2026 is up and running and I've only watched two dramas this year. One was released in 2025 while the other in 2026. One a historical drama while the other a psychological romance. You can pretty much guess the dramas 😉

I need recommendations abeg though I'm eyeing 'To my beloved thief and the art of Sarah's. But I don't know if I'll end up going for it. Mannnnnn! I need a proper drama 😭😭😭😭

Someone called us to say that he is from MTN and that our device was sending an error message to them so they need to come and fix it. We told him that the device is working fine and we didn't make any complaint but he kept saying that since it's already sending the error messages, it will soon develop an issue so he has to come and fix it, not even on the connection outside the house but inside the house. We became suspicious and ended the call then placed a call to 217. When we told them about the call, they said we should disregard it as long as we didn't log any complaint and the device is working fine, there's no need for any visit.

They also said any 'agent' that comes to the house for anything should show their ID card to prove that they work with MTN.

Let's be mindful of our safety in this time of insecurity.

Congratulations to Shin Min Ah and Kim Woo Bin on their upcoming wedding. May their home be fruitful. All these relationships that are longer than some marriages, they are trying sha. E remain the Girl's Generation lady and her own boyfriend.

I'm glad to see @ovems say she's really enjoying heroes next door cos as for me and my house 😅 it's just there. I don't know maybe it's cos I was dead exhausted from work or something but I struggled to get into it. Especially episode 1, the humor seemed a little too try hard and almost slapstick-y, I guess episode 2 was a bit better but tbh I was so tired I skipped through the thing. I do love the cast tho, my queen Kim ji hyun, she's such a versatile actress and I wish she got a lot of chances to show her versatility, Lee Jung ha my baby is also here and wow Jin sun kyu really bulked up for this role o, pretty sure the last time I saw him in a drama he was as tiny as a fly. I want his gym contact and fitness regimen 🤣 the husbands being afraid of their wives took me out 🤣 but honestly the treatment of children in this drama is having me side eye everybody cos what do you mean you moved into an area the day before and you're so confident leaving your 6 year old daughter in a shop with a strange man so you could quickly buy something from the next shop lmao you no dey fear? Or is it because the place is kinda rural? As for the parents of teenagers 🤣 you know your daughter is a hormonal boy crazy teen and you're getting her a hot oppa tutor and will obviously leave them together with little to no supervision, hell she's already contacting him in her private time like he's her boyfriend, are they not afraid she'll get groomed by an adult? Maybe they trust her to be sensible and just stay crushing oh well. Hopefully the drama on't be a disappointment storywise

🤣 So far, the story is looking good let's just hope for continuity. Also, the Insurance Company male lead is a favourite of mine. I have been following him since Kiss Sixth Sense so it was really nice seeing him in a totally different role.

I see what you mean about the kids. I noticed that too. Hopefully, the tutor puts an end to her fantasies quickly. Fingers crossed with the drama..

Heroes Next Door is my most favourite drama among the currently airing ones. I hope it continues to be so. Looking forward to when the whole group come together.

It's always obvious when they do it but overall, we just want the dramas to be good.

Saw a video on YouTube of Lee Min Ho and Ji Chang Wook at an award ceremony. I don't think they have been in a drama or movie together before so it was nice seeing them interacting like friends.

Another thing I wanted to mention on your Dynamite Kisses review is when you said hope they won't say they have a childhood connection, I just laughed when I saw that in her flashback scene of her dad and sister, she was wearing a taekwondo uniform and when the male lead also had a flashback with his mum, he was also wearing one. I said 'see the link here🤣🤣.

Why I love this drama is because their misunderstanding is resolved quickly. They don't drag any nonsense minor issues.

Pls guys,does the router need to be on for activation to take place. My friend whom dey installed our routers at the same time 8 days ago is still having issues with his own activation.we've called 217 for activation and still nothing yet.I'm suspecting that the problem he has is because he only has light in the night when he comes back from work and put on his Generator. So maybe activation is been attempted during the day when there's no light to power the router. Is this a possible scenario?

I think so. They asked if ours was on when they called for activation.

As you stood by - Netflix so will be released in one day. Love the cast, apparently it's an adaptation of a Japanese drama I haven't seen but people say it was really good. 2 best friends team up to kill the husband of one of them who's a wife beater. Here for the female-centric vibe

Dynamite kiss - vibe is giving old school romcom but I'm here for the cast and their magazine spread looked beautiful 🤭

The 4th love revolution - college love drama. Seems bleh but I adore the cast so...

Heroes next door - seems like fighting for justice stuff. Not sure how it will turn out but going in for the cast

Taxi driver 3 - I watched season 1 & 2. I have no choice at this point 🤣

Lol. I can watch a 'bad' character as long as, like you said, there's a form of redemption or victory over evil at the end. I plan to watch Dear X cos I like the main leads.

Good recommendation! I'm equally following this too. I'm in ep 15 at the moment. I only started yesterday. A very fast paced drama. No dull moment except in ep 12 & 13. I recommend too

I want to watch The Manipulated because of course it's Ji Chang Wook but I generally don't like dramas or movies where someone is framed for something they didn't do. It happens in real life and some people never get to clear their name or get justice. It's just a reminder of how unjust and unfair the world is. Let me see if I can try.

I have been told to just enjoy the art/story and not put myself in it but it's hard😃. I downloaded a Chinese drama Love's Ambition, the whole 36 episodes or so, watched upto episode 9 and deleted the rest. Why? I can't stand liars and Manipulators in real life so if I am reading a story or watching a movie and someone is that way, especially if they are the man leads, I won't be able to stomach it.

I haven't seen that one. The only traditional drama I have seen is A Dream Within A Dream. Next on my list is The Prisoner Of Beauty. Will check Blood River out and see. Thanks!

I have been watching some Chinese dramas too. I have left Hollywood movies and only watch a few of their series. One of my favourites was 911 but I dumped that one too after they killed the Captain last season. Now I only watch Doc and High Potential. The Witcher is another one that I was watching but I don't know how I feel about Henry Cavill's change.
