Why her has ended and I am very impressed. A solid drama. I feel like it's been a while since I saw a drama that didn't have a bleh filler episode. In Why Her, every episode was important and straight to the point of the story. I loved it. If there's any issue I have, it's probably that we didn't get to see the younger son after he exposed his dad, he just sort of disappeared. Today's webtoon is taking over from next week. I am so ready for it.

Cleaning up has also ended but because of English subs wahala lol I'm still stuck at episode 11, I'll try to catch up with the rest before English subs of the last two episodes will be available

Why Her was good , I was just put off by the romance. The final episode was a shocker for me. I didn't know Chairman Choi did the killings himself. Thought it was the secretary that was his killing machine.

The female lead was just annoying. The male lead, well I can't even explain. I was just rolling my eyes in a lot of the scenes. For example where the male lead was been attacked in the interrogation room, Aunty female lead came into the room with a teazer (I hope I got the spelling correct) and was telling the attacker to back off, the man was still on top of the male lead but madam was there shouting that her should stop for almost what seem like 5mins instead of her to shoot him. If the attacker had wanted to kill the male lead, he would have succeeded.

The way they kept going on about looking for the person that took her brother's heart at a point just got exhausting. At a point I had to ask if they wanted to collect the heart back . I understand that they wanted justice and wanted the person that 'stole' the heart to pay for his 'crime' but abeg, I tire for them jare.

The most annoying was when they discovered that Jayden was the recipient of the heart. They heard that he was an accident victim when he got the heart yet they were investigating him as a suspect. I am not a doctor but even I know that an accident victim is supposed to be unconscious and can't make decisions on whether to steal someone's heart. Especially seeing how he hated the chairman. I don't think he deserved to go to prison.

As @ovems said the Wed-Thurs dramas these days have been a drag but thank God for extraordinary attorney woo, it's literally the gift that keeps on giving

Not only Wed-Thurs o. All of them from Monday to Saturday (thank God the Friday - Saturday dramas have ended, waiting for the new breeds). Extraordinary Attorney Woo is relatively new (it didn't start in June) and a breath of fresh air. Café Minamdang and Alchemy Of Souls are also good. Those are the only three dramas that are currently airing and are worth watching. I haven't watched the season 2 of Yumi's Cells but I hope it's not like the rest.

I'm tired of jinxed at first and this their system of never giving information to people that actually need it. Seulbi and min joon are stebsiblings, why is nobody telling min joon so that he can stop making a fool of himself with his "I love Seulbi" shenanigans. Isn't that the easiest way to make him give up on her. I don't understand them at all. Who knows, if he forgets about Seulbi and focuses on the Jang Kyung that actually loves him, it might help neutralize whatever curse is on him.

I had to show my brother the son heung min scene from extraordinary woo young woo, lol he laughed so hard. I don't know why she doesn't include wow in her list of words that are the same forward and backwards hahaha

Seriously, the dramas that started airing in June are not doing so well in the ratings and they deserve it. You know how sometimes, a drama's ratings might be poor but you enjoyed it so much that you wonder why others don't love it as much as you did. But these ones, I can't even defend them.

I watched Remarriage And Desire and I really loved it. Didn't expect to enjoy it at all because I thought it would be all those rich people drama that was full of revenge and all (somehow, it was like that but not in the way I thought it would be). I started the episode 1 cos I was bored but enjoyed it so much I put others on hold to complete it. They was no kiss scene between leads but their chemistry was lit.....(unlike some people that are acting romance without any chemistry, even their kiss scene was awkward ) @ Kang

I should be given an award for starting and ending Doctor Lawyer. Hmmm. It is well with them is all I can say.

Referring to your second question, I think maybe Bollywood. Mainly because their music is not hidden in the background. We see the actors singing and dancing to their songs and it's usually very colourful. But in Kdramas, the songs are played in the background.

It's time for new underdogs to shine and I am so happy for them. First when it comes to streaming services in Korea, people instantly think Netflix, kakao, Apple +, Disney +, HBO and many more before coupang play but since Bae suzy's Anna started airing they have had an additional 600k subscribers. I'm not watching the drama so I don't know if it's good or if it's just the Suzy effect that made for this increase but I am happy for all of them. Secondly when it comes to cable TV, people think tvn, jtbc, ocn, channel a, chosun TV, tving etc before they talk about Ena but since extraordinary attorney woo started airing oh boy, their ratings increased tenfold and I hear there's a plan for an American remake, now I'm watching that one and I know it deserves the hype it's getting and if good doctor could get an American remake, I'm pretty sure eaw could also get its remake.

I had planned to watch ji Chang wook and sooyoung's upcoming drama but I think I'm changing my mind. I just realized the plot is based on the make a wish foundation and honestly I'm not in the mood to cry so I'll put it off and save it for whenever I want to cry lol

I decided to watch a drama I had previously skipped through so I'm choosing road no 1, I hope I enjoy it

LOL it's a good thing you didn't go past episode 6, you didn't miss anything. Sooyoung's acting wasn't the best there and the chemistry was meh but I'll always put the biggest blame on the writing of that drama. As for Uri hwang in yeop I agree he's not fitting for the role but I will still fight for their romance lol. He and oh soo Jae have been through so much, I don't want them to break up *sticks tongue out*

They must break up o. We usually don't like when the main leads in a drama break up at the end especially when the break up doesn't make sense but in this drama it is absolutely necessary that they don't reconcile. Let their so-called romance just die a natural death .

LOL this is a very popular opinion , i even wrote about how he should take a cue from Nam joo hyuk and play more supporting roles before going back to lead roles. The one that is unpopular is your opinion on Choi Tae joon. I thought he was great in so I married an antifan, the problem with that drama was the story/writing

I couldn't get past episode 6 of So I Married An Anti-Fan. His acting for me wasn't great. Same with the female lead (she was pretty though). And then the story was just there. The title got my interest but the rest drove me away. But in Why Her?, the actress is great, supporting casts are good, the story/writing is engaging. It's just the male lead I don't vibe with.

Unpopular opinion

I don't think the male lead in Why Her? is ready to be the main lead in a drama. It's the same way I felt about the male lead in So I Married An Anti-Fan. The difference between both dramas for me is that Why Her? has a solid plot and intrigues that keeps me interested. I really don't care for the male lead.

Please their so-called romance should not continue. They lack chemistry. The only Noona romance that I have seen where the chemistry was off the charts was Forecasting Love And Weather. Just that the writers couldn't keep the viewers engaged.

OH sweetheart I actually did long long ago but I'll explain again. It's honestly not a serious reason. The first drama I ever attempted was yi San and it was a new experience for me. I was used to watching American series that was 45 minutes per episode but this one was longer and I found myself getting tired, over 1 hour and the main leads had not grown up (lol typical American series, the leads childhood is shown for like 20 minutes and we get the full gist) anyway I slept and woke up so many times and the episode had still not ended so I decided that was it, saguek's are not for me. I know there are really good ones e.g I watched 1 episode of queen for 7 days and I was so tempted to break my rule but *sigh* they're mostly more than 20 episodes and mostly about palace politics, I really just hate the fact that I slept off on my first encounter with a saguek. I am not one to sleep off on something I'm watching for the first time

I can understand your reason. I keep saying that I am just grateful that my introduction to Kdramas was Crash Landing On You and Goblin. If I had started with an annoying/boring drama I don't think I would have continued. I would have been one of those that say Kdramas are not interesting.
