calyto:you can't be serious right now. what of the crisis that happened last year in Kaduna that made El rufai declared 24hours curfew for almost a week. I don't like arguing on social media platform, I don't really fancy typing a full epistle to prove a point. u travel to the north when the timing is right, stay in a 5 star hostel with top security, stay there for three to four days and claim to know what goes on in a state. let's be pragmatic here, if you have confidence in what u said, come and rent an appartment among the Hausa people in the north, say Kaduna. let crisis start and see if you won't be the first to be slaughtered. |
calyto:are u in this country at all, do you listen to news. all the killing by Fulani herds men in the country nkor, what about all the bloodshed and crisis that has been happening in the north since 2014. you will stay in Lagos and in the safety of ur room and say what u like just because you are not directly affected by the atrocities going on in the north. |
ayenika1:Pls help me with it. augustineezekiel45@gmail.com. |
Allylic:Allylic, how do one pronounce your username sef. is it ah-lie-lick or what. |
another was during this ponzi scheme. I was no fan of that stuff at that time but my roommate whom I shared a room with at ekosodin, Benin, had a dream of buying a car with MMM. he was into the shit like mad. he would collect money from his parents for academic purpose only to invest it in ponzi scheme. I had my rent money in my account just waiting for the time it was due to renew the rent. the rent was to be due by January ending. it was November by then. my Rommie asked me to give him my own part of The rent, that he want to go and pay. I knew instantly that he wanted to combine both his rent and mine to invest in ponzi. I warned him. but he denied, claiming that was not his intentions, but after much pressure, he agreed and told me that I will have my own cut in the profit and that if he couldn't get the money back, he will shoulder the responsibility of paying the rent alone. na so I take surrender my share of rent give am. December come. mmm crash, na so our rent follow mmm go o. that was how we started investing in other ponzi schemes like ultimate cycler, what app ponzi etc, to recovery our rent o. but we couldn't realise even half of the rent, because, we were still losing to the ponzi world. As my roommate see say go no go and landlord don give everybody deadline of February to pay rent. the guy have to open up to parents na, to collect rent again o. and the funny thing is that, the guy collects full rents from his parents as if he is staying alone. the parents begin para o. send am money way no reach again, say Na wetin they get be that. say if he know where to borrow make he borrow. na so landlord come our room, o. throway our load come outside o. the man no want hear anything. that day I was so embarrassed. na so me and my roommate go meet one of my realest guy for him house. if you see us eh, you go think say we don give woman belle. na so we come explain give my guy o. say make he help us with I think 8- 10k if I can remember correctly, and you know say to borrow that kind money from your fellow student hand dey hard. but luckily for us, the guy gave us. na so we come complete the money go pay landlord o. the embarrassment that day sha no be here. our landlord no get conscience o. |
wow, I don't know which one to say. but let me drop this particular one. in my 200l in hall 3 uniben. it was a normal thing to cook with hot plate (electric cooker). some of us in the hostel didn't even have kerosene stove. so on this particular day, something went wrong with the light, the current was too low to carry The hot plate, so I couldn't cook. I went to read, came back in the evening, current was still low, I still couldn't cook. if there was no light at all, they would have put on the gen by 7pm. but since there was still light, even tho it was low, the people in charge will never put off the light to put on the gen. no one in my room cooked. so I decided to go for night class. Hunger almost made me unconcious while I was reading, so I decided to go back to the hostel while doing a mental calculation on which of my friends must have cooked. I went to one of my friends room that night, the guy too Don go night class. have to borrow phone for my roommate to call any of my friends avaliable. for where, most of their phone where not going through. I managed to call Desmond, he picked and told me e was coming back from night class with two girls. that I should wait for him and that he only had garri to offer me. I said no p. he came back around 12 .15 am. it was that dey that I realized that the sweetness of ordinary garri could compete with any thing in this life. I learnt never to read anything especially calculations whenever I am hungry. |

Mbenny:it directions opposite house of finances. I also wrote one of dragnet test in that Afrihub center. though mine was for IT placement in Mobil. so if you are coming from kaduna, take a bus to zuba, with is 400-500 naira. from the last park at zuba, board a taxi going to berga, it like 45 mins drive. from berga junction, take a taxi, telling him you are going to federal ministry of finance, or house of finance for short. opposite it, is the Afrihub. |
YhurKarma:the first page should do, but to be on the safer side, Just print the two pages, it won't cost you more than N50 per page. trust me, you don't want to be disorganized or disoriented when you see everyone having two pages of print out and you only came with a page. the fear that you may not be allowed into the CBT center may destabilize you. |
for those seeking for accommodation, my advise is to try and locate a church fellowship secretariat, they could be of considerable help to you. you can start by asking someone you know in uniben about a church secretariat, you may not necessarily be a member of the church as the case maybe. school is not in session so one need to be cautious about accommodation issues. for example dlcf secretariat, gospel pillars, RCF secretariat, etc. |
thepremiumblog:I got a d in f/maths and still got chemical Engineering in uniben in 2013/2014 session. if computer engineering is your dream course. take the risk and go for it. it has never been heard that a student was denied eng because he failed f maths. i know a student sef, who had d in biology and that is a student of petroleum eng. in a class some will score 300 and some will just score the minimum bench mark. but they are all student of the class. know what you want. |
fahvurtaj:yes. it's a good score for elect eng. if your o level is good, all you have to do is to trust in the lord |
EFEKODOJAMES:last year production engineering cut off mark was 200. chemical was 215, petroleum eng 220. and capital yes. u can transfer from any engineering department to another, after your first year. I.e when you are going to 200level. but 222 is not a complete write- off for chem eng. I got it some years back with just 225 and I know some people who scored less that got their engineering course. tho we wrote putme at that time. to be frank, anything from 220 and above is suitable for all engineering course. it just depends on the general performance of those viaing for the course |
GeoSilYe:yeah. u stand a good chance of getting law. It becomes better if you are from the catchment area |
akpananiefiok(m ) are the Apkan I m thinking about, the one in chem Eng ![]() |
Well to those who are eligible for the screening should not relax yet, this is a time u need God, family members and friend. Do a personal face to face interview with ur friend so as to prepare u for the main interview, Becos in a face to face screening, u have limited time to think. |
@sirdave Go to the kofa page, click on d menu bar, a dropdown list appears, click on application, click on Uniben admission screening, screw down a little, then click on download bench mark and see things for ur self |
My name is Otemeh. Am already a student and I want to use this medium to contribute my quota of assistant to uniben aspirants or better still newly admitted, especially now that the list would soon be released. |
So wat do we do? |
