 days. I will relate them to other things very shortly.

My fellow PCM, I do not know where to begin my statement after watching the Live show on NTA about youth development... Wow it is a shame, this is really a prototype of how bad and manipulating our govt could be. I could boldly say the show was meant to divert our attention on embarking on that journey of our peaceful protest today, and also they tried to fool us by beating around the bush tending to a matter which they could never solve today or maybe never instead of the one they should solve today which is that of our matter..I could recall when a caller made mention of the NYSC stream2 not yet in camp and STream 1 are already at their ppa, how could there be an arrangement for the stream 1 and no arrangement for stream 2, he was shortly cut off of the conversation from the control room and moreover to maneuver the whole matter/situation, the DG finally said, we will be in camp by nextweek OR soon. (What does he mean by OR SOON) I sense uncertainty!.
PS. I think the DG is just a figure head cos he was just smiling while the minister was addressing and answering mostly all the questions directed to the DG.

protests gonna do us more harm than good. I think most of us in support of that are immature and inpatient. despite that we will have our POP same day with S1 and our allowance to be paid on missed months. u guys should pls throw away that protest idea let us be patient its too early to protest when NYSC management has already issued us with an apology. let us allow them do their job jor. I will only join u when one month passed without a new date. thank you. NB whatever God has destined for each of us NYSC can't stop it from happening.

If you wana know, I am the Overall Parade Commander in my camp, therefore I interact with all the soldiers in my camp. They told me that Stream 2 might be shifted because of the fasting, which I wrote here. So I didn't fabricate it.
I am also praying they look for a way to stand with the known timetable, cos of my friends.
lastly, I don't comment much on Nairaland but I sleep and wake up in Nairaland.
