First things first, the father should be fined or even jailed. There was no need to take him back to warri from Lagos. He should have been immediately taken to the best of hospitals in Lagos. The father seems well to do, he should have taken the boy to a good Lagos hospital. It was clearly an emergency. The father acted stupidly and at the end the poor boy died. They had already planned to withdraw troops. Their presence alone guaranteed some level of liberalism, female rights, education, especially female education etc. But the Afghan politicians and senior Military officers were highly corrupt, the Taliban still enjoyed local support from some useless conservatives, soldiers and citizens who ignorantly saw them as an alternative to the corrupt politicians. Jennyclay:That's d problem. Putin is eager to test whatever capabilities he thinks his armed forces have. Even if he eventually looses, he doesn't mind sacrificing thousands of his soldiers. It's not like the citizens have much rights. The US and much of Europe on the other hand will be very very careful because their citizens will be watching carefully and they have rights of expression. After loosing thousands of men needlessly in the middle East after 9/11, they will try their best to avoid another full blown war. Only when they're directly attacked they will come all out. China/Russia may have been elevated to world powers and have heavy arsenal, but they're still no match for the US/UK/Germany/Japan/South Korean alliance. Atiku made his money by having Government concessions and being savy enough to secure the contract of collating revenue and logistics in our ports and previous agro businesses. If you think Atiku is a crook, then Dangote, Otedola, Adenuga etc are crooks then. Atiku openly came out to condemn the Government during the end sars killing.
