When I first heard about SEO Kang Joon and ahn eunjin getting cast in a love other than yours, I was very excited cos obviously I love them but after reading the plot of the story I got a bit worried cos the plot reminded me of one of SEO Kang joon's drama the third charm which I absolutely disliked. There's nothing as annoying and frustrating as 2 people tolerating themselves through a long term relationship when they should have broken up tey tey. So I'm very worried that this drama might turn out to be as unpleasant as that drama for me. For now though, the drama is just 2 episodes and onto a good start, I'm just going to pray that it doesn't end up being like the third charm especially since it's the same actor. Long term relationships are weird and honestly it's either it ends up in marriage or a break up and imagine dating someone for 10 years, breaking up would feel like such a waste of time (even though it shouldn't) and some people will make the mistake of thinking marriage will fix their problems just like namgung is doing now especially since they've been friends from childhood even before they started dating but marriage without fixing the issue is just rubbish. Another annoying thing for me is the fact that I can actually relate to both of them and both of them have valid reasons to do what they do. For the guy, he's obviously in love with her, has been all his life and he feels fulfilled knowing that she chose him, he's satisfied and feels like he can do anything for her so why should that change, she's literally his dream girl and he's being selfish just like every normal human being will be but he's not actually seeing the fact that she's not really happy, hell I think he sees it but is turning a blind eye to it cos that's just human nature tbh. As for the female lead, she's not living her dream, not fulfilled with work so there's obviously no way she won't feel like a burden to her boyfriend who has a "stable" Job. Hell it's basically what happens to everyone, if you don't feel fulfilled in any aspect of your life there's no way you can be a good girlfriend, spouse, daughter, sister, brother, parent, friend anything without making a conscious effort to be so this isn't even about romantic relationships. I can promise you that if she had a thriving career, they wouldn't be having this issue. By that time the problem would probably be that they're too busy that they don't have time to meet each other (problems no dey finish for this life😭🤣)

Is it just me or has the male lead lost a lot of weight?

As in, her lack of self respect is interesting. Phycology students need to study her as a test subject 🤣. And from the preview of the next episode, it seems the stupid leads are getting back together 🤦🤦.

The mother's own is another thing. How can a woman leave her three small kids with an irresponsible husband and father and never for once check up on them, even from a distance? Na wa o. When she was even called to help, she turned her back on them so why is she forming guilt now?!

Weekend dramas always have the best storyline ever but I don't understand what's happening lately. It's like there's no talented writers in Korea again. Love on the menu is the first weekend drama that I find boring. Nothing is working for me.

I don't know what is wrong with the writer(s) of Love On The Menu but what's the meaning of this? Which kind of nonsense writing is this? Just to make it 50 episodes? How can the two idiot leads choose to date people that they have no feelings for just to what? Forget about the other person? As annoying as they both are, the female lead is more annoying. Hmmmm. I doubt if I will finish this drama. Or maybe like Kang, I may just fast forward through the episodes 🤷.

Let me rant just a bit. So I have always enjoyed any drama that has Park Eun Bin in it no matter the genre unfortunately, she decided to pick a yamayama script this time. I'm talking about 'spooky in love'
I don't enjoy the drama for some reasons
1. The main lead.. (they had like 1.5% chemistry)
2. How can they use my Ong Seung Woo to play the villain
3. Almost everything is wrong sef I can't write long epistle abeg

I am with you in this, was going to come online and talk about the lack of chemistry between the leads. It was as if the writer didn't know what to do with th story at some point especially towards the end.

The only good thing about the drama was the fashion. The female lead's fashion was really good.

The only mistake she should be held accountable for is the fact that she kept his son from him. Even if she did it initially out of staying out of trouble or whatever, after they met and she found out he's not married, she should have revealed the truth

I totally agree with you. Leaving him was cruel but her choice. Keeping the son from him, there's no excuse for that. So I am really hoping that the boy is not her biological child. Since she has been portrayed as a helper, maybe she had to adopt him from someone that's no more. But the problem with that theory is that the boy is as rude and blunt as the male lead 🤣.

I really don't like that the female lead broke up with the male lead while he was sick in the hospital. Ok, that was despicable but fine, na her life but we get to find out ( not confirmed yet though) that she was carrying his child. Keeping a child from their parents (except in cases of abuse) is a no no.

On a second thought, maybe the child is not her biological child. Let me see it this way until the truth is revealed.

I don't believe in reincarnation but for this purpose, let me just say, maybe l had lived before but I really don't know what happened to me that makes me get triggered in situations that has to do with kids. Any forms of maltreatment in kids triggers me.

Lee Jun Young, this cameo in Our Sticky Love, I like. His appearance was a pleasant surprise because I love all his works especially Reborn Rookie.

What I don't like? The fact that the son didn't get to know that his former boss was his father. I kind of understand why the writer doesn't want him to know but I still preferred that he knew.

One of the most ridiculous things I have seen in this my journey with Our Sticky Love is that, how can you tell me that the same coach coached father and son yet the coach is looking like the father's age mate or even younger. They should have used a much older actor to play the coach if there were going to go this route. Or maybe he was a baby genius that became a coach really young.

If you must put out a statement immediately, just say that you don't have the facts and will make another statement after you verify. Then you go and ask your artist and it possible interview her family members or do other investigations and if it's really true, you come back and apologise to the public and fans. Say that she didn't know the history in details because he had died long before she was born, bla bla bla. You are sorry to those who lost their lives and family members during that time as a result of those that profited from selling out their country, etc. Then reduce her appearances to the bare minimum.

There is something I'd like to add briefly. Ha young was the one who talked about her background in a media round interview on sticky love. She mentioned her great grandfather was the first doctor to open western clinic in Hayang. I think netizens only searched to verify that and boom yam pepper scatter scatter

So our sticky love lol. I have a lot to say but first my baby girl Hayoung. Her first lead role and she delivered. Technically her first lead role was in trauma code but that drama was more focused on the male characters so.... Anyway she gave all that she needed to and I'm looking forward to her next drama with Lee Je Hoon. As for the drama lmaoo the most unrealistic storyline ever😭 be like say make I stone the writer 🤣 in 2026 you find a missing person and you don't use google images or chatgpt to even try to see if it'll bring any result🤣? She's a prosecutor it would have been so easy to get results on her. Apart from that the friend's lie was so dumb😂 no matter how much revenge you wanted, your friend goes missing, comes back with no memory and tells you a strange guy is pretending to be her boyfriend and because you want "revenge" you don't even think of her safety? That's bullshi!t cos people won't even treat their enemies that way. Funny enough, the writing was bad but the execution of the drama was actually good, even better than some dramas with good storyline. I feel like the director and the cast really hard carried the drama and somehow made it work. Writing was bull but the action was actioning, the romcom was romcoming and it was actually a pleasant watch. It's good it aired all at once tho cos if this was a weekly drama the ratings would have kept going down. The drama started weak but the midpoint of the drama was actually so strong, it could have had a strong ending too but I think they over dragged it. The drama should have ended with 10 episodes. All the numerous flashbacks were unnecessary, the dragging out of their dating era was also unnecessary TBH. I mean I like love but even I was like it's okay, we get it, they're in love can we move on to something else 😩 and did they really have to go the secret dad route

Please spoil it for me. Who is who's dad?
Also, that his gangster colleague that came with a broken foot will sell them out right? He seems shady.

‎No wonder woo soo bin was so angry at sim yu geon for signing with topline entertainment in dream to you. Tbh while watching episode 7, I thought his reaction was too extreme. I'm like the natural reaction would be like jo yi Jae's. Like yes he signed a shi!tty slave contract with Satan but because we know how much he suffered to get to where he is, you'd still be happy for him but watching episode 8 and realizing that crazy woman is woo soo bin's mom, it all makes sense. I must say tho that the secret mother and step sibling story line is legit the most makjang-y thing I've watched since they turned the romcom that was supposed to be love next door into a cancer drama 😩

Happy for cha woo min who's now officially a 2nd male lead actor, it's only a matter of time before he starts playing male lead roles.

I haven't watched the episode 8 of Dream To You. Will do that today, hopefully.

The Cha Woo Min was the second male lead in Study Group. Though he was a villain. That was my first time seeing him and he played the role really well.
