owhobrus:
you guys are obviously Igbos, when you guys start some senseless researches that do not concern you and will not add to your growth, it shows how jobless a person can be. if the ikwerre people in Rivers Sate start being hostile to your people ona go start to give us bad names, why not just mind your business. the day we say we are igbos, cool, and if we don't it ain't your concern. infact, if ikwerre na igbo, where the igbos come from? if we stoleyour language, where did yours come from? come on, comot the thing wey dey your eyes before u comot another person own.
Is this all you've got to prove you aren't Igbo(according to you)? Come on!

A frenchman may choose not to identify with anything french, but he is still french whether he likes it or not.

I spend a couple of times listening to Duncan Mighty's album(a singer of ikwerre origin) some months back, I still dont see what is not Igbo about this dude.

No one is forcing you to admit you're Igbo, but dont say you are not without sensible proofs. That's stupidity at it's best.

If Dokubo is ACN, what did anyone expect him to say? Do you expect him to Lambast the ACN demigods instead of PDP? Only Ngige can lambast Tinubu and Fasola. He got the balls.
Fact. All these Yoruba are so brainwashed to the extent they allow soap get into their eyes while in a pool of water.

They can as well pack their bags and migrate back to where they came from.

I'll be willing to donate toward their transportation if they need financial assistance.

This is one of the consequences of growing too much ganja plants in a state.

NDLEA needs to relocate their HQ to Ekiti state before mad folks take over the state. Smh
PoliticsRe: Se Politicians Should Quit Fighting For Positions And Start Developing The Se by otapiapia: 3:40pm On Jul 07, 2011
ZnO:
Rochas should work with his party until 2014. He should thereafter, in agreement with his party, decamp to PDP (afterall, APGA supported GEJ now) to try his hands once again at the presidency
If he contests under APGA, he will fail like Ribadu and Buhari
Remember in 2007, he came second in the PDP primaries, beating everyone else but Yaradua
So he has a good following countrywide
Igbos should learn to be ruthless in politics. That is how the SW and North plays it. Igbos should stop being sissies when it comes to playing politics the SWestern and Northern way.

I soon will be pumping out series of enlightenment articles to be published in newspapers, not nairaland, where non-cyber going Igbos leaders can see and read
That's an obvious secret that anyone conversant with Nigeria's politics should know. APGA lacks the structure to win a presidential election. He should ignore those dreamers west of the Niger. They'll realize where follow-follow politics leads one to very soon.

I would also love to see Chime coming into the fray for the PDP primaries.

2015 seems attainable, only that some of these Igbo elites are very disappointing at times.

As long as the SW is kept out of all major political offices for a very long time, all is fair.

But is this woman not a Yoruba(Yooroobaa . . . lol!) woman. Mrs. Stella Oduah-Ogiemwonyi, everything about the surname is Yoruba or somehow Edo or one of those Ewedu soup people lol!. Please can someone give me a lecture on the history(her story  = herstory . . . lol!) of this woman.

Thank you.

NB: All my sarcastic remarks are plain sarcastic, I love Yoruba people.
Does it matter if she's yoruba as long as she gets the job done.

Actually, she's from a royal family in Onitsha.

ekt_bear:
She had a Yoruba lover? Lmao, the plot thickens!
And so what? Why are your minds turned upside down.

The union is even inter-tribal(her maiden name is Tess Iyi Oniga=non-Igbo woman).

The man is not as tribalistic as you folks are painting it. Try to consider all facts before jumping into conclusions.

logica:
Further this part of his statement provides some clues on the kind of man he is:

"I discovered that Mrs Wigwe had brought her male lover, a Nigerian of Yoruba tribe, to live with her and the children in the family house."

Why did he have to indicate where the lover was from? [b]It seems he's trying to draw sympathy from some of his "crew" (if you know what I mean) - those Igbo men who view relationships with Yoruba men as taboo[/]. He definitely has a primitive mind, and is therefore perfectly capable of beating his wife.
What you put up there is absolute rubbish.

Their union was inter-tribal. The woman is not even Igbo.(a Tess Iyi Oniga is probably of Edo state origin). So your statements dont make any sense.

I'll rather think that his use of 'a nigerian of Yoruba origin' indicates he doesn't know much of the male lover and that was how best he could describe his wife's lover.

Serves him right for inviting her over again after all she did. He should thank his stars she didn't poison his food. Clueless man.
CrimeMother Of 2 Caught With Heroin by otapiapia(op): 6:50pm On May 23, 2011
The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, has arrested a mother of two with 2.3 kilogrammes of heroin concealed in hand bags, the agency said this morning.

The 38-year old suspect, Ms. Olanrewaju Risikat Abiola, was arrested at the weekend at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos, South West Nigeria during the inward screening of Emirate airline passengers from Bombay.

Abiola, NDLEA said, sells Indian clothes at Lagoon market, Nnamdi Azikiwe Road, Lagos Island.

In her confessional statement, Risikat stated that she was only helping the owner of the bag to bring it into the country.

“I was only helping my fellow trader and did not know that the bag contained drugs. I used to buy my wares from Togo and Benin Republic. During my first trip to Indian in February 2011, I met this Nigerian woman who also imports goods from Indian. When I got to Bombay during my recent trip, she requested me to assist her by bringing some of her goods. She opened the bags for me to see because they are new bags. I never knew that heroin was industrially packaged in six of the bags. It is obvious that a fellow woman had played on my intelligence,” she said.
