Good morning all and a happy new month. May this month usher in good news of visa approval to us all. pls I'm trying to schedule an interview but each time I enter my details it keeps telling me my details are same as that on my dad's profile because at a point earlier in d yr I applied for a visiting visa (group application where my dad mentioned me and my brother as accomplice for his trip) pls how do u proceed as i need to schedule ds interview as soon as possible. thanks

Old bank statements raises questions, if you are put on Administrative Processing (AP) and you are found guilty not of outright fraud but misrepresentation, jungle fit mature for you, so look for a new account or wait till the previous one bulks up. The gurus here might have a better advice though.

thanks for the quick response bro.. the thing is Its stated on my form I-20 that my brother and myself will pay but i needed to engage in some financial obligation that depleted my account and I don't want to do any form of lodgement as I would av asked my brother to make a transfer to me but my brothers account is still well funded. I could get is recent statement but mine is d problem. or what would u advice?

pls house I used a bank syatement ending in early March to get my form I-20 but have a visa interview for June ending. the account has since depleted due to the current economic situation. can I still attend the interview with ds same old bank statement?

I did online route and my biometric status still writing not needed at this time.... pls is it meant to change to biometrics done? it's over 3 weeks now ooo

Please I have submitted my application and av been mail to come for medicals, so I went for my medicals, after getting tested the doctor said I'm okay and my result would be forwarded to Canada this week....please should I be assure my visa would be granted?

great. when did u submit your app? you can visit any of the designated hospital with your passport and also the form in the attachment of the medical mail sent to you

Thanks for the prompt reply. Like I earlier stated, I already applied for the B1/B2 visa and fixed an interview date before my admission came through. And would you rather advice I wait till around June ending or early July before applying for the F-1 visa? so as to avoid the interview been close to the time of previous denial since my school resumes on the 22nd of August 2016.

Your recent application for a B1/B2 will be noted in the system, but the officer you see will look at your F1 case with fresh eyes and ask questions specifically related to that. However, we would advise that you are very upfront with the officer about why you have had two applications so close together and be sure to explain in detail how the school and program you selected further your career goals.

Good afternoon. My elder brother who works in the US invited my dad and I being the last child of the family for the summer holiday, I currently work with my employer for about 2 years now and plan to take my annual leave around July for the purpose of the trip with my dad as he will need assistance during travel due to his age. We went for interview on Monday and the visa officer did not ask my dad a single question, instead he asked me what we were going to do in the US, he also asked me what I do which I told him I work as a Drilling supervisor stating the name of my employer as well, he latter asked if I was married wish I answered NO, he also asked if I have travelled out of the country before which I also answered NO. He then approved my dad and denied me. My concern now is;

After I submitted our application for B1/B2 visa, a school I applied to in the US for my Masters degree granted me admission and I am expecting the admission letter and my form I-20 soon as it has now been couriered. (N.B: this was before we went for the interview but I did not make mention of this new development to the visa officer)

I hope the denial of my B1/B2 visa based on the visa officer's assumption that I might not return won't affect my application for a F-1 student visa.

This is really given me a whole lot of concern as my intentions are genuine and I am going for a Masters degree in the same fied I have my Bachelors degree.

pls house I did biometrics like a week ago but when I tracked on mycic it still states that biometrics not needed at this time. should I be bothered or it's normal for online applicants

Am no guru....but b4 they come. What yu basically need to get your I20 is a Statement of Account which you will send to school showing you have the amount required for your first year.

Try to peruse the school's website there would definitely be directions on how to go about this.

Send a mail quickly, but funding get grade sha is just school scholarship or a GA position?

Check through the sch website and lookout for the I-2o requirement form or the funds to show in a Bank statement to request for I-20. For financial aid, mail the graduate coordinator stating your interest in funding/GA, or apply in other departments (administrative)

I just received an offer of admission from South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, please what documents do I need to get my I-20 and how do u get a financial support tho I was told to send a mail if I'm in need of financial support as 2/3rd of their graduate students get financial assistance. please the gurus here should put me through.

Did you do upfront medical the last time? I dont have the 2- paged printout as I was called for medicals which I passed. how do i go about using that medicals for this new application?

There's a 2-paged printout given at the medical Examination Centre containing your picture and biodata, scan those pages, then type in the form's code at the top. That code is what is used by CIC to confirm from the Medical Examination Centre.

Hello house something strange was stated in my letter, it states i do not show sufficient relationship with sponsor. my sponsor did an affidavit of sponsorship and support and we both answer same surname. pls house kindly advice on how else to tackle this as it sounds strange because i dont know how else to prove relationship as we answer same name. sponsor is my brother.

that will be d best thing to do because with ur app and credential u should av gotten a medical call and eventual passport request. sure with that we will all know what really happened and where d mistake came from. I will also advice u reapply with same school and credentials

Going for Pgd : corporate communications and PR (fanshawe college). 1 year grad cert.
Submitted : all cic forms, police clearance, letter of sponsorship (dad), transcript, loa, sop, letter of intro (my work place and sponsors work place), my leave letter from the office, my passport with fair travel history, dad's balance of 4.5, mine (600k) lol, property documents evaluated 80m, emolument 15m, school fees receipt paid 7k5 Cad. Didn't do an up-front medical.
Refused :
1 Reason : insufficient balance to pay for my fees. Lol. Isn't that funny but not funny
