There are some bad eggs but the way non teaching staff unions are going on about this matter is shameful.

They too should look inwards at non teaching staff who engage in racketeering through admissions, hostel accommodation, transcript, certificates, school fees, movement and issuance of forms, nysc posting, age forging, etc.

The so called good candidates, do they have the logistics to weather election stormhuh Since last election, where is Prof Oluemi Sonaiyahuh People are rooting for fantastic Donald Duke, but is the logistics in his favourhuh This is Nigeria Politics....Good candidacy, vibrancy, visions and mission statement alone don't win election.
There is nothing fantastic in Donald Duke, the only legacy he left is the carnival in calabar which is being replicated in other states. He may be at best a good Tourism or Foreign Minister.

Why should it be a northern candidate they have to produce @op ?

Why can't they present a southerner as the presidential candidate.

Buhari is not that strong, only the North west is sure for him, atiku will battle him in the North east.

Buhari have been contesting since 2003 and he has always been losing, so he will be the presidential candidate of APC,PDP will produce atiku,SDP should produce Donald duke
Donald Duke is not a strong politician.

Only the rich fly aeroplanes, government should focus on railways with a view to privatizing them. Government should liquidate and remove its hand from the running of Aero and Arik. That 210billion can work wonders in the health sector.

Atouke:
Second Runway at The State Owned International Airport in Uyo, The Only State owned and Maintained CAT 2 Airport in Nigeria with Instrument Landing System ILS that enable planes to land in bad weather and at night when there is less visibility.

The AKIA (QUO) is the only airport in Nigeria Besides the federally owned Lagos and Abuja with functional ILS and night landing capabilities at the moment.

Work has reached 90% completion Govt will soon open for use, this great investment that will officially cement AKIA as the airport with the best runway in West Africa.

Interestingly the 2nd runway has the same CBT that will support Aircraft weight, an an impressive length of 3.5km x 60m width as the first runway, and is designed for the biggest/widest Aircraft in the world.
The second runway will also function as a taxiway, this is a very innovative runway design that will allow the airport to remain open in event of the shutdown of any of the runway either for emergency or for maintenance work. cheesy.

This type runways are uncommon in West Africa, even the Nations capital Abuja Airport has only one runway which was recently shutdown for maintenance, crippling Nigerias Economy that is already walking on crutches.

The Airport is also the home to the biggest Aircraft Maintenance, Repair and overhaul MRO facility building in West Africa, Which will soon open for business.
Port Harcourt International has night landing capabilities.

Some people have good supply of electricity and pay their bills, the Gencos and the Discos should be merged so that the end user pays bills directly and stop government intervention.
