How I hate to read that women keep their money. The reality is that most women of nowadays are even the bread winners. Most of them have been laden with the responsibility of providing food, and even paying school fees.
Gone are those days when women were Oriaku, they are now Okpataku
Literature / Re: Write a Short Story of about 100 Words by Ouchbabe(f): 10:15am On Sep 07
As the sun set over the football field, Emily gazed into Alex's warm eyes. They'd grown up together, but it wasn't until senior year that she saw him in a new light. Alex, the star quarterback, had always been charming, but now his smile made her heart skip a beat. During the homecoming game, he caught her eye and winked. After the game, he walked her home, hand in hand. Under the twinkling lights, he confessed his feelings. Emily's heart soared as she smiled, knowing she felt the same. Their first kiss was like a dream come true.

Politics / Dangote Refinery A Blessing Or A Curse? by Ouchbabe(f): 11:37am On Sep 03
Before now, Nigerians have lamented the lack of indigenous refineries and attributed the high cost of petrol, diesel and gas to it.

Thankfully, Dangote Refinery came to be. I read that it can only sell to NNPC. That means NNPC is the sole buyer.

And boom, NNPC is selling fuel at over #800.

What is the fate of a common man?
What is the fate of salary earners like teachers(I'm a teacher cry )
What is the fate of SME's?

Where do we go from here?

Despite all the legit side hustles, the bills keep pilling up.

Let God's will be done

Cost of bringing in petrol is around 1200
Distribution us around 100

So petrol should sale for 1350 to 1400 minimum
And how much is the minimum wage which some states are yet to implement? cry

I'm a Christian and heaven is the GOAL but unfortunately lack of money can make so many christians to compromise thereby miss heaven.
So being poor or rich is not a yardstick to measure who goes to heaven or not.
I will rather have money than not.
When I don't have money, I'm not happy.

Useless talk.
They should channel that effort to the north where passengers even as at last Saturday were abducted in their numbers.
My brother in-law was attacked some time ago by armed-to-the-teeth robbers in one of the eastern states. Guess who the perpetrators were.....Fulanis.

But the hypocrites on this forum will attribute every crime down east to the Ibos

Explain why you are registered and on a Nigerian forum. You will not see a single Nigerian on any South African social forum. Nigeria live in you South Africans' heads rent free clearly. Disgusting xenophobe. Easy for you to bark and talk crap at your fellow African but you become humble and meek in front of the true people who own most of South Africa's wealth and land. Please join a circus, you're a clown!
And the mods are blind. They are not seeing it

Sometimes, the best way to get justice is to get it yourself.
The courts of the world will jot give it to you and public opinion will not do too.

You go there, grab it and run with it— even if it means ending it all—and like that, you reduce the likelihood of the injustice happening to another person.
GRAB and RUN. This phrase sounds familiar

A girl I used to work with invited me to go out with her to a restaurant and all bills on her, I don't think she is into me, is this normal for women to do?
It's not all that deep. Why don't you just hang out with her first before drawing conclusion.
You might have done something nice for her in the past when you guys worked together.
She might just want to show appreciation
